The experience was very nice and social distancing was in full effect. I didnt feel like my risk factor was up at all. We enjoyed A Night of Wonder, the music of Stevie Wonder and it was a great performance. The band was top notch and Jessie Larsons vocals and guitar were amazing! Seriously, Jessie is a powerful vocalist, but when he picks up his guitar its like the power company suddenly diverted all electricity into his body and it comes out through his guitar!!!!! Hes a musical tsunami and when the waves hit me I am overtaken with joy!! Have you heard his single Woman from The Voice? Download it now! You wont regret it!!

I went to see Kat Perkins at Chanhassen Dinner Theater 2 times I saw her last year and 2017 in December and it was so fun!

Fabulous live entertainment with #WildAngels! So great to be out with friends. Lots of social distancing and still having fun. Looking forward to going back soon.

The Springsteen Show was amazing. The band did a great job. Loved the feel of the theater.

Went to see Buddy Holly last night as I took my parents and my brother which was a make of day. The staff, and the show was outstanding five stars. It was amazing how well planned out everything was from the greeting staff to waiters/waitresss and staff clearing tables which was separate. Waiters and Waitresss never touched a used plate or cup this was only done by a separate staff. All the staff wore a mask and handled them selfs perfectly, you would have thought they had been doing this for moths. Would not think twice about attending another show or worried about my folks, felt 100% safe. Thank you to all that made it possible it was amazing and what talent.

Food was great as well as servers. The band was great as well. Hot butter soul you killed it.

Chanhassen is well known for excellent theater/dining combination outings. It is well worth your time and effort to see and enjoy.

The Eagles tribute band was fabulous the dinner was excellent. It was a beautiful Saturday night. Nice job Chanhassen Dinner Theater.

My daughter planned prom for her small school here in the club room. Robin was wonderful to work with. Having the venue, linens, place settings, DJ and food all together in one package took a big load off. Everything went so smoothly and looked beautiful. We had a great time.

We went for the Stevie Ray’s Comedy show tonight. It was a blast! We had dinner there beforehand and the staff was super friendly, helpful, and wonderful. Our servers were awesome and the comedy show was so funny! Many laughs were had and i was very impressed with the improv. Hats off to those guys even though Stevie doesn’t know any of Beyoncé’s songs hahaha (inside joke from tonight’s show) Also, the pianist was super talented. Chanhassen never disappoints. Check it out!

Chanhassen Dinner Theater serves up a pretty unique experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. The look and the feel of the place is unlike any other building Ive been in. There are so many different... How do I put it, building aesthetics, is probably the best way I can think of. There were wide open spaces with some pretty great views and artwork depicting some past shows which looks really cool. Then they had some incredibly cramped areas leading to the dinner section. Which is something Ive never experienced and aside from an awkward back and forth with a gentleman trying to go the opposite direction worked just fine. The food was very good, I recommend their famous chicken. The only bad portion of the night were the other attendees at the venue. Especially one fellow whose BMWs battery was too sensitive to jump start our car. Other than that it was a great experience and Id probably be willing to go again.

I can not say enough good things about this place. From the moment you enter the building, you are greeted with a smile and given an eta to when seating starts. The hall is decorated with information about the play you are about to experience. Being seated is almost a theatrical experience itself, as it is so efficient and structured. The wait staff was amazingly professional and delightful. The meal was very good, taking into consideration they are serving so many people. From the moment Mama Mia! started until it finished, we were captivated by the talent of the cast, band, lighting and how it all came together to create an amazing experience that takes you out of your head and into the present. I was truly impressed and will have fond memories of the experience.

My family from out-of-state was going to take my elderly grandmother to the Dinner Theater for her birthday. Unfortunately Covid-19 hit and they were unable to travel. Now Chanhassen dinner theatres is refusing to provide a refund.

Great venue for watching a play or live music. Nice nostalgic feel.

Our group visited to see Mama Mia. We were seated at our table nice and early. I like their layout having the dining tables in a separate room directly behind the theatre seating. That way theres no mess or food distractions during the performance. The meal was promptly served and my chicken was tender and delicious. The music and performance was great. At intermission, dessert was served in the little dining room which works out nicely. All in all, a fun experience.

Always a fun time. I have been coming here since I was five years old. The first show I saw here was I DO! I DO! way back in the early days of that production. I have seen show here a few times a year since then. I can not remember how many times I have been here. BUT YOU can Remember to tip your waiter or waitress well.

