Tough and beautiful course! Went for the first time today after moving to the area recently and I was impressed! Love that each hole is lined with old trees, and the cart paths wind through like you’re on a nature walk. Course was in great shape, staff was friendly. Even saw some wildlife. Would definitely go again.

Course is awesome, really enjoyed playing. Play was slow, we had a 2 some of kids put out in front of us on the back nine which really slowed us up even more. I would give this place 5 stars if it wasnt for the slow play. Our tee time was 3:50 on a Friday wasnt expecting weekend golf pace.Course is very open on the front nine and more wooded on the back. Very beautiful holes. Cant beat it for the price.Will definitely be back to play again :)

I greatly enjoy this course, its a challenge and a really beautiful course. I particularly enjoy number 6 and 7 and 18. The course is nicely wooded with nice terrain and challenging fairways. Great course!!!

Apparently we missed the WHITES ONLY sign, we were harassed the entire time there. were restricted to only certain areas, were watched the entire time and were told constantly to stay. Apparently grandma and the grandchild cant drive in the rented golf cart because we once again had to stay in a certain area. Also overpriced and horrible experience with the grumpy old man who didnt stop harassing us. Also we had to question as to why we werent allowed to use the picnic tables unoccupied. Lived in channahon all my life grew up their so cant say Im shocked.

One of the best courses Ive played, you definitely stretched your legs on this one

The course is beautiful, the pro shop staff is polite and the beer girl is nice. The problem is two times now... Golf carts were unavailable at my tee off time. I had to wait an hour before I could tee off from my original time. This last time carts were pulled up waiting for sanitation and no one could be found working on it. So a lined formed.

1 star for the course being beautiful and challenging. 1 star for the maintenance of the course, maintained very well. That’s about wheee the good in this review ends. Saw a previous review that said “We missed the sign that said Whites Only.” Couldn’t be more accurate.We were constantly harassed from the start of our round. We were told in the pro shop that we would be able to get 4 gas carts for Covid precautions, but the starter immediately said they wouldn’t have enough carts for the rest of the day when we asked. Strange because I saw about 10 available carts behind him.We got to the tee box of the 2nd hole and there were three groups ahead waiting to tee off. Called in, they said they’d send the starter out. Turned out, the starter forgot to pair a couple twosomes with the same tee time. Took us 35-40 minutes to get on the tee. Had a 2:40 tee time and only made it through 15 holes before it got dark.To top it all off, as we were unloading our bags, someone from the pro shop screamed at us to bring our carts in ASAP and harassed us until we did. Beautiful course, terrible customer service. Hope it wasn’t because we had 3 brown guys in our group. Will not be coming back.

Nice course but pretty bad experience for a Sunday morning. 6:40 tee time, round took over 4 hours and 40 minutes. No rangers seen on the course to keep speed of play. Group ahead of us should not be on a golf course. They were hitting the flag sticks with their putters like baseball bats, walking backwards and hitting our balls back at us (well they tried he just shanked it) and throwing one of my groups ball into the water. Way too slow for a 640 tee time. Speed of play and etiquette not managed by the course. Made the pro shop aware of this, didnt really seem to care, didnt offer a refund, I doubt Ill come back here.

Tough narrow track. Very well kept, beautiful views. I will be back.

Use the driving range and for a large bucket at $10 was a very good price. The range was in good shape and they kept good distance between players.

The course is in very good condition, layout is fun and challenge, green is rolling, could be faster, walking is $41 on weekend, pretty good, will play again when the weather cools down

I love the layout. A beautiful course from the back tees and a great course from the forward tees. Great for all skill levels. Greens and bunkers were back in great shape last year (2019). It is a pricier course if you arent a local.

Great place to play. For a park district course this is one of the best ones Ive seen and very well kept. I did an interview with the manager of the facility awhile back for a class at Lewis U and he was very knowledgeable. There is a restaurant attached as well although I have not had the chance to eat there myself.

I love the variety of holes on this course. Its a nice mix of links, and parkland styles. Going off the first tee it looks like youd be in for a nice links experience. But later on the front nine youre in the forest with tree lined fairways and narrow landing zones. After the turn #10 requires an accurate mid to long iron off the tee down to a slight dogleg-right with trouble left and right of the landing zone. Then plays up to an elevated green. #18 plays uphill with a narrow landing zone with forest left, and tall fescued mound left. It took a long iron off the tee, and a long iron into the green to get there. Lots of varied shots on this course, you cant just go out and hit driver-9 iron every hole. Plenty of bunkers and water features too, even a couple of beach style ones bordering water. If I had a gripe it would be that the greens were kind of beat up later in the day, but thats just from idiots not repairing ball marks. Would recommend, and will play again.

Great Track! I was prepared for a course backing up to corn fields because of the few photos on golf now. This place blew me away! Scenic holes, elevation changes, tree lined....greens, traps, fairways, tee boxes were well kept....great test of the game and a challenging layout. The staff was extremely nice and I couldnt be happier with my first outing. I will be back for sure!

This is a great track!! Very well manicured..you get a little of everything.links.wooded tight holes..water. Par 5s scoreable..has a great finisher 18.. Must hit 250 straight tee shot to have chance at par or better...love this place...so well priced...

Nightmare experience!!! Our party was harrasse the whole entire time... couldnt enjoy our time at any part of the golf course with out this old man watching us and yelling at us... We paid over 200 dollars basically for nothing...Customer beware not a Welcoming environment facility... The old Grumpy man is still stuck in the 1920s...

Course is in fantastic shape. Some holes are treelined and others are more forgiving. A great place to shoot 18. Greens are tough but fair.

4-1/2 stars. Fun and challenging course. Greens seem well maintained. Drained well after heavy rains but limited to 90 degrees. Water stations every few holes. Friendly staff. Good practice range and putting green.

They over charge you. You can play anywhere else for half of the price and they treat you like you are beneath them

Very nice course and in very good condition. If players would fix their divits and fix ball marks on the greens, it would be better experience for everyone. Course has very nice driving range and putting green. Highly recommend this course.

This is my favorite course in a wide area. Each hole is pretty memorable to me. There is a great variety in holes. It feels like you have to recalibrate for each hole. The course is usually well-kept.

Very nice course. Fairways are in great condition. Good elevation changes, everything in great shape. GPS on carts, played at good pace, and its easy to recommend this course.

Great place to golf. Challenging course, yet not too expensive. I likes the deals, particularly in June, when they gave you a rain check, if the weather was bad. That way you didnt have to risk losing your greens fee. Chipping, putting green, and range was in good shape, as was the course.
