We stopped in to try and find our first piece of art. They were very friendly and walked us through the various artists on display. Once we found a piece we liked they provided additional information about the artist. Overall great experience and will return for future pieces.

I have never seen a gallery like this before in Charleston!!! They have all local Charleston art. Everything is handcrafted right in Charleston. They have everything from jewelry, fashion, mixed media, sculptures, paintings and so much more!! This gallery is a MUST SEE in Charleston South Carolina. Each piece is so unique and eclectic. I stumbled apon this gem with my sister. As soon as we walked in my sister spotted a reckless she wanted and the girl behind the counter was instantly helpful...later to find out that she was actually the artist who made the reckless. I had traveled to Charleston for a wedding but wanted to buy things in this place because of how wonderful everythin was...the girl was so nice she set it up so me and my sister could get these beautiful prints shipped to our houses. If you are ever in the area check this place out i know Ill be back!!

Every single time Im on King Street, I love to pop in and see what is new at the Art Mecca! The artwork is always changing- one day I see black and white photographs, beaded purses and pottery and then the next day theres amazing handpainted clothing, surrealist paintings and furniture pieces. What I always look forward to seeing especially is the awesome jewelry made by the store owners. I have several Kelly Wenner Grossman and MacKenzie King Citro pieces that I absolutely love and wear on a daily basis. The prices are so reasonable for the quality you get. They also make great holiday gifts! I definitely recommend stopping by this art gallery for sure!
