First timers, used the Groupon for the couples massage with aromatherapy and wine. They put us at ease right from the beginning. The atmosphere definitely sets the tone for R&R. The aromatherapy was so on point, not too overbearing, very pleasant and relaxing.They were so kind to us and so professional. Very clean and sanitary during Covid, which really helps you relax too. Their process is wonderful and they were attentive to our trouble areas. Im not disappointed at all and will definitely refer them to anyone. We walked in sore from exercise the prior day and walked out feeling like a million bucks. Hopefully I can get my parents in. We will be repeat customers

This is the best place I am been for a massage ... I left and was actually no longer in pain. Jeff is not only a teacher but he likes to get to know you and your typical daily routines so he can help fix the issue rather than mask the issue. He communicates with you the entire time and teaches why you may be feeling certain discomfort in certain areas. I will be recommending all of my collegues and family to him.

I purchased this massage from groupon and called to make an appt. 2 weeks ago. a lady answered the phone and told me she would call me back with availability and never called back. I called back Wednesday and left a message, still no return phone. I am going to request a refund from my creditor. Bad business!!!!

My fiancé and I have been here twice for a couples massage and we both LOVE going here!! The massage therapists are so great. They listen to your needs and don’t “chitchat” with you during your massage so you have plenty of time to relax and unwind. We’ll definitely be back soon!

I have been going to many places to get my massage and THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE I LIKE. Three days ago for my first massages ever at this location and there are no words to describe how much I enjoyed. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, GREAT LOCATION,  GREAT ENVIRONMENT, GREAT MASSAGE GREAT, GREAT GREAT!!!. If you are looking for a massage place you are missing out if you dont go here. Jeff was great...very attentive to my neck issues and did a lot of great work on my neck pain. Space is warm and inviting, with nice music in the waiting area but not inside the massage rooms. I would have loved if the music was also inside the rooms. For being a deep tissue massage, I was a little nervous as Im very sensitive , but Jeff did a great job of using just the right amount of pressure and telling me to give him cues to lessen the pressure. We will definitely be back for a couples massage!

Best massage ever. Ive had a few messages in my day. Jeff by far is the best Ive ever received. Ive been a stylist for more than 30yrs. Ive had problems with my neck and right shoulder for years. Jeffs technique has worked the best for me. He was also great at making recommendations for maintenance at home. He was very professional and most definitely affordable. I have been back and will continue. Love the location and atmosphere. Wonderful experience to say the least. Thanks Jeff!

My husband and I scheduled a couples massage today for our Anniversary! They honoured their current groupon couples massage rate with no issues. It was all wonderful. Jeff and Theresa were so pleasant in booking and communication answering all our questions and talking us through my husbands first real massage experience. It was definitely therapeutic and we both feel amazing after! They definitely know their stuff and what to focus on! We will definitely be coming back! A+ All around.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is horrible. The dude is creepy. Stay away!!The owners response to my original review was a complete lie. This establishment just popped up on a groupon. Do not go here, it is a creepy place with a creepy guy running his soft hands over people....The 2.9 star rating he has is 3 stars too high.

I had no problem scheduling my appointment. Jeff answered all of my questions promptly whether it was via text or phone call.Jeff did a thorough assessment that I’m sure initiated as soon as I walked in. He discussed his findings and observation of my postural deficits and lifestyle that are likely contributing to my pain. He gave me recommendations for postural adjustments and work-related task modifications to address my pain. He’s a solid clinician that looks beyond the job-at-hand (massage).I must admit, this was the best, most physically beneficial massage that I’ve ever had. He targeting all of my problem-areas. It was absolutely amazing.Following the massage, Jeff pulled me aside and continued to educate me on stretch techniques to relieve my pain and postural deficits. This is unique to any massage experience that I’ve ever had. I’m usually sent off with the typical, “drink water”.I will definitely be seeing Jeff again.

Jeff takes time to discuss injury, goals, etc and addresses everything creatively and professionally. I’ve noticed major differences in my mobility and strength thanks to his body work and fitness suggestions. It’s also worth mentioning, it is hard to find a place in Charlotte that is welcoming to all, particularly queer folks, and this place is more than welcoming and accommodating. My partner and I will be back again and again.

I just scheduled my 4th massage with Jeff and could not be more satisfied with my experience here. Jeff listens to you and your body pain/aches. He genuinely cares about helping you by even providing advice for daily movements/stretches. I highly recommend especially with the online new client deal!

Unpleasant and unprofessional. Booking is a NIGHTMARE. note to business- rude, abrupt text messages with slang language from some rando is not a good practice. Please either hire someone who has the communication skills to book someone professionally or educate yourself of customer experience and how to schedule meetings.