I was a little apprehensive about dinner theater (it’s been a while) and I was thoroughly impressed! The food was excellent, the service was efficient and the show was absolutely fantastic! We saw Mamma Mia and had such a great night. I’m looking forward to going back with my friends and checking out some of their other shows soon (they have a ton of cover bands and comedy). Definitely recommend!!

What a wonderful dinner theater. Great entertainment and food. We always have a wonderful time there. We saw Mama Mia and the singing, music and humor was outstanding. It is especially fun to go as a group of friends as you are seated at a table for 6 or booth. The atmosphere is Soo comfortable.

We got tickets for my daughters birthday. The kids just loved the performance and the food was amazing as well. I recommend the wonton cheese stick. they are extra but Soo worth it.

Get the Chicken Chan! The shows are amazing filled with equity actors with super impressive resumes and always phenomenal performances. The cast often interacts with the audience making it more fun. Sets are vibrant and top notch. Come early and hit the bar in the back of the building for an amazing happy hour.

Beautiful lights and music, and delicious food! Our waiter was very good with my younger brother, and made him laugh! I had the prime rib and it was delicious. I LOVED the show, it was my first time seeing Mamma Mia and I wish we went sooner! That way I could have seen it again before the show closed. I cant wait to visit again!

Love it!! We went and had dinner and it was very good. Then it was show time. We enjoyed the musical very much. Great music and so excellent singers. We saw Mamma Mia, the lady that play the mother, the daughter and the heavy set lady that was one of the mothers friend had great voices. Good music, good food and just a fun time.

What an experience. Our high school orchestra came to Mama Mia for part of our orchestra trip. The food was amazing and very filling. Our server, Matt was great and fun. The show was exceptional with amazing actors and music.

This is a wonderful theater, with a long tradition of outstanding musical Productions and fine dining.Ive been here several times, and I am never short of Amazement at the quality of the production.I would highly recommend the theater for a date, and anniversary, special occasion, or simply just to have an enjoyable evening out.

I used to love going to Chan. Ive worked in the arts for years, and I understand that due to COVID things are hard on everyone. However, Chanhassen has done a terrible job with how they are handling the cancelation of Music Man. Other non profits have graciously offered refunds or requested that the amount of the tickets be donated back to the theater. Chanhassen, on the other hand, just sends out an email saying they are not doing refunds. This is so disappointing during a time that is hard financially for everyone. I wont be returning to the theater and will be letting others know of my experience.

The shows here are amazing! Never a disappointment. Not only are the musicals a hit, but the Christmas shows in the other theaters are wonderful, too. There is also a lovely Christian book and gift shop and womens apparel shop in the building that is always a joy to visit before or after the show. My only complaint is their menu really needs an upgrade. It is always the same and pretty boring.

We saw the Music Man and it was superb! The dinner beforehand was delicious and the serving staff were amazing. Made for wonderful evening with family. We plan to go again with friends. I would recommend experiencing this dinner theater.

A great time for the family and to get introduce to musical at a local place for a medium cost. The cast made my niece so happy by dancing with her at the end of Mamma Mia!

Just saw the Fabulous Armadillos in the Fireside Lounge. They were part of the Concert Series. This was a special show called Whats Going On - Songs of the Vietnam Era. The entire set was a showstopper from beginning to end. They deserved a bigger room. The seats in the lounge are small and too close to the stage. I was in row 3. Not complaining about my seat placement. Its a tight fit, Im not a big person. Chanhassen has a gem with the Dinner Theater. Amy Adams as alumi, Prince has played there... many more icons!

Weve went to about 20 performances here and have really enjoyed all of them. The shows are fantastic and the food is pretty good. Its a perfect way to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays, group outings or just a date night out on the town.

Saw mama Mia and loved it! Sat in a corner booth and the view was fine. Sang and danced in our seats. Didnt have to turn a chair to see the stage.

First time experiencing CDT and I was blown away! We saw Holiday Inn and the show was phenomenal with great singing, dancing, and acting. The food was very good and cooked to order. Service was great and the atmosphere was exciting! An awesome experience all around!

If I could give ten stars, I would. This has to be one of THE best places! The food is incredible, the shows are so entertaining, the actors and actresses are perfect, the sound is awesome and flawless, the stage and props are fabulous, the musicians are amazing, I cant think of anything wrong! Mamma Mia kept me smiling the whole time, wanting more and getting it! The price is right for the whole experience and there isnt a bad seat. I can not recommend this place enough! If I lived close, I would get a job there just so I could experience it more. Please dont deny yourself this experience! There are no regrets!!

