We rented the whole theater with one of their specials this October. It was an amazing experience for the kids. We got to pick the movies for up to 3 hours. The service was amazing.

We love Silverspot and the thought of supporting it through the pandemic has very much been on our minds, however we are beyond upset. We booked the private showing as a fun family event and a way to support Silverspot a few weeks ago in September and again last weekend. I emailed Megan Kline to set this up as she set up the first event but I did not get a reply from her. Instead I got a call from someone at the theater. This person told me the price, took my credit card and told me the time to show up. At the theater, they greeted us, showed us to our room and took our food orders. At no point in the process across Megan, the phone ticket salesman, the theater host, or the 2 severs did anyone point out that the process was now different than it was in September and that the fee did not count towards food even though just a few weeks ago it did. It was not until check out after we had just spent $170 on food, which was intentional to try to meet the $150 we paid for the room, that the server then told us that the process of the fee counting towards food was a promotion that was no longer available. The server didn’t actually even tell us, I had to specifically ask when the bill didn’t seem to account for our initial payment. $300 for a family night is not something we can comfortably afford and we absolutely would not have done this if someone had let us know up front. I understand that it was not the server’s fault so did not cause a scene at the theater but this is clearly an unacceptable communication fail and quite simply a bait and switch. I again emailed Megan Kline to express my concern and 1 week later have yet to receive any sort of reply. Unbelievable. To think that we were trying to support a local business makes it all the worse. I thought Silverspot was not like the other big theaters and would be more focused on customer service but apparently I was wrong. With the pandemic worsening in Triangle, alienating your customers is probably not a great idea but you have done that with me and I cant see myself returning.

This is the BEST all around movie theater I’ve ever been to in terms of amenities, cleanliness and comfort! The front row has double sofa seats where you can stretch out and relax, snuggle with a blanket, glass of wine and your honey, or lay your sleepy baby/toddler/child down for a nap while you enjoy the movie with some gourmet pizza, salads, sandwiches, gourmet entrees or standard popcorn, candy,hot dogs and delicious nachos (not the soggy cardboard junk with melted plastic cheese substitute theaters usually have and charge a fortune for!) You can order your food and drinks, even wine and good beer, in the lobby/food counter and go relax in the theater and the waitstaff will bring it to you as you enjoy the show! They have great, first run films. My daughter and I brought the grand babies ages 1 and 2 to see “Coco “ and totally enjoyed the movie while we were served our gourmet meal and wine and the kids had their delicious snacks and danced to the festive music and snuggled up with us when the boy gets stuck in the afterlife ! When they were tired we had tons of room to lay them down on the sofas for a nap! GREAT experience, wonderful memories!!Oh and I forgot to mention the sofa seats in the front row also have ottomans that you can rest your belongings on or stretch out with your family, friend, honey or child and lean back, put your feet up in the ottoman, have your treats delivered to you and REALLY ENJOY the movie !! You can buy your tickets and reserve your seats online, at a kiosk in the lobby or from the ticket counter! I just LOVE this place!! I wish I was there now instead of packing, cleaning and getting ready to move out of state! Maybe my daughter and I can go to a movie before we leave! I’m having foot surgery in June and would love to reward ourselves after all the hard work of moving and have lunch and wine with my surgical leg elevated on the ottoman!! SOUNDS LIKE HEAVEN to me!!!

This place is huge and cool. Great food options. Clean theater with newer comfortable, Large, seats. It was kind of hard to find because the sign doesn’t say theater on the outside it just says Silverspot . It is located on the right corner of the mall. You have to through the main entrance and go right.

I loved it! A friend had rented it for hers and her boyfriends birthday. We got to watch the movie we wanted and could stop it any time. Our food and drinks were delivered quickly with the exception of two dinners that were late due to a problem in the kitchen. We would definitely do it again!

BAD SERVICE, VERY EXPENSIVE, COLD FOOD. Very disappointing experience. To start, the bar was VERY slow. Took 30 minutes to get a mimosa, that was then very watered down because the ice had melted. Food was incorrect, cold, and took forever. Finally, renting a theater for a party is NOT A DEAL. Previously the deposit for the theater went towards the food, but it DOES NOT anymore. The theater is 150+ and food is very expensive. We were told on the phone that the deposit went towards food, and corporate changed the policy but we WERE NOT TOLD. So we walk out thinking we would owe maybe 30 dollars over the original deposit to find out it was an additional 190 dollars. We were then chastised for booking over the phone when the website didn’t work! Will never go there again!!

