Every year for my birthday I try out different haunts. I’ve been to multiple in several different states and it’s something I look forward to every year. This year we landed on Houston Terror Dome. The different rooms and scenes were pretty well done, and the actors did a great job too. Make up was well done and I did enjoy it, it was just so short. It took MAYBE 10 min to get through, so that was a big disappointment for me. I’m not a runner or fast walker either because I love the experience and really like to look around so that wasn’t the case at all. Especially with the ticket price I expected a bit longer! We paid $44 for just my husband and myself and that was with a 3 dollar off coupon too. That didn’t even include anything but the haunted house itself. I was expecting it to be a shorter haunt from the other reviews, but wasn’t expecting that short. This haunt should be maybe $15 a person. We decided on going here because of so many reviews saying that there was something in this haunt that was awesome and that even for a short haunt it was worth it. They said that it was unique and something they’ve never seen before. I’m not sure what that something was, but there wasn’t anything different or unique from any other haunt I’ve ever been to. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing, just that I went in expecting to see something different. I’d say that this place is perfect for maybe older kids and families or someone experiencing a haunt for the first time.

We went opening night 2020... the DJ is great. Before entry they did a temperature check and sprayed your hands with hand sanitizer. The haunted house itself is awesome and family friendly! Lots of space to move around and the decorations are great! I especially liked the oversized puppeteer props! Once outside, you can hang out some more. Play games, enjoy the music, and go into the Halloween store. Great job everyone! We would definitely come back!

Great family atmosphere. The detail of the haunted house is great. You can tell the owner really cares about community and making it fun. Loved the paintball as well. If you haven’t gone make sure you do and tell all of your friends and family to go.

The actors were great! They also had no problem posing for pictures with us. We were one of the first groups so social distance was enforced, but as the night went on people waiting in line didnt care. Parking was not an issue. Overall, this was a great experience; especially for a soft open in September.

VIP tickets are worth the price. Comparably the line shortens faster. The music and effects on the waiting line is entertaining. The house has multiple themes and one of coolest effects. It was not ordinary Haunted house that I was thinking of. Wish it was bit longer. Even though when I am inside I wanted to get out as soon as possible.

The costume detail was amazing!! I loved the whole experience. The employees are very nice and the haunted house is very detailed. Definitely would go back!!!

They could have implemented better safety measures for covid. No social distance was present. Haunted house it self was good but lacked enough experienced scares.

Best Haunted House in Houston & I Have Been To Almost All of them! Has both great special effects & straight up Old School scare the hell out You! They have a great D.J. while you wait in line! Houston Terror Dome is where to Go!

Their female clown the (happy glow in dark faced one) who works the line. Her customer service was very unprofessional. She had attitude. Me and my family had a wonderful time. Very fun experience. COVID precautions were in place and the characters were amazing. The haunted house is atkeast a 10 to 12 min walk depending on your pace but every room is has its own surprises. Did not disappoint. We went on the discount night and so no complaints about the wait. We were able to go inside within mins. Very pleased

The paintball is awesome and the floors inside the haunt are super cool. Best haunt ever

Update: we waited 2.5 hrs total for about 7mins of haunted house albeit it is halloween. It wasnt worth the wait or the price in the end but there is something really neat in there that Ive never seen before which I can appreciate. Definitely not that scary but neat. Id take kids/family to this one its pretty tame in my opinion....Havent even gone in yet and Im already worried itll be disappointing. Young kids here, no one screaming bloody murder. Its supposed to be one of the scariest haunted houses but so far I am not impressed. Hardly any scary actors scaring people outside. Just a couple clowns and cute monster things. Theres a DJ but the lines are so long. Weve been waiting an hour and not even halfway through yet. Also, no one is social distancing we are all packed in line like sardines so covid precautions are bull. We are so close together we might as well not be wearing masks.

It was one of the BESTTTTTT haunted houses that I have ever been too!! Everyone was so nice and caring!! I would definitely recommend to go here!️️

Only two stars because the actors outside were really funny lol. That was the best part, waiting in line... sadly the actual haunted house was SOOOOOOOOO short and not scary at all. It seemed like half of the actors still werent in character and it was too expensive for the amount of time spent in there. Definitely less than 10 mins long.

This place has one haunted house and thats it ONE, UNO, UN anyways you pay 25$ for a 10 mn scare. Its filled with teens and annoying kids that would ruin ur experience.

The actors were very into character!! Proper COVID regulations were in place, for a smaller venue it was very impressive!!

First time going here. It was super fun and had me with unexpected thrills practically around each corner! Creepo was super cool with the lines, made time go by a lot faster and worth it.

