We have stayed in the Cottages several times for group work meetings. It is like a cozy hotel. The common areas allowed our group to enjoy each others company and hang out while still having the privacy of a hotel with our individual rooms and bathrooms. Everything is well maintained and clean. The home atmosphere is great. It is like home away from home. It is also nice that there are no noisy elevators and neighbors as you would experience in a hotel stay. We always look forward to coming back each year.

This cottage was absolutely perfect for our venue and was more than adequately stocked. The location is beautiful, the rooms are elegant and the amenities exceeded my expectations. The cottage is very spacious which allowed us to congregate in the living room area as a group but could retire to our rooms as needed. It also has a conference room downstairs for meetings. We would love to return!!

Awesome house with unique, hotel-like rooms (mini-suites). Perfect for corporate retreats or multi-family stays. Everything you need and more (massage chair, corn hole, foosball table, etc.) included!

This was my third corporate meeting at the Inn at Governors Club. My team has grown to the point we take up two cottages now. Scheduling and planning is a breeze! Karen and her team are very responsive. The cottages are perfect for corporate or board retreats as each room has its own bathroom and security door, so you feel as if you have your own hotel room. The best part is the shared common space. Very roomy living room area to relax in the evening and chat with each other. Blue Ridge and Sandhills have built in board rooms that comfortably fit 12 attendees. They provide a projector and light/white board. There is a small kitchen downstairs to stock beverages for the meeting. All of this overlooking a beautiful golf course! My team will probably never let me go back to a hotel meeting environment as we are all now spoiled with these beautiful, well maintained cottages with a view.

The Inn is wonderful. The comfort and quiet is second to none. The beds are a dream. Very clean and up to date.I would recommend the Governors Club Inn to anyone that loves golf or has business or leisure time in Chapel Hill.

This is the third year in a row weve held our conference at The Inn at Governors Club. Ive had the pleasure of staying in both the Sandhills Cottage and the Blue Ridge Cottage - both equally comfortable, clean, and inviting. They are superior to a home away from home with all the comforts of home and WAY MORE; equip with up-to-date technology for corporate presentations, spacious common areas and kitchenettes for team building and entertaining, an incredible massage chair for down-time, breathtaking views of the golfcourse, and so much more. Id recommend this for your next corporate event.

I took a group of college women leaders here on an overnight retreat. They enjoyed being in a home, and the furnishings were comfortable and clean. Our host was flexible with our retreat time and checked in with us to make sure we had what we needed.

Great stay for our sales meeting week!

The cottages are near the clubhouse and are beautiful. Very nice place to stay and often you will have access to amenities of the club. Feels like home away from home.