So it’s my mothers birthday so we wanted to rent out a room to watch a movie. We sent I the form 4 days in advance when It only required us to send it 2 days in advance. Then my mom gets an email saying that she needs to talk to someone else about this and not the person that the website said would need to know about. So she calls and emails this new person, she gets a response and is told she need to contact someone else. So she contacts them, and no response. It shouldn’t be this hard to rent out a room. If we needed to get in touch with someone that should’ve been the person that the website said we should contact. But I then I finally decided to contact them jus ton the phone. I called once for questions and no response. I called again for events and no response. I called during their office hours. And it wasn’t just a one time thing. My mom tried to and no response. If you’re running a business you should respond to your customers. I can forgive them not answering 1 day but 2 in a row?! Not to mention their voicemail box was full probably from complaints. All I’m saying is that we did everything we could to rent out a room but the cinema just seemed like it didn’t want us to come.

So grateful for this place. Quality food. Quality people. Quality viewing accommodations

Absolutely the single BEST cinema in the Triangle area. Great dining, brilliant theatres, and fabulous staff. Every experience I’ve ever had at SILVERSPOT has 100% reinforced the belief that their cinema is the number one premium theatre experience in the area. Combined with its proximity to Stoney River and Bartaco, it’s unbelievably easy to cue up a simple and fun evening (Pre-COVID). SILVERSPOT has also adapted to the pandemic to continue to provide entertainment experiences for the public that are safe, fun, and convenient. They take safety seriously! Cleanliness is key.

Great food and great movie experience with comfy seats. Only wish the seats would recline like other dine in theaters.

We love this place. Its our go to theater in the Triangle, other than the Raleigh Grande and Carolina Theater, which are also good.Their prices are higher, but you get what you pay for. Their seats dont recline, but are super comfy. And, if you like immersing yourself by sitting in the front row (which has more space from normal here), they have ottomans to put your feet up.The menu is very good, from drinks to food. Their popcorn is also much better than Cinemark or AMC. They also have great topings to the side of concessions to top your popcorn. We came back when they opened after the Covid closure - they were a little flustered, but understandable since was opening day again.If youre a film buff, we like it here because their screens and sound system are the best around. But, even if watching a smaller or indie film, they often show Oscar contenders or other international films you dont see elsewhere.If you want to be a regular, sign up for their card -- its free. Just a membership card with an app or email. (You can also do a premium card that costs, I think $20 a yr and gives you 50% more reward points. Or, you can qualify automatically from the basic card if youre a regular). But, if you join the free one, every 10th ticket is free. And the points add up fast for free popcorn, etc. So, is worth it!And, theyre always friendly. Their food menu is limited during COVID, but full bar is still open, including $5 happy hours right now most days. And many tasty options still, from salads to burgers (including veggie burgers) to appetizers, even with reduced menu.Wed highly recommend and wish them the best to stay open during a challenging time.

This is a nice theater with some modern features like seat-side food service and (non-reclining) leather seats. Its also the most expensive theater Ive ever been to: $12 for a matinee, $15 for a standard ticket. Its definitely a better experience than some theaters, but there are better ones nearby that dont charge such a steep premium. I doubt Ill return, its too expensive and they have not done enough to justify the pricing.

Silverspot is amazing! the seats are very comfortable and there is very nice service. They bring your drinks and food to you in the theater if you ordered something. The bathrooms are always clean. Definitely worth my money and time!

A dark room. Warm butter on your popcorn. A few key presses on your phone and a hot plate of chicken nachos suddenly appears at your reserved seat. The floors aren’t sticky like at the theater up the street, and the A/C blows strong. A good place for a movie.

Love this movie theater. The large theaters in here are comfortable and nice seats. The best part is that this theater has smaller theaters that sit just 25 or so. I love coming here to watch the older movies and special screenings! The food is always well made! Youve made a film buff very happy!

Updated Review: after the review below, I was called by a manager. He listened to my challenges and was earnestly apologetic for the bad service. He went a step further and sent me movie passes and a gift card so we could have a chance at a second experience with Silver Spot. I appreciated this because as parents of little ones we try to make the most of our dates and our first date felt like a very expensive let down. I can’t wait to return and have a better experience! Thank you Silver Spot!Old review below.So.... we paid a lot of money for a cheese and charcuterie board ($19) and it was super disappointing. Not worth it at all. The Lobster lettuce wraps were tasty.The service was mediocre. The staff was kind but slightly incompetent when it came to placing an order.