We went to see the The famous Armadillos ( Eagles music) it was great! We had dinner there and the food was very good! The concert was alot of fun!!! I would go back again and again those guys are great! They really rock the house.

I absolutely fell in love with the mamma Mia show going back for more I fell in love with all the cast members , the food was absolutely delicious I got the vegan meatloaf it was absolutely delicious I recommended so much I wish I would have took a picture .

I have loved every time Ive been to the Chanhassen dinner theatre. The productions are always impressive and entertaining. Additionally, even the bad seats have a great view of the stage! So dont worry too much about where you end up. The wait staff operates efficiently, and the fact that they can feed an entire audience prior to the show is amazing. I knocked off a star just because the food isnt always on point for the price and the upcharge (even though I can admit its an extreme feat to feed a crowd!).

Great food & excellent theater. They very much need a restroom on the directors suite level though. Server didnt seem to able to keep up. Salads were very different sizes - one was twice the size of the other. Seating in both the theater & dining room was very comfortable.

Place was amazing! The musical was amazing! Food was amazing! I also got an almond blossom which is non-alcoholic and it was great! I really liked the kind staff and clean and classy building!

Was my first time there and we saw Mama Mia. Great show, great atmosphere and great staff. I had a question about an ingredient that I am allergic to and they looked it right up for me...most places wont. Fun staff also.

Just went for the show Mama Mia. Actors and actresses did a wonderful job engaging the audience and making everyone laugh. Lasagna was really good and the chocolate mousse cake was amazing. This was my second time going and look forward to going again.

Being a dinner theater in MN is a rare occasion. Chanhassen is definitely a gem in our state. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The cast was phenomenal! Definitely a great way to spend the day!

Always a Great experience. For over 20 years C.D.T. has been amazing me and my family. If youve never been to a production here I highly recommend giving them a shot. I have never been disappointed and have seen some of the same shows more than once. Broadway quality at a local venue and at a great price.

Everything runs as a smooth running machine. There are lots of people there to make sure you have the best experience. My only critique is that all seats cost the same and there are definitely better seats than others.

Wish I could give ZERO stars. Bought three $100 front row seats for The Music Man for a special occasion for my grandmothers 80th birthday. The show was canceled by Chanhassan -- they canceled because of COVID. But they will not give ANY refunds at all (thieves!). They are only giving out gift certificates for future performances (IF they ever open again). Thing is: IT WAS A SPECIAL OCCASION! I will never want to ever go there - so basically they just robbed me for $300.00. Worst. Company. Ever. I hope they go bankrupt.

We had excellent seats to experience the showing of Holiday Inn for our 27th Wedding Anniversary. This was our very first time to experience this dinner theater. The show and actors were very talented and it provided for a wonderful evening. We were very impressed with the singing and dancing. Our evening really started off right with the dinner service. I had the Chicken Chanhassen and my wife had the top sirloin well prepared. We shared and found both meals very delicious. The caramel cheesecake was not very good so I would recommend something else for dessert - this was my only complaint about the food. Service was top notch. Our waiter Mike was excellent. We stayed at the nearby Chanhassen Country Inn. The box office provides a great hotel rate for a King Suite in a very charming hotel so in a way, we got a nice package that made for a memorable Anniversary.

Great food and service. Went and saw The Holiday, highly recommend. Get a booth if the hard chairs bother you.

Worked a wedding as a videographer there and had a behind the scenes look at the event staff. Weddings can be challenging as live events always have wrinkles to iron out. Robyn and her staff were AMAZING, accommodating to vendors and guests and adept at handling any challenges that arose throughout the night. Oh, and the food was just excellent! Great job CDT, hope to be there to work again with you in the future!

NOT CELIAC SAFE: The staff tried so so hard and were so sweet but by the second half I was not feeling well. Had the Impossible Meatloaf and it was probably the best thing I’ve eaten in a very long time! On top of that: show was amazing! Staff was awesome, so sweet and tried very hard to make me feel safe. However I recommend eating before you go!

LOVE LOVE LOVE CDT. Saw Momma Mia a number of times with my daughter and each time was blown away. Dinner is a little slow, unfortunately, but the production is top notch. Free parking with a large parking lot which is also a plus.

