Very nice place. Went here on my honeymoon and enjoyed it very much. Rooms were clean, staff was nice, all in all it was wonderful. Also it is located in a nice place with many restaurants and sights nearby. If youre looking for a nice place to stay then youve found it.
Nice hotel but in an area where college students partied. Staff did not consistently wear masks. House keeping never wore masks.
Beautiful new facility in a great location. Easy walks to several excellent restaurants and pubs, and two doors from the free bus location.The staff are friendly and helpful if you are looking to do things in the Charleston area.
Beautiful clean hotel and great staff but the dealbreaker is I have never been to a hotel that does not have a comforter on the bed. The bed only had two sheets to sleep under. We contacted the front desk and they sent blanket like the one that is used for the pull out sofa sleeper. I don’t understand a hotel not having blankets/comforters for the bed.The other issue is the bathroom light has a timer so if you like a long shower be prepared to be taking it in the dark. There was also no dish nor dishwasher soap which has been at every other Bluegreen property.It doesn’t matter how nice a hotel is, if you can’t cover the fundamentals all the other effort is pointless. 9000 points as an owner used and a Hampton Inn would have had a comforter.UPDATE- I always leave the do not disturb sign on the door for security especially while not in our room. Housekeeping knocked while opening the door with a do not disturb sign on the door. We didn’t even have time to answer before she was opening it. This hotel has the worse management we have seen after eights years.Update: we found kitchen trash bags and dish soap when packing, it was in the cabinet closet by the bathroom because that’s where kitchen stuff goes.
Staff is very friendly and tried to get to know us. Rooms are great. Like someone else said, ours has no exterior windows so a little weird, but it is a resort in the heart of downtown. I feel that they did a great job matching the heart of the area they are in.
We loved our stay here. Right on King Street so within walking distance of so many things. Room was lovely and we enjoyed the outdoor garden area as well. Great accommodation.
Loved the location, staff super helpful and friendly our room very well equipped. Lovely courtyard on 2nd floor. The parking and checkin were a nightmare for someone like us not familiar with how to get around the one way streets and close driveway to turn into the facility. I think the concierge should advise people ahead of time that they should pull into the loading zone out front at arrival.
Some odd rooms... Ours had no exterior windows. Ice machine only on certain floors. The TV was not fully visible from the bed. But overall a nice, clean, comfortable room
So far the resort has been very nice. The Charleston area is very expensive and calls for smaller rooms but besides that customer service is great. The only complaint that I have is every time I stay here the valet parking is full that is very annoying.

Right in the heart of Charlestons King Street shopping and dining district. You can literally walk out of the place to enjoy your day. Parking is a nightmare at times, but the staff and the hotel is awesome!!!

Free trolley provides access to Charlestons French Quarter/Battery/Market St. shops. Public parking located across the street is convenient when valet is full.

A pleasant resort location at the north end of the Charleston tourist district. The suites are roomy and well laid out (though more views would be nice, although impractical due to the location). King street is a fantastic strip right down through the heart of the Charleston peninsula with seemingly endless choices for good shopping, restaurants, and watering holes. This a a great spot from which to access it all.
Only thing that is odd: they have to have maintenance here to light the fire on the patio, and on the fireplace in your room, and maintenance leaves by 8. Everything else is pretty good, and we love the full kitchen in the room! Great location, and the feels very new and modern. Cant wait to come back!

Parking is bad.Valet at the hotel was helpful and makes the best of the situation! If you don’t want to valet there’s a garage across at the Hyatt.Location for us was awesome. But we don’t mind to walk - it’s good for you!!

The accommodations and staff are excellent. Being located on King Street, toss location would not be my 1st choice for next visit, there is an abundance of bars and restaurants. I prefer closer to the market. There is a free shuttle bus some totem which is great!
Super friendly check in. We were able to get in our room after we arrived from airport around 10am. Great location. The free Dash bus is adriatic from the entrance.

Great location on King Street right next to the free shuttle stop. The front desk staff (Alexis) is super friendly and helpful. The property has new everything, done nicely, and is clean and well kept. When we needed something, housekeeping was prompt and friendly. Only downside is the lack of a pool and hot tub.

My fiancée and I really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were brand new with high end finishes. The location is fantastic with easy access to the highway as well as downtown. The amount of restaurants, shops, and bars within walking distance is wonderful. The parking garage across the street is a nice place to leave a car if you’re traveling with one. The bike shop on the corner is another great option to get to the lower end of the peninsula. The view of the sunset from our bedroom and living room was another huge plus. They offer valet parking for $28 a day which was almost double the cost of the garage and the concierge will try to push a timeshare meeting on you. Overall, a wonderful place to stay.