Went for the first time 9/28/19 opening night, and it was so worth it!!! The overall atmosphere with all character monsters was energetic. The attention to detail and scenery was great. Their set ups are so cute and spooky! The owner is so kind too. Although the haunted house was a little short, I LOVED IT. One of my favorites because of how interactive it was compared to others, and how cool looking the monsters and everything else was!! ️

I just went 10/5/19 and I absolutely LOVED this experience. The staff were SUPER friendly and the place looks super COOL and SCARY at the same time. I love that its super family oriented as well. The neon 3D rooms and the swamp looks super great and real!!! Would rate it ten stars if I could. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND if you want to go with your family and kids and have an awesome time!!

They had some of the coolest effects Ive ever seen in a haunted house!! The people were the perfect amount of scary as well. My boyfriend, friends and I all dressed up in costumes and all of the workers were complimenting us! They were funny if you joked with them too! Awesome haunted house totally worth it!

Wonderful place!!! If you want to have the best experience there, be sure to get there 20-30 minutes before 8:00pm. Youll have to wait a little but itll be worth it once youre in front of the line instead of waiting a longer line. I did this my first time and had a great experience!! Also, there is a section where its a tight space for anyone whose claustrophobic but dont let that stop you from going unless youre extremely claustrophobic.

Staff is awesome haunted house creepy, scary, one of the best Ive been thru. Will be back again next year for sure!! If you like a good scare... check it out! I definitely recommend the terror dome!!

Hands down one of my favorite haunted houses! So worth the wait in line and the money. They have snacks for sale in case you get hungry so that’s nice! The people scaring you can’t touch you and you can’t touch them but they do get close to you and they look so real and so scary.

Great. Has something for everyone. Has exits right after sections so if you have issues with strobe lights or foggers you can leave right before that part and still enjoy the bits before. Had one part Ive never seen in any other haunted houses so that was awesome (not gonna spoil it ;p)The only problem was parking (you have to park in a field then cross a street) other than that perfect.

This place was top tier, I went with my friends 10/25/19 and I had so much fun besides the fact I was scared through the haunted house. The make-up and effects were 10/10 and the “freaks” were top notch. So much I could say about this place, but you have to experience it!

I took my kids here tonite 11/1/19...Topnotch customer service....nice staff...we screamed from beginning to end...great job. One more night left....I suggest you try it out. Keep in mind this is a smaller attraction but very fun.So worth the money!!

Paid too much money to not get scared...

We visited on 10/19/19 and we had so much fun. Free parking and great entertainment while waiting. The staff was scary and funny. The groups are spaced out for the most screams possible. Overall no complaints from us. We will be back every year!

So, Ill be 100% honest. Im hard to scare so this place didnt frighten me. But, we went to Phobia right after this place and TERROR DOME was SO MUCH BETTER. Even if I didnt get scared the actors, animatronics, the house itself, and the wall that closes you in was top notch.

This is the best haunted house I’ve ever been to. Extremely fun and definitely worth the wait. I would highly recommend this haunted house compared to others, these guys and girls are pro’s! I will be back for sure.

I had an absolute blast at this haunted house! It was my first time going and if you get there early enough there is barely a line. On Saturday, there was a DJ playing music a little too loud. My throat began to hurt but I hadnt even been in the attraction yet. It was just from screaming to talk to my friends. Despite that, the actual attraction was amazing. A variety of scares, and even though its quick, its worth it. Ill be back next year, for sure.

We purchased our tickets online. We paid $10 extra for VIP tickets, there was no VIP line. The actual haunted house is super short. They were out of 3D glasses when me and my friend went through so all we saw was blacklights and neon colors. Definitely not worth what we spent. Wont be back next year. Try Creepy Hollow or Redrum, way better. Only good think I can think to say was the makeup was good and so was the music while you waited in line.

Went halloween night. The line was absolutely fine. Despite that it looked neat, it wasnt at all scary. Recommended for young children

ITS THE BEST bc they have LOTS OF ENTERTAINMENT while we stand in the long line They have a FireWomanwho batons flames. A stage with a DJ and we dance when a great song comes on with Zombie Female Dancers and then we go inside and its Scary and has AWESOME 3-D ROOMS, HEY..Cant Spoil Alert EVERYTHING BUT YEAH, WE LOVE TERROR DOME OH and Lots of Police/Sheriffs providing security there !

They can definitely do changes to the lines, getting VIP is pointless because you’ll still end up waiting in line. You’ll wait in line for about 2 hours. I love haunted houses, this has been a great one. Cant wait to get back with my friends! Awesome trippy experience! Definitely recommend but line is ridiculous long and moves at a slow paste.

It was super scary and we really enjoyed it. They gave you a real scare. There was creepy stuff happening even before we went into the haunted house.

