Hazel Parker Playground is one of my favorite parks in Charleston. They have a full court basketball court, tennis court, baseball field, and cool swings and other items for kids to play on. There is on street parking close by and they even have one of those rare public restrooms south of Broad Street. They have plenty of shade during a hot day and water fountains for people and dogs. This park is awesome.

Clean and tucked away play spot for kids to enjoy! Walking distance to pineapple fountain. Shadey park with slides, swings and some other fun things to play with.. PARKING LOT IS LIMITED!!!

This is one of the best parks in the lower peninsula of downtown Charleston. The park has a tennis court, small basketball court, a baseball diamond, a clubhouse with several rooms for events like yoga, little kids playground, limited young kids play area, and a popular dog park with an open dog play area and a medium sized fenced-in dog run. There’s even public restrooms in the clubhouse with the entrance in the back next to the tennis court. Park along E. Bay St, S. Adgers Wharf, or Concord St. for 1 or 2 hr parking.

Lovely little park in downtown and only minutes from Los of great spots.

Talk about a hidden gem. This was such a nice surprise when we were walking around downtown. We only stopped in because we had to use the restroom. The restroom wasnt nice, but at least it was there. The park was totally hidden, but was big. Two different little playgrounds, a baseball field AND a dog park!!! Seriously great surprise!

Nice basketball half court with two rims, painted in red, white and blue. Bouncy play ground with monkey bar type deal and spinning pole stands. Tennis courts and dog park there as well. Beautiful area surrounding the park.

The grass needed to be mowed and there were several fire ant hills. If those maintenance issues are addressed, this could be a good neighborhood playground.

Great playground for preschoolers and its enclosed for safety. Also there is a convenient restroom located in the adjacent recreation center and a parking lot with about 6 spaces. Works well to take some plastic trucks for loading mulch chips.

Nice little playground that doubles as a dog park. There is a basketball court also adjacent.

Clean and convenient place near public restrooms.

Had three kids and tried to use the restroom in the middle of the day and they closed it however other people was going in and out, go figure. Will never return.

I love this park. It has a small fenced in playground (no pets allowed) with a swing set. There is an area for playing basketball and a baseball diamond. There is a fenced dog run area and a soccer field. But my FAVORITE part are the CLEAN bathrooms!! It is so hard to find free clean bathrooms downtown. It is usually open from 8 am to 8 pm (I think its 8am to 5 pm in the winter). There are 2 bathrooms, a cold drinking fountain and a security guard there to ward off the riff raff and she is sweet as pie! Last time I was there, she told me there is a toddler play area inside the building with toys and said it was free to use as long as the staff was there. Perfect activity for a rainy day! This location also has its own Pokestop.

You wouldnt know this park existed as its rather hidden. It only has a few things to do, such as a few random play ground items, but it also has a swing set and a jungle gym of sorts. There isnt high traffic and its quiet. If you need a break from sightseeing so the kids can get out some energy, check it out.

A little small by todays standards, but good for the 2-5 crowd. Swings and a couple of climbing areas.

Not much to play on but my kids thought it was okay. They loved the dog park and watching the dogs run around.