Went to a met opera showing tonight. Truly a wonderful experience. What a great venue and staff. The wine and cheese offering is a nice touch. Bravo management. Its the little things like that which count. I will do this again.

Had a great time here seeing Frozen 2 with my little cousin! We loved it! Staff was super friendly and one of them took a photo for me of us. We might come back to see the movie again next weekend!

I love this movie theater. The popcorn is cheaper and better than AMC, and the seats are more comfortable. Its really clean and gives student discounts. Best theater in the Triangle in my opinion.

We went mid day and mid week. Nice staff, great seats. Sound system was just right. Good parking. Really good parking.

This is the future. What all movie theaters should be. Large, extremely comfortable seating. You can order tickets and reserve your seat ahead of time. There is so much legroom. The front row even has ottomans that you can literally stretch out on. The front row is actually really comfortable and far enough from the screen that you arent looking straight up. You can purchase beer and wine and take them in while you watch your movie. The concession choices are well above standard. Itll be hard to go back to a normal theater once you try it. Prices are in the $10-13 dollar range per ticket depending on show times. Well worth it, especially for popular premieres. With reserved seating theres no need to show up early and wait in lines.

First off I want to start of my saying the whole staff at this movie theatre is awesome from the mangers, guest services, the event coordinator Megan and all the staff went over and beyond for my family this weekend. I called in a few months ago to help my nephew plan and engagement (proposal) they was super thrilled to help me plan it and pull it together for him. This weekend they did just that. Megan went over the top for us by making it happen just the way we wanted and then some. They let us play video clip on there big screen during the previews for my nephew to pop the big question. I mean it was amazing how it flowed in like a preview. It was other people in the movies theatre but they were excited and cheering just as much as we were. If you want to plan any event at this theatre they will meet your expectations and more. I’m not from chapel nor do I leave anywhere close but they have have gained my business when I’m on town visiting. Never the less the best darn proposal ideal ever to have your memories played on a screen with the person you loved and to be with now and forever. 5 stars and more for me. Thanks again Silverspot

Our food and drinks never came while watching the movie. My friends and I was very disappointed but we spoke to Megan who was very understanding and helpful. She refunded us and made sure we was taken care of. We really appreciate her for turning our night around after not receiving our stuff.

Variety of movies!! Great food, pricey but of great quality. The cinema is always presentable and clean. The staff are kind and always professional each time I go. There is never a drop in standard, same experience when i go. I drive an hour just to be able to experience a comfy comfortable movie environment. They also allow you to collect points on your movie purchase and host special movie events.

Nice atmosphere, service to your seats, comfortable seats, only thing I found not satisfying was the cost of food but thats every theater huh?!?!?!

Love this place. Love selecting my seat. Love the convenience of food delivery. Hate that the pictures on the app dont match what you receive and management argues with you about it. Example: kids mozzarella sticks have fries in the pic but doesnt come with fries in real life. App needs updating or management should honor what they present on the app.

My boyfriend and I come here to watch new movies often. We watched Gretel and Hansel this time around. I really enjoyed the nachos and the service was great too. Bathrooms are clean which is important. Popcorn is pretty yummy as well.

I had hip surgery 2 months ago so its hard to sit for long periods of time but the seats are so comfortable it didnt bother me. Its also so nice to be watching a movie and have great food brought to my seat.

Love the seating layout, projection and HVAC is good. What movie theater doesnt charge too much for food and drink? None of them, but at least that food and drink are good. Way better than being packed in like sardines at the mega theaters.

I love this place for going to the movies with out the kids. Definitely a date night movie theater. Each seat is a plush seat and the ones on the front rows have ottomans. Tickets for adults in the evening is $14, however its worth it because they will bring your meal to you at your seat and the seats are assigned, so thats PERFECT! Youve already got your own seat youve chosen so no one should be occupying your seat

Big comfy seats are almost too slouchy, a little too deep for my shorter wife. Otherwise a great venue with nice staff. They clean each theater after every show.

Great atmosphere. Food is quite pricey for the money, but, its a movie theater, almost to be expected. The chicken breast for the chicken sandwich I ordered only would have covered 1/2 of the sandwich. Contemporary appearing theater, helpful and courteous staff!

Best place for movies, food and entertainment. However, the expensive cost of all they offer makes going usually a rare occasion. Hence only 4 stars!

Beautiful place.. beautiful decor. Big plush comfortable seats. It is a bit pricey but its worth it for the beauty, cleanliness and friendliness of the employees ( shout out to all of the refreshment staff especially Tyler..they are all amazing). Definitely check them out if you are in the mood for an upscale movie experience or would like dinner and a drink with your movie.

