Its hard to find large open areas like this where I live. Its an incredibly peaceful and been one of the most enjoyable times Ive spend in a nature. Hours of walking to be had, scenic streams and paths, perfect way to spend a few hours if not longer. In a world dominated by concrete and wall to wall houses areas like this are truly special.
This is a trail behind an apartment complex. Hard to find a spot to get to the trail and it’s not worth it. Trash everywhere and lots of debris... like old bikes and random pieces of metal. Also broken glass. I experienced a fowl smell, like sewage not a dead animal. There is a paved portion if you can find it, that could be good for a quick walk for your dog if needed. Paved area is near “Burger Shack” up on the main road.
Twice tried to reach this park. Twice cant figure out how the heck to reach. No signs. Google Maps is useless unless you want to visit the dead end of a parking lot. All I can figure is that residents of the private apartment complex and private Mosque grounds know the secret entrance and its basically their private park. In any case if its managed by the city or county they are doing an awful job making it publicly known and accessible. Dont waste your time and god to Eleanor C Lawrence park, at least the public is welcome to that one.
Good for taking a walk
Nice to enjoy falls.
Googled the location. The directions took us to through and to the back of an industrial parking lot. There was no park entrance we could find. No signage in the area, thus we could not find and enjoy said park.
Peaceful place to enjoy
Huge variety of plants and lots of greenery
One way to reconnect with nature is by visiting the place, you can do a short walk, jogging, biking and even a picnic with your family.
