I’d give it high marks if it was open. Why would they close such an amazing place?
I live near here and stopped in twice. The artifacts are fascinating and I love to visit. I collect old antiques and arrowheads and this museum gave me a lot of ideas how to decorate my house. I plan on going in again soon. It’s not overpriced and I hope they expand
Awesome place to visit and see the pee posh native native american history of local area. Highly recommend Leeland is fantastic come stop by. My favorite part of the museum is the stick that highlights important events.
What a beautiful tranquil place. Lots of photos of the area dating back in history. Basket samples and so much more. Wonderful place to spend time.
We had no idea about the opening hours so I guess we got lucky.Interesting buildings to look at, if a little confusing - it wasnt too clear where to find the reception (its the building on the left when you get through the tunnel)Inside was cool both in temperature and also in content. When we were there there was several current exhibitions (contemporary art, history of basket making and pottery, some archive photography and a section on jazz musician Russell Moore) We found it a very interesting and enjoyable visit and the staff were welcoming, open and informative. Then we went up to the roof for some great views. We were staying at a nearby casino so we hadnt far to travel but I guess it might be a slightly less satisfying experience if you made a special trip and drove for hours.Russell Moores music is fantastic btw.
It isnt open due to construction right now, Aug 2019. Does look interesting though
I believe is a nuclear shelter
Beautiful buildings, layout and design.
Went to the Hook Aaga event. It was even better than last year! I love this museum as it puts out a lot of events and activities for trip Al and community members, a lot also open to non-tribal. Plus, the place itself is just beautiful.
Amazing place with wonderful people. You can feel the strength of their ancestors.
This exhibit place is closed until January, only the administration office is open. Will be amazing once open to the public.
This is an awesome place. The day I went with my family was on a story telling night. It was really cool hearing all the stories that have been told from generation to generation.
Relatives took us to this amazing museum while here for a visit. Weve been to western art collections across the country, and this one stands among the best. The family spent the $$$ on the art, not the building. But the art is extensive and amazing! Youll need a couple of hours or more to take it all in, but take the time.
They are closed but there is no sign saying they are closed. I drive by a couple of times a week and even though they are closed they dont have a sign at the entrance. I read an article indicating that they are remodeling?
By far the best in Arizona
This is a great place to learn about Oodham and Pee Posh culture and history. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They host wonderful family events and First Fridays.
Interesting building people who work there are unhelpful
Love it and is being expanded. Great place to learn culture and heritage!
Terrific people, amazing exhibits and beautiful exhibition space. Cant wait to see the upcoming new exhibition area.
Very sacred place and an ancient museum.

Awesome staff awesome Museum
Horrible! I cannot believe this place is even open! There was nothing here. Employees were unfriendly and evasive of my family and I.
Ive only ever been outside not inside.
Very impressive museum and very well done. Definitely recommend seeing the movie and it enhances the experience. Museum is divided between European and Pacific battles, tells very personal stories.
Beautiful place
Beautiful building with nothing but a few pottery pieces and pictures. Not much to see.
Great place to learn and share knowledge about the Ootham.
Very small museum, but very tranquil place.
Terrible the museum is blocked off and locked during business hours.
Very interesting, especially the basket exhibit and the veterans exhibit.
We were told that it is closed for renovations. That was on October 12th.
Wonderful, interesting, and informative. A must see if youre in the area!
Beautiful and rich with knowledge.
Awesome Day at the Races
Quiet peaceful fun intresting
Interesting displays
Beautiful
It was CLOSED UNTIL 2020
My wife and I live close by, and several times tried to visit. Its always closed when its website says its open. The only culture or heritage to be found here is at one of the tribes casinoS right down the street. So if you really want to check this place out, save your time & gas money because its a complete JOKE!