Beautiful Cinema! The entrance is very clean, the movie selection process is easy and fast. The employees are super nice and welcoming, the food is fantastic, and the actual theaters are clean and super comfortable! The bathrooms are high-end and always clean and fully stocked. The prices are a bit higher than other places, but it is completely worth the extra money for the luxurious experience. Amazing place

The best movie going experience! We love the flat bread pizza, popcorn, and chicken tenders with french fries. All food and snacks are broke to your seat. Extra leg room, even when a person has to walk by. I love going with my sons, you will definitely enjoy it.

I love this movie theater and come here weekly. Comfortable seating, great popcorn, great selection. I used to love the pretzel bites and ordered them to the point that they knew my order before I placed it. A couple of months ago they changed them and now they are disgusting. Fantastic movie theater. I do not go anywhere else to watch movies. Where else can you order snacks and a beer from your reserved, spacious, and comfortable seat?

So let me start out with this review is gonna be very in depth and very genuine. I came set to silver spot for the 1st time last night. The decore its self wowed me out of any genre that I have ever been in to any other theater the comforter ability of the seats that were met by the decor was absolutely stunning. The service that I received was honestly 5050 But let me say once I brought this attention to management in a very respectful manner I received exceptional service. I was not rude whenever I walked up to management saying an issue that I had at well some points in the evening and I already felt bad for contacting someone though late in the evening seeing as they were ready to go home. The movie was Over at about 12:40 at night. I walked up to the manager Kyle Just to explain a few of the things that I thought could have been better in the experience. Went to see end game and it was great! When I had told staff what was wrong with my visit they fully compensated my entire night and were nothing but kind to me! I will be returning!!! Also I want to thank Meghan and Jonathan so much for really sitting down and making sure I was happy with my visit! This place is highly recommended by me!

Highly recommended. The nicest movie theater Ive ever been to. Pleasant staff, reserved seating, you can order food to your seat through their app or the snack counter. Very clean bathrooms and theaters. Leather armchairs with cup holders and swinging trays for food and beverages. First row of seats have footrests for lounging.

Cost is a bit much for food. Two beers and two flat breads came to over $40, and didnt taste that great. Seats are sort of comfortable, but Im 61 and could not sit still for very long without having adjust. There just isnt enough back support.

Very nice theater, always clean. Some of the staff seem extremely disinterested in customers which is a bit of a turn off but Im sure their jobs can be difficult dealing with the public. One time a girl got arrested during the climax of the movie I was viewing which was quite loud and bothersome but they immediately gave me a pass for a free film due to the interruption. Highly recommend

Today is my Mothers 75th birthday and as a treat, I took her to Silverspot for the first time. Many of my coworkers have already been to this theater and have good things to say about this place. I have to say our overall experience is pretty positive as well. The young man who took our order, Pel, was very personable and brought our order to our seats in just a few minutes. The food was good. Pricey but good. Definitely would come back.

Upscale for sure! Very nice! A bit pricey. Two tickets, two meals, bring about $80 bucks.

Great cinema. Customer service is good. The hallways to the rooms are decorated beautifully with upcoming movies.You can order food from your seat during previews and they even have those popcorn buckets with the movie decorated on it. I got a captain marvel one for example and its great quality. I can reuse it.

Luxury viewing for big-screen new movies, and classics. Pricey, but they take movies and movie-going very seriously. A welcome cultural asset.

The seating is comfortable and scanning tickets is a very easy process once you enter. The lines, even when crowded, do not take too long to serve you. Seats are conveniently labeled and workers offer to have you order food from your seat and bring it to you. Highly recommend.

Imagine you go to a restaurant and the never clean the tables, seats, etc. This is what this place looks like. Filthy. Dirty. Seats full of popcorn. Cup holders dirty of food. Arm rests look like my sink after dinner. Etc.You might like having food when watching a movie, but you are having everybody’s food from the people that used the seat before you.Please clean the place! Thanks.

Im a little too poor to go here on the regular, but it truly is a superior movie experience.

I love Silverspot. So beautiful and elegant. More pricey than theatres close by, thats for sure. Some of the food isnt all that good but they have a bar and other goodies. Definitely the fanciest theatre in town. And the seats are nice and spacious. I would recommend this for a romantic date night for sure.

Forces you to watch ads before the movie. If you purchased (expensive) movie tickets for an 8pm showing, expect to see ads for the first 10 minutes. Comfy seats though.