Ok so I had trouble with the score for this place 3 or 4, 3 or 4.... ok so I went with 4 manly cause you just simply can not beat the price. Its 20 bucks to walk the haunt and it had like 5 or 6 different chambers and they were all really cool.as soon as you walk in the greeter was cool nice makeup. Thats the thing about this place although small the actors where great along with there costumes. Dont want to give to much away about each room dont want to ruin it for people. But as far as how scary it was I would give it a like a 3 or 4 out of ten it will be just about as scary as any other haunt you will find but dont forget the price remember its only 20 bucks thats such a good price yea outs really small and a quick walk thru but 20 compared to lets say phobia thats like 80 bucks thats a huge difference. Yea phobia has a lot to offer but it you want a good quick scare this is the place. Ok so that was all the good stuff about the place. The only negative this about the place is the dancers and dj they have while you wait I have to say that is the most out of place thing I have ever seen. It is so awkward and kinda uncomfortable to be there with your significant other. The way it was set up just made it seem like a gentlemans club with makeup on the dancers. It was just vary out of place and not expected I got to get out in a scary vibe not that. That was my main problem with the place. And last but not least we did the paint ball thing which I guess is ok but not really cause you cant pick up the paint ball gun and aim where you want so you cant shoot the whole set. And the pressure on the gun is low cause lots of the balls were not even popping.But like I said over all cool place to stop by and spend 20 bucks. Good fun actors and cool set designs. And a really good starter haunt to test the waters. I have no problem recommending the place.

WORST HAUNTED HOUSE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!I went to this haunted house on opening night with my boyfriend due to the good ratings online. We purchased our tickets after waiting in line for 30 MINUTES, then were forced to wait in line under a-tent with NO VENTILATION for 1.5 HOURS before we were finally let into the haunted house. There was a terrible method for allowing guest through ,as the “fast pass” holders were continually let through, forcing everyone else to wait even longer. I wish I knew that before I purchased my tickets. It was 96 DEGREES FARENHEIGHT under the small tent and we were crammed next to at least 50 other people while night club dance music was blasted from speakers RIGHT NEXT TO EVERYONE as loud as possible. The “zombie dancers” Were sweating like crazy and trying not to pass out under the hot tent with hot lights hanging above. In addition to being forced into a sauna in the Texas heat, being overcrowded, ear drums blown out, and waiting for hours, the cherry on top was when PESTICIDES were continually sprayed into the crowd underneath the edges of the tent. The pesticides BURNED MY EYES AND MADE IT HARD TO BREATHE. If I knew this would be my experience at this haunted house, I NEVER WOULD HAVE GONE. The haunted house itself was good, but those 3 minutes were not at all worth the 2 hours of torture and carcinogen exposure!!!

I wasn’t expecting to be as surprised as I was but I had moments where I was truly screaming! Really great costumes, makeup and designs and I LOVED that they separated the groups enough so that I didn’t get my surprise ruined by the group in front of me, and we didn’t get bombarded by the group behind us. It really made it a great experience.

No lie. I was freaking crying the whole time!!! It was that freaking unexpected rush and terror feeling. Will definitely go back!!

It shoupd be made more clear that the escape room is in humble, one of the reasons we decided on this haunt. I guess I expected a little more bang for my buck.

Worst experience ever and bad attitude. My story...well after I choose to go for the reviews happened that after I paid and made a 1 hour line I walked in with my camera. I am a hobby photographer and soon as I walked in the did not want me to go in with my camera. They wanted me out! Do you imagine my face expression been there with 6 of my friends and been pulled out just like that. I was so mad and I told security to please at least to let me go in that I was not going to use the camera at all. about a minute later they agreed but with the condition to be restricted to not use my camera. I ended up doing the walk with this mean face all over to the end. Visiting Houston for hit! like this is not worth it. All of the photos you see online are taken by their own crew because it;s not allowed for anybody else.

It was super scary! I would definitely recommend to go. The details were exquisite and the make up was super horrific. Screamed the entire time! There is a little bit of everything, chainsaws, clowns, tight closed spaces, circus. The lights made it look realistic and it was absolutely horrific! Loved it. Definitely would recommend to go if you want a screaaaaam!

The atmosphere was wonderful as were all the staff. Everyone was extremely nice and courteous. The actors walking around scaring everyone were fun. There was entertainment to make the line go pretty quick.The haunted house itself was extremely well done and very entertaining. It lasted about ten minutes but each segment had its own unique theme.Highly recommend everyone to check it out!

I was very impressed with this one! I usually do not scare easily until I am chased by the chainsaw, however, they got me a few times as well as my husband which is unheard of. We really enjoyed the 3D section and character interaction!
