Coonskin has the only skate park in Charleston. Plus, there are plenty of places to walk my dogs! My entire family hangs out at Coonskin!

Good place to skate, nice little compact skate park. But the name guys. The name needs to change.

It’s decent. It’s got nice ramps and people there, but the park is simply small. Stay there for about an hour and you’ll feel at least a little bit of boredom. It’s still a good place for learning how to skate though. But there are better skate parks in West Virginia...

For it being the only skatepark in Charleston left (to my knowledge), its extremely fun. Although it would be nice if park officials did something to keep parents from bringing their smaller kids to ride their bikes on the skate park. Ive waited around for people to leave the park and time and time again these little kids crash their bike on one of the slick ramps and get hurt. Two big quarter pipes. Two fun boxes. 2 levels of the park with about a 3.5 or 4 foot drop in to the lower level (or ride in down the ramp). Few kicker ramps and a rail. Not a bad park at all!