Weve been coming to CDT for quite a few years now and never been disappointed, we went and saw the Newsies this time and as always it was incredible. The food and service as usual was top notch as well. Highly recommend attending if you havent before. Celebrating their 50 year anniversary this year, hope it stays around for another 50+

Its been a while since we were last here, but like a good wine, they just get better with age. We had been wanting to see Mama Mia for a while, and finally got to see it today. Fabulous performance. Enjoyed every minute of it.

I came here for a music trip treat and it was by far one of the best experiences ever! Lots of laughter, singing along, clapping, and fun memories! The food is also delish! I didnt get to try a desert since I didnt have enough spending money but the group I was with loved the choices they got. Definitely a great and unforgettable experience!

As a theater producer for the past 30 years, I always see live theater from a different perspective. Fortunately or unfortunately that just is the way it is. Having been the owner of dinner theaters and Artistic Director of dinner theaters in the past, I love to just sit back and enjoy the entire experience. Chanhassen has the entire experience. I had such a wonderful time, starting with the food. In my experience, if the dinning is a bad experience the actors are put in a very difficult situation to bring you back into the story. Chanhassen obviously knows this and does an amazing job. Not only with the quality of the food but also the amount of the food and choices that you are given. They have been in business for 50 years for a reason. I would highly recommend that anyone who loves the Arts or anyone looking for a wonderful time go to Chanhassen Dinner Theater!!

Went to Sister Act. Good performance and good music. Unfortunately (I assume due to copyright) they couldn’t use any of the songs from the movie.Prime rib is $15 extra, but I thought it was worth it. All the food was pretty good.

I saw Mama Mia tonight and the cast was PHENOMENAL! The food was amazing! The staff was superb!! Cant wait to come back!!

Second time I have been here for a show. both times I have had a great experience. the food had been great every time from the main course to the desserts and drinks. I recently saw mama Mia and bring a guy that had never watched the movie I was impressed with the show. I previously saw holiday inn which was also a great performance! I will be going to chanhassen dinner theater again once a new show comes!

A group of us girls went here for my moms birthday. The food was delicious! We seen Mamma Mia and we all laughed and had a great time. I cant wait to go again!

We were lucky to get a table alone. Very friendly efficient service. We ordered the steak and chicken entrees. Very good! The show was so enjoyable. A great night for an evening of entertainment! This is a must see performance!!

We saw Mama Mia! The show was very good and the actors looked like they were enjoying the show and the audience enjoyed the show. The food was good and tasty. The wait staff were very efficient and attentive. Hopefully we will get back and see more shows soon. There is also a comedy stage as well as other stuff going on all the time. Definitely worth checking out to see what is going on.

Went there for the Mama Mia show and had a wonderful evening. Staff was extremely friendly and professional. Everything we ordered was delicious from appetizers, salmon and cheesecake for dessert.

We absolutely love going to CDT! Food is delicious and the shows are always top notch! We only go for a special date night because its a little spendy.

I love CDT for shows, and Brindisis pub has amazing food (try the coconut shrimp!) but mostly I loved getting married at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres. We had the most glamorous, lovely, all-inclusive wedding at CDT. Their staff is amazing and so helpful. I would recommend to anyone.

I saw mamma mia here. The actors and actresses are great at both acting and singing. The food tastes amazing. All though it is pricey, the quality of both food, performance, and staff is worth it.

Place is pretty much of a joke from start to finish. I recieved a couple comped tickets from a friend who couldnt use them so I took my girlfriend there. We come in to be seated for dinner and were told that comped ticket holders were sent to McDonalds for dinner--I guess the guy thought he was funny. We had dinner in a dank musty basement area with tables and chairs that rocked about. Dinner was mediocre, slightly better than airline food---should have done McDonalds. After our meal the server--and I use the term very loosely---rudely and pointedly gave us a bill and stated that even though the meal was comped a gratuity was still expected and made a point of putting his finger at the meal total and the gratuity guide below it. The snobbish SOB got a nickel. The show was pretty good but the evening was not enjoyable due to the poor behavior of the staff. Pretty much treated like dirt because our tickets were comped. I really dont see myself coming back and paying good money to some place that makes itself out to be way more than it actually is.

Momma Mia was WONDERFUL!!Food was delicious and we had a great server. The show was full of energy and uplifting. The songs were easy to sing along with and the singers hand amazing voices! Well Done!
