The scenery of the boats, barges, and birds provide a colorful playground for artists and photographers. The little ones enjoyed the play area that offered lots of activities. They were also delighted with the steep, green, grassy hill that they ran up and down many times.

Nice place to picnic and there is a playground. No fishing or swimming.

Very disappointed in this place. It used to be my favorite go to place to unwind and look at the water. You cant even go down to the water, the park area is closed and the tugboats have pretty much taken over the entire area. Its just not a beautiful place to go anymore.

I dont hate it but I dont feel it and the surrounding area isnt safe from the run off and snagging area from when the plant blew up. I did not see much cleaning of the grounds ar ound and I live on 2nd st. And saw a lot going on. My kids dont go there.

This park used to be a nice place until they polluted the water. No fishing No crabbing. Cant even sit here and enjoy the view anymore due to all the damn barges and tugboats.

Beautiful place to sit in your car by the water. It is clean and well kept up. I was also so thankful to see that the playground has opened back up.

I know its a nice park to bring your children . I have brought my children there before. There is a playground for the kids, and also a great place to have a picnic!

More so of a walking experience or hangout/picnic time.Seems like you cant really fish there. Unhealthy fish or something. They have signs that warn you about the fish and all...

Clean , stuff for kids , i like to just come park and watch the water. No more fishing or crabbing here but that’s ok now not so many people.

Well-maintained park. Im terms of cleanliness, theres hardly any trash left. Most pick up at themselves. Convenient parking spots. Small trails to enjoy a small walk. Used to be a good fishing spot before Harvey. Now its a place to come get a good view of the water. Quiet and friendly.

Nice place to bring kids to they play ground. But we have fond memories of fishing here just for fun. Catch and release due to the yucky water but its been taken over by tugboat and barges. So yea just a playground now

I just went to have a game of soccer, it was the best. Theres a pretty good play area and lots of grass space. Recommend to go if you have children and there is even tables where you could eat and there is lights at 7pm-12 am. There is a roofed place where you can have partys with lots of seats for plenty of people. The reason Im not giving it a 5 star is because theres a river but it doesnt look that good.

Its about as good as a Channelview park can get. Its got a really good childrens play space with slides, swings, fort and ramps with Ultra soft and flexible artificial turf. Also has a walking trail, plenty of tables, boat ramp, fishing and portable restrooms. And a beautiful view of the ship channel and tons of tugboats and barges and occasionally a ship passing

Nice clean park with access to water, the only thing that concerned me was the growling stray dog with her pup hiding under the toddler slide.

Its a great place to take your kids because of the great playground equipment and the awsome veiw of the sea and the boats that pass by. Also, something to mention they should try and put a fence around the area where wondering kids could fall into water.

The water is toxic due to the tug boats that moore there.

I used to go to this place when I was young with my grandparents..it brings up such fond memories...I only dislike how no one may fish there now due to polutited waters.

Nice little park. If one launchs from the boat ramp they should be aware that it can be shallow and one may bottom out. It is mostly mud and one may push through with their boat.

This is a small, cozy park off the ship channel in Channelview. It is very dark once the sun goes down as there isnt much lighting. It is patrolled by the sheriffs department and the constable regularly.

4/30/19 Park was closed! Could not see why lots of construction down the way - dont know if that was the reason or high toxicity in the water? Only the county knows!

Got a cool View and its usually got a nice breeze and it has a porta potty close by plenty of places to walk or sit in the shade

Nice family park to go to. Good for fishing but it is located close to the marine industry in the area.

Wondering place to play

Great park for small children. Has a boat launch with truck and trailer parking as well. The fishing is mediocre though from the bank though.

The park is very clean, very nice play grown also has. B.B.Q pits, a bout ramp and a lot of parking.

My kiddos love this park! Great for all kids, even wheelchair accessable ramp built into play ground. Also coverd to shade from sun. Theres a boat playset for young kids, and slides. Swings. Lots of open Space to run around. Bring mosquito replellent!
