I spent the better part of a decade performing in and taking classes in Doudna FAC. The faculty, staff and professors are top-tier, along with the rest of EIU! Dvorak Concert Hall is beautiful, and the mirrored walls and aesthetically exposed bones of Doudna make for a unique architectural feel throughout the building. Great practice rooms with constantly maintained pianos and stands. Several places for personal or group quiet study/hang out spots. Thanks for a great time here!

This is a little confusing to navigate your first time. Ive probably spent upwards of 100 hours in this building going to practices, performances, classes, summer camps, etc. If youre going for a performance or practice, go past the bathrooms, over the bridge, and to the room in the right corner next to the exit. Dvorak is the big mirrored place right in the middle of the building. If youre looking for practice rooms, their all in the basement.

Absolutely superb!!! My daughter and I visit as a prospective college for her studio art/graphic design degree.The tour guide gave us an overview and then the department head took us through every classroom and we met the instructors. We were very impressed with thegreenness of their art rooms.They have a very up to date and extremely good curriculum that rivals U of I.

Wonderful evening listening to the High School Honor Bands of Illinois as well as the EIU band. Very nice facility!