Jeff tirelessly worked to relieve the pain in my quad and hips. I was not able to walk without pain and now can return to light yoga and weightlifting. He doesnt give up and always inquires as to whether his service is helping to be sure that hes on the right track.

I don’t know how they keep their business open. They do not answer their phone at any hour of the day. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!! Awful service. My boyfriend flew in from Texas for Valentine’s Day and I’ve been trying to get our massage appointment for a week now. Waste of money since this was prepaid. They definetly won’t last long. UPDATE: I finally got a response from the random number they said to “text” and I said “how do you book appointments?” His response “don’t call us again we aren’t interested in your rude behavior.” Not even kidding.. I’m appalled I don’t understand why this happened when I just wanted to book a massage. I hope people read the reviews before they buy.

My boyfriend of 2 years and I had a massage here last week and it was AMAZING. I was able to disclose with my therapist beforehand that I have tmj and carpal tunnel. She focused on those areas and it helped a lot! My boyfriend also disclosed his previously broken tailbone (2-3 years ago) and he has noticed a difference as well. We both felt so relaxed afterwards and it really helped that our massage therapists were all about communication during the process. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good massage.

Jeff and Theresa did not honor their third party contract through groupon.They advertised a ‘60 minute Couple’s Massage’ with champagne. My partner and I received NEITHER. We arrived 15 minutes early and they opened their door right at 4pm because they were in a previous session. they proceeded to take about 10minutes to check that couple out and shook our hands with incredibly greasy palms. Jeff even inquired ‘Aren’t my hands soft?!’ to which I responded ‘Sure.’ They started working on us at about 25 after 4 between speaking their disclaimer about being a ‘clinical’ place and having us change. They stopped in the middle for about 3-5minute to let my partner and I flip-over. A task that takes most adults less than 30seconds. When they came back, they rushed through our backs and stopped at 5:06.When they asked how our massage was, I was forthcoming in my dissatisfaction, to which Theresa responded with ‘Oh! Well we don’t clockwatch. But, we hope you got something out of what we did do.’We told her we did not.Also, we realized when we left that they never even offered us the champagne!Not worth the 110$.I will be working to get a refund for my champagne-less, 40 minute massage.go elsewhere!

I called 10 or more times to book an appointment over the course of several months and no one ever answered the phone. I left several messages and never received a call back. The atmosphere and people were very nice. The massage itself was good. However we paid for 1 hour couples massage. They were late to start and the massage itself only really lasted about 30-40 minutes so I did not feel like they really gave you what you paid for. I have had hour massages other places and they last closer to an hour. It was disappointing to say the least, likely wont go back there due to that.

I highly recommend scheduling a massage with Dell at Advanced Therapeutics. She is extremely knowledgeable and offered exercises that I can do at the office to take care of issues I am experiencing. If youre looking for a deep-tissue massage, I definitely recommend Jeff. He is very knowledgeable and will give you insight into whatever physical issues youre having and solutions to reduce or eliminate the problem. I have a hard time finding a therapist who uses enough pressure and he got it right! Ive seen the other reviews and, as with any small business, there can be some glitches in scheduling and such but please dont dismiss this place based on one experience. Ive been there a few times for yoga classes and its a great venue, a peaceful atmosphere that also has art for sale as well. A multi-functional space but its always a serene place.

We found this hidden gem through Groupon and are astounded by the quality and genuine people who run Advanced Therapeutics! We did their couples deep tissue massage and I have never had a better massage before. They listened to where I wanted to do the majority of work and I left feeling 10x better. They also have the $120 couples massage on their website daily which is SUCH A STEAL! The facilities are so cool and it really feels like a wellness center vs a spa. We could not be more pleased and are already looking forward to our next massage! Thank you for an amazing experience and fantastic customer service. We will be back asap!!