The ladies at the counter when we first got here where very awesome. But when we came back from being out the night guard was very rude because we left our key in the room. We where asking him questions and he straight was annoying us very rude. Then he just sat there with his news paper. After a min or so I ask so how do I get a key it took him 25mins just to get him to let me in plus there was no balcony but a door if all the staff would have been great then if might have been great but being a OWNER I dont expect rude staff

Very nice facility.however I was there for my birthday and the front desk manager Alexis said that she would put a present in my room and how she loves to celebrate guest birthdays and when I comeback from my tour of the harbor I would have my present there waiting needless to say I came back from my tour and there is no present which was fine but very unprofessional. The most rediculas thing was being charged $75.67 for one night of parking and when I questioned the front desk about it they could not explain why it was 75+ dollars so I paid it and called back to ask the manager Alexis why I was charged so much for one night of parking in there parking deck. She went on to say I was charge a resort fee which is fine had I been told about it. All in all I had a nice time but I would suggest more training for the staff especially for the manager.

This is a timeshare place. Used our points to stay here. Booked the presidential suite. Everything was top of the line. Suite was on the road side of the building and heard the road noise very much. Bar at the corner plays load music untill late in the evening. Was told it is very bad on Friday and Saturday. No washer or dryers in any of the rooms. Said could go down to Lodge Alley In for that. For a brand new place they should of had more sound proofing.

This is a beautiful hotel, clean and modern. BUT it is around the corner from a bar that plays rock music at defening decibles. My earplugs didnt block it out. When I called the front desk, the attendant said the band plays until 2 am. I will never return.

Nice rooms, nice people, ok location, but no towels available after housekeeping leaves, and though the room was equipped with a dishwasher, they didnt have any dishwasher detergent, and when we asked for some, they gave us laundry soap instead.
$28 a night parking is definitely insane, and the WiFi does not work, I had to use my own data because never could get signal otherwise. One elevator didnt work but luckily it wasnt a busy weekend. The room is clean, smells good, modern looking, looks great and I love the shower except for the lack of water pressure. The woman at the front desk was really nice.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in their studio deluxe, and it was perfect for my family of four. My kids slept on the pullout couch, and I must say, the mattress was pretty comfy. The mattress my husband and I slept on was INCREDIBLE! I told my husband that I want that mattress for Christmas next year :-). So, back to the room, the kitchen had everything you would need to cook, but of course, we didnt because the food is just too good in Charleston. If you stay at King 583, you must try eating at the Daily, Leons Oysters, and Little Jacks which are all in walking distance (10 min. walk). The bathroom was clean and their toiletries are very nice. My kids prefer to take baths, but it was only a stand-up shower, but very spacious and the water was nice and hot. The room had a fire place, but we didnt use it. The rooms are great and clean! The people in the lobby werent always so friendly. Some times we were greeted, and but most of the time we were not. The house-keeper was pleasant every time I interacted with him, so I cant say anything negative about him. Oh, and rooms are not cleaned daily, but they will tell you that when you check-in. Lastly, park across the street at the parking garage at the Hyatt. Its a lot cheaper, and you truly will not use your car very much because there is so much to do and see in walking distance. All in all, a pretty good experience at King 583. I would definitely return to this hotel.

The place was nice but I found yellow stains all over my blanket and the floors were stained up a bit. Nice location. Cost 28$ a night to park which is just insane imo. We upgraded to this place instead of staying at theor other property. The other property was much cooler and old and historic feeling. This place is more modern.They have a Keurig in the lobby, went down one morning to get a coffee and they told me I had to go back to my room and get my own cup becaise they were out of cups for the coffee. For the price of the place, I think they could have run next door and bought some more to go cups. But hey, thats just me being picky. Front desk staff seemed to be ill or something as they tended to be laying their head on the desk a lot.The tv in the bedroom is super tiny, smallest I have ever seen in a hotel, but again, me being picky.All in all we had a good time and that is what matters.There is a live music venue somewhere close that is super loud but it got quiet around 11.
Great new resort. Theyre still working a few kinks out, but overall was very nice. Were a Bluegreen sub-owner, not sure of public availability. We parked in the public garage across the street and saved quite a bit of money. Nice location, though if youre walking back up King St lateish (11:00) on a weekend night, the streets are a mess with clubbers lined up waiting to get in the multiple bars and clubs on King St not far S of here. Not a problem, just a warning. :)
