Incredible facility with all the amenities a golfer could ever want!

The food is fabulous and the club is gorgeous. It was wonderful to see caramel again after all these years. I grew up going to Carmel and I do miss it. It is even more beautiful now than it was when I was a child. All I can say is thank you Carmel for a wonderful evening.

Absolutely beautiful. What an amazing place for a concert!

I should preface this by stating that I attended a wedding reception here, so this review is based purely on my experience with the reception and not the day-to-day amenities this country club has to offer.There was plenty of parking available and the event I attended was a short walk from there. There was a bar available and the bar tenders seemed to have a mixed level of experience with one occasionally asking another about the contents of some drinks. On the other hand, there was another bar tender later in the evening at a different location that knew how to make pretty much everything and even had created (Ive looked and havent found any cocktail recipes that match the ingredients) his own drink. I doubt that Jorge is reading this but if he is, my wife is still talking about how great your tropical fruit drink tasted.The main reception area had room for quite a few guests and had food stations around the tables which was nice because it kept lines down, mostly, and allowed people to get up and move around and see different things as well as converse with people they hadnt met. The food was excellent, I dont believe I heard one complaint and thats generally hard to do as I know there are some picky eaters in my family.There was an area in the center of the room for dancing and enough area for a decent size stage for performers. There was also a very nice fire pit outside for those who wanted to break away from the event for a few minutes.With all of this said, I cannot say what was and wasnt supplied by the country club for this event. I can say though, that it is a very nice location and has the ability to be part of a great event.Im sure that this country club has many wonderful day-to-day amenities as well. I just was not able to partake in any of them as our sole purpose for attending was for the wedding reception.

What a wonderful Country Club this is. Will use the facility to work out. Also had a great lunch here. Wonderful steam room the staff is incredible. Very accommodating makes you feel very comfortable and want to come back. The members here are very fortunate to have the facility on the staff they do

I’m sorry but I just had to give it three stars. I come there once and you got the best staff ever. I come today and they are strict and mad. Nice place though. Get your old staff pls

Friday night at Carmel is more fun than any night at any other club in Charlotte!

I was a temp employee at this location, so I really dont know enough about this club to give it five stars (Not as if Ill ever afford to, . However, to say the least, its beautiful inside and out! The kitchen is tightly organized down to the smallest salad fork.

Beautiful country club, nice meeting space, and the restaurant food was very good.

Was there for a wedding reception. It was fabulous. The staff is top notch and the food was superb

Attended charitable function here. The accommodations were comfortable and adequate for the function. Hand-passed appetizers before dinner were good, with pleasant servers. The food was good and served nicely by the wait staff. Parking was plentiful. There was ADA access to the building and the restrooms.

Cant think of anything negative to say about this place. First rate golf course and club. The food is top tier and the pool is first class. The club holds events for members and guests that are always a fun time for family and friends.

Carmel is a first rate club. Golf today was still a challenge with no wind and 67 degrees in January ... but the snow that remained was way out of play. If you have a chance to play, you should do it.

Decent older golf country club.

Course is in great shape! Difficult approach shots reward a well-placed ball..... Knowledge of the course helps. Friendly staff....beautiful facilities.....relaxing round.

Just played the North (new) Course. Pretty fun round. Very nice staff. Had a really good boutique pizza at the bar.

I was working shuttle bus service for Rose charters and this is where the wedding was held

The members are very kind however they dont treat or respect their employees enough

Ive been delivering here for at 17yrs, and the staff are very nice and the patrons are nice also. Plus the bathrooms are spotless!!!

Nice well taking care of club

Grew up here. Was away for a couple of years. What they have done to the place is beyond amazing. Beautiful dining, and non-sport amenities. The south course is breathtaking, and I cannot wait to see the new design of the north. Makes me prob to say I spent my childhood here. Cannot wait until I can afford it.

I worked here it was my dream job tell the day I was sexual harass daily by male co workers. To this day this man continues to call me . The company did not stand up for me after presenting evidence to them that he was sexually harassing me. Kinda sad when you finally stand up for your self people to push it under the rug like its not an issue.