Found this place through Groupon I really wish I would have looked at the reviews on here before purchasing ...my fault ... this place, however, is not worth your money. We arrived 14 min late because per google, this place Is located across from where it actually is. We tried calling the place, but no one picked up.  Once we finally found the place, fair warning, they don’t have a sign or anything. Just a faded yoga banner next to the building, that I was not looking for since I was getting a massage. I feel like they could have stated that on the phone. Clearly based on other reviews, they’ve heard about this problem before. Upon entering we explained that google took us to the wrong place ... their response, “what’s google? We don’t use that. Our clients have never had this happen before!” I find that hard to believe since the Google reviews are horrible, and from the other reviews it seems that other people had the same problem finding the place. The guy that was there was extremely passive aggressive when talking to us (glad he wasn’t our masseuse). He created a tension in the room for sure. Clearly these people don’t own up to their faults, like maybe updating their location on google so potential customers don’t get lost?... or maybe actually answering the phone?... just a thought.... anyways the message as ok... In my opinion ....and by ok. I mean yea we got wine, yea we got a massage. Will I go back to them? HELL NO! Not worth it. I’ve gotten better deals and have been to different massage locations and this is not worth anyone’s time or money! Did we leave a good tip? Yes, because regardless, they did honor the Groupon and gave us the full hour ...  also did some research on Groupon and their reviews and surprise surprise.... someone that works there responded to a customer voicing their thoughts and opinion on their experience. Honestly, worst massage that Ive ever had. I felt like all I had was a glorified back rub. Absolutely no pressure was used even when I asked for it! The music was a Disney soundtrack and as a mom and preschool teacher, that is the last music I want to hear when trying to relax. Also since it was played through his phone, every time he received a text it came through the speakers. And last but not least the tip posters everywhere that suggested you should tip $20+. A tip should be for a job well done, not an excuse for an employer to ask for money to supplement their employees income.

I got the Groupon for the yoga classes. The classes are great. Class sizes were small, which meant that I was able to get more personal help from the instructors. (I have taken classes at another studio that is packed like sardines.) The facility is nice and in a central location for many people.The only complaint (why they did not get 5 stars) is that there is not a bathroom right in their space. They are part of an office building and the bathroom is shared with other businesses. If you do not sweat too much, this may not be much of a problem. Even their hot class could be more accurately considered as warm.

I contacted Advanced Therapeutics to see if they could address my pain/numbness in my arm. Jeff was great! When I arrived he walked me through the facility (atmosphere is very nice, relaxed, soothing). When talking with Jeff before our appointment he was able to identify where the pain/numbness could be stemming from, showing me the areas on diagrams. He couldnt of been more right! During the clinical massage he would check-in with me to make sure he was on the correct area which means a lot because it shows he is invested in helping my problem. After the massage, he demonstrated at-home stretches for me to do. Jeff is very professional, knowledgeable, and took his time with me. I felt so much relief just after 1 session. I look forward to going back again!

I WILL NEVER SUPPORT THEM. I love using Groupon to try out new places. I’ve found my wax lady there as well as my hair stylist. I continue to support them after my Groupon. It’s totally unfair for someone to advertise on Groupon and then treat those customers like they’re different from customers that don’t come through Groupon. If you don’t want Groupon customers don’t advertise there then! GeezBecause of their bad practices I refuse to even try them out through buying from their website.It’s impossible to book an appointment and they NEVER answer texts or any calls. I’ve tried a total of 5 times in one week.They have two different phone numbers, 1 for people that buy through them and 1 for people who use Groupon and looking at the reviews, they straight out ignore the Groupon line.DO NOT buy their Groupon, they will try their best to not honor it by just plain out ignoring you. But when you call twice, not even get a person answering and instead are left to leave a message and that message isnt even acknowledged? Thats unacceptable! Obviously reading all these other negative reviews goes to show you that they dont care about people with Groupons. I bought my Groupon April 19th, 2018 and have left a voicemail every other week including today. I can’t text the number the person said in previous review to do (doesn’t work). So disappointed of time and money wasted. I understand the high volume of packages purchased but it makes no sense returning voicemails? I’ll probably just show up in person on a random day to actually see if this is legit because this is probably the worst communication I’ve had from a business. I’ll probably contact the BBB... My dog communicates better than this company lol

Just had a fantastic couples massage with my husband for our wedding anniversary. *Best to book through their website directly. Found them on Groupon but went to their direct site to see if they had any other specials. Wound up having more options and same price so I bought direct thru their site. I called on a Tuesday in hopes of scheduling a couples massage for the coming Saturday. Texted the # that the voicemail machine gave- which I found extremely simple as opposed to leaving a message and waiting for a call back. Jeff texted back within 5 mins. (Texted around 5pm) I had no problem getting an appointment for Saturday as they had a loyalty spot open. They prioritize loyalty purchasers (aka direct site purchasers over Groupon purchasers) which I think makes plenty of sense as Groupon takes a fee of their profit. Most of the negative reviews for them are all based on booking issues from Groupon purchasers. Again, I had a seamless experience booking and getting an appointment. Jeff worked on my husband, who has a terrible back, he got a deep tissue massage which my husband said was awesome. Jeff worked out a ton of his knots and back pain. I got a Swedish massage which was absolutely fantastic and so relaxing. I would absolutely go back and highly recommend. Note- This is a WELLNESS center, not a run of the mill massage only business.