A wonderful afternoon for two [email protected] was in town visiting a friend and we came here on weekday to do a double feature of (the unfairly maligned) Cats and Frozen 2. The theaters are great with roomy and super comfortable chairs. The staff was the most attentive and engaged I’ve encountered at a movie theater. Amazing customer service compared with the average cineplex.And most importantly - and the reason we chose SilverSpot - the adult beverages: I was totally surprised and very impressed. I expected a weak and inferior cocktail at an overinflated price. No so! Not at all! We had a carafe of pineapple mojitos with Cats. It was delicious and a “real” cocktail. $32 for a carafe of GOOD mojitos delivered to your seat is completely fair given the expected movie theater mark up. In fact we had a carafe of the mango during Frozen 2 as well - delicious. (Uber home, of course.)An all around great experience! Exceeded expectations and we already have plans to return when I come back in March for another lovely afternoon and to try the blackberry mojitos!

Love this theater!Recently took the kids to see Captain Marvel, my daughter was so excited she was shaking. When we went to the concession stand it was only $2 to upgrade to the “collectors” cup! Total with two large drinks and large popcorn under $25! The employees behind the counter let my daughter pick out the character that went on top of the cup, they made what already was a special day, for my daughter, one that she still talks about weeks later! Thank you!

Megan (manager) Jarrid and Thomas (staff) were truly amazing. They went above and beyond to help us when we made a mistake ordering tickets. Although it was entirely our fault in ordering the wrong theater, they were able to get us tickets to the right theater just in time for my boys to see a movie they had been dying to see. We are loyal Silverspot members and will continue to be so with this great support. Thank you!!

We are here visiting out of town and I was surprised how nice it was. I loved as soon as you walk in you van purchase your tickets at the kiosk. You can download the app and pick whatever you want to eat and they will deliver it to your seat. It wonderful place to go the movies , seats comfortable. Really big inside. Also a lot of restaurants around it too.

Ummm love, love, and one more, or maybe more love this place! Been coming here faithfuly since we moved to the area a year ago.... And today, we used 2 gift cards and paid for one ticket. The total was 38 and some change, we were running late, I gave them 40$s and told them to keep it.... While watching our movie, the delivered me 30s and 75 cents, plus another free movie! Because we all forgot I was only paying for 1 ticket! Super honest staff.. Love them

Very contemporary vibe. Bathrooms are clean and look much like the type of bathroom you may find in a club. They serve food and drinks (alcoholic drinks also) to your seat. The only drawback for me is that the seats in the theatre I was in werent reclining seats. Otherwise, nice place.

Looking a little rough for a newer upscale movie theater.Great location and nice bar area. Big comfortable seats were a plus for the average movie goer. Online / web reservations were fine. If I had known the site better I could have reserved my tickets quickly. So . . .It may be just me venting here about previews and overall conditions. After 22 minutes of trailers and previews we got to the movie short. Wait, the movie short . . . As in not what I paid for. Sure it was a cute movie short but if I were 9 and hadn’t seen anything incredible in say 15 minutes I would be loosing my attention span fast. I lost track after 8 movie previews . . . On with the show please!This is an upscale movie theater. There were some dirty spots around and while I did see cleaning supplies after the movie at a trash can, one begins to think the cleaning job is a little too quick and may miss some details that the customer would see. For example trays and cup holders. Personally have seen $1 and $2 theaters who do a better job with house keeping with an aged facility.

Fresh popcorn and super comfortable seats. And the staff is always courteous and accommodating. Silverspot never disappoints.

Pricey. Seats were ok but didnt recline. Had the bacon cheeseburger combo (with mediocre fries and a medium drink) for just under $20. Also, if you get chilled easily be sure to bring a sweater-- it was cold in the theater. I wont go out of my way to to see a movie there if I have other options.

A good experience with some caveats. The seating and theater quality are great, the seats are individual reclining couch seats that are spacious and extremely comfy with enough room to put up your feet and hold all your food and drinks. That said, the price of food here is definitely not worth it, they hike the prices up 2-3 dollars higher than your average theater. Its even more expensive than amc... I personally dont find that the seating (which Ill admit was top of the line) enhances the film experience that much. Still if youre aiming for a comfortable experience after having eaten a meal elsewhere, this is a good spot to go to.

The best theater Ive ever been to. Ive been a dedicated patron since I first went opening night for The Force Awakens. Even on a packed night, the service was excellent, and the convenience of selecting your seat ahead of time means no waiting in line.The chairs are plush, and the food is actually well worth your time. This is the only place for movie-lovers in the area.