How can I receive a refund for this service? My son spent a great deal of money for full service for 2, they have the money, we cant get the service. Only reason I am making this is because I am hoping they will care more about their reviews than their phone calls and actually get a response from them. I bought a groupon about four-five months ago and have called about ten times to schedule an apt. It goes straight to a voicemail so how am I supposed to know you are even receiving my call. I paid $100 for a couples massage and there is NO way you have a “wait list” that lasts four months. My groupon expires in June!!! I want the massage I ALREADY PAID FOR.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I am not that great with yoga but absolutely love it. The yoga instructors are really great working with any pain or injury you might have. They are also just really fun!! I always leave feeling 10 times better!! Please dont judge it if you cant get ahold of them!! If you have a groupon just schedule your class online and show up. They also leave a number for you to text if you havent tried that! Once you start going here you wont want to go anywhere else.

DO NOT BUY A MASSAGE (OR GROUPON) HERE. I called the store 3 separate times and texted the number on their website multiple times with no reply. I had already paid for a couples massage so I was determined to get what I had paid for. I decided to leave work early one day to stop by the spa and schedule my massage in person so they couldnt ignore me. Online it says they are open until 9pm, but I stopped in at 4pm on a weekday and the entire place was locked up with no sign of anyone. I eventually had to go back to Groupon and get a return on my massages. So disappointing, I have warned people about this place and I will never buy a massage off of Groupon again.

Tried to schedule my couples massage over a period of two weeks. Tried calling, leaving voicemail, and text messages multiple times - never received a response. Tried the multiple phone numbers they had listed in the automated message. Even after Groupon allegedly reached out to them I still couldnt contact them. I normally dont do these reviews, however on the way there today I seen a lot of bad reviews. So after my experience I wanted to share. My husband and I got a couples massage groupon back in Feb. I forgot about it for a few months & then by the time I called to schedule (with our only availability being Saturdays) we had to wait about 2 months to get in. Which really sucked, but hey, its good for them that their getting that much business. We had a great experience. The lady that was there as soon as we opened the door was just as friendly as could be. I forget her name, but she is the owners wife/massage therapist. She is friendly and very pleasant to work with. And my husband loved her as his masseuse. They atmosphere was so relaxing, and they had it dim where it was just enough light to see exactly what you needed but to also just instantly feel relaxed. Our massage was a full hour long. I had a gentleman named Evan. He was great! I had some teeth pulled earlier this week and as soon as I informed them of this, they made sure to see I was comfortable. They even had to switch the massage around a little bit to make sure I would be comfortable. Ive never fallen asleep during a massage before, but I did this time and I even woke myself up snoring. I bet they got a crack out of that one lol. Sorry this is so long, but we had such a great experience and we will certainly be going back. I feel terrible for those who had a bad experience because (as I can see from a customers stand point, if it happened to me, I wouldnt be going back either) but from the generouristy that my husband and I was shown today plus the warm, inviting atmosphere and our GREAT massages, we will be returning and probably become known customers!! I have to say that this was one of the worst customer service experiences. I have tried for months to book my appointments without success. They have supplied a cell phone number for booking, of which I have NEVER gotten an answer or a call back after numerous voicemails. Additionally, they asked that we TEXT the number for appointment requests. While the texts were initially answered, they STILL did not confirm dates with me. There are MANY other places to spend your money for these types of serviced; I shouldnt have to beg people for my business.

I want to star off by saying I never write reviews, but I was so insulted and disrespected by a team member of this bussiness that I will be making sure everyone knows about this before they do bussiness with them. I bought a groupon for this place since they are located right across the street from my job. Unlikely the other people complaining about not being able to get an appointment, I received a phone call the day after I left a message from a nice lady, she asked me to text Jeffwho would be helping me with getting an appointment. I went ahead and text this person, introduced myself and let him know I was given his number to make an appointment. His response was Tuesday 12. I was surprissed by the unprofessional response, but went ahead and let him know that I needed another day. The following messages were not any better, so I politely let him know that I was calling back the main number and I thanked him for his time. Personally, I would not trust anyone that is that unprofessional to do any type of bussiness, especially a if it is a massage! His reply was so you dont want your spot. I let him know that I suggested he was more professional or have manners, at the very minimun, when dealing with CUSTOMERS, he then texted you need mental help. I reached out to a bussines and I get this treatment? What type of business is this? Needles to say, I am reporting this bussiness to the Better Business Bureau and to the North Carolina Board of Massage. There is no reason for someone who is spending money to buy services to be treated in such a disrespectful way. I gave this business a 1 star because I couldnt give them a 0! I would never recommend this business.

I suffered with knee pain and sciatica! The owner (Im sorry I dont recall his name), worked on my problem areas and to my surprise the pain I experienced was reduced 95%! I have tried injection, meds, heating pads, tens, tennis ball in a sock, my husband elbow, (those suffering with sciatica knows what Im talking about) tens unit and the list goes on After one visit Im sleeping at night Let me tell you, my husband is very happy also! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE**** I purchased a Groupon for a 60 Minute massage for $38. Upon visiting the website they request that (verbatim) Please purchase from our website. We will match any price we advertise on Groupon, Amazon and Living Social. In addition you will receive priority booking for your massage with no expiration date. So, I did as they requested (because I know Groupon takes a big cut of the payment and as a business owner was trying to be nice) but there was no option to pay the $38. I texted the number listed and they refused to honor the $38 and disputed the cost stating it was $45. I tried to go back to my Groupon but could not access it on my phone since it had been cancelled but I was able to screen shot their current promotion of $41 and sent it to the same number. The response received was that Groupon was offering the sale and that they will not honor that. I can purchase that Groupon but they would not schedule me for 3 weeks. I expressed my concern about what is posted on their website and the ethics and poor customer service by not honoring what they have printed on THEIR SITE and the response I received was OBVIOUSLY YOU ARE CHEAP AND WE REALLY DONT NEED YOUR BUSINESS PLEASE DONT CALL USNo problem.****Update**** the response received 5 months after my review cites the phone system for my experience??? Being told I was cheap and that they dont want my business was a phone issue? I think not. Maybe fire Jeff who is running all of your customers off with his beyond unprofessional communication and insults.

CANCELED MY APPOINTMENT 2 HOURS BEFORE SCHEDULEDIf they do not want to service Groupons then they should not sell them.Did not receive a call back after leaving message to make appointment. When I called back the woman who answered seemed annoyed that she had to make appointment. Making appointment took a very long time as I woman was writing down info, and didnt seem to hear very well. This made me a bit concerned as you would hope that a business who schedules appointments would be using a computer.2 hours before appointment I receive a text canceling appointment. When I called # that texted me, woman essentially shrugged her shoulders and said they had only one therapist scheduled, and nothing she can do.Groupons can be used as an introduction to your business. As a new resident to the city, and someone who gets massages frequently, I learned that I do not want your companys energy anywhere near my body.

I received the WORST massage of my life! I normally get one after a hard workout (at least 2 times a mo.). My normal massage therapist is traveling and I tried this place. They called it a Swedish Massage - but she spent more time rolling my muscles than going with the grain.After 2 showers with dawn soap my skin still feels oily. I could barely make it home because my steering wheel was so slick (after washing my hands 3 times!!). My clothes were stained with oil and I hope it comes out!They gave me grief because I did not tell them about the groupon coupon prior to making the appointment (I actually got the groupon AFTER I made the appointment when they said they were available).I know how Sherrilynn feels! I use Groupon to try new places. I am so glad I did not pay 150 dollars for that kind of service! To throw in my face that the therapist does not make much money on groupons is none of my business! If I go to a steakhouse with a groupon - I do not expect the smallest lowest cut of meat! Either they gave me a green therapist - or they just have extremely low standards for their therapist!!! I do not recommend this place to anyone if that is the way they do business!I am making it a point to share this experience with as many people as possible so they do not make the same mistake that I did! Get a referral and a named therapist before going going to a place like this!

Unfortunatley for the massage therapist, Kat, Im giving this place a terrible rating. Customer service from the OWNER was the worst. They texted me, wouldnt call me for an appointment. They did the same for my husband and it turns out they didnt even have him scheduled in the system for his! I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I can not comment on the service of the massage but I can on the customer service. I made an appointment for the evening of Saturday, May 18, 2013. My appointment was at 6:00 pm. I arrived early to make sure I found the place, when I came in a lady came to the desk I told her my name. She left back out, I sat there until 6:10 pm, I could hear people talking but NO ONE came out to say someone will be with you in a few minutes or anything! I had a living social groupon but it should not have made a difference! i also have worked in customer service for over 20 years and I found this appalling and rude!!

My boyfriend and I have called SEVERAL times and left messages. No one calls us back OR answers the phone. We have a groupon that we will be asking for a refund because the service is AWFUL. I always judge a place by first impressions. If I cant ever get in touch with someone to make an appointment then this is a place that simply does not care. Disappointed.
