This place is the worst! Since the reopening after the closure they have turned the slot machines off and basically robbing people! They have took $25,000.00 from me since they reopened! No need to come here all they do is take your money! Place is horrible! This place agreed to close for the fake covid scam agenda! This place chose to do construction and add on to the establishment. That doesn’t mean this place has to resort to robbing the patrons of their money! It doesn’t mean you have your workers sit in the back and target individuals by turning off gaming machines while they play to take all their money while you turn them on for other individuals!

Wild Horse pass is one of my Favorite Casino’s in Arizona. The Casino is nicely ventilated. You inhale smoke as you are walking pass a smoker but it is not all that you smell. The aroma of one of my favorite restaurants, Ling and Louis’s overclouds the scent at times. They have great choices in eatery’s. Sometimes I go there just to eat, to be honest. The rooms are fresh, clean and beautiful as well as the pool. Perfect place to relax for the weekend

It was a real unknown to us as to how the casino was handling Covid safety protocol, but there was never a moment where we felt unsafe. It was definitely a great experience.And the the food and Judy, our waitress at Ling & Louies, were both fantastic. We had the best entrées and service. Thank you

This is, by far, my favorite casino to play at. Very welcoming atmosphere. Ive had food at both the food court and the Fullhouse cafe....both serve good food. The hotel rooms are very clean and relaxing. I cant wait to see the new addition at completion. So excited!!!

Bathrooms lack wide entrances tho lol. Feels like u crash into someone upon exiting or entering the bathroom. Overall, will be back. Good odds here, or just luck this time

No pool, its under construction (this is not on the website), they should flip the mattresses, but the big reason for 2 stars is they canceled my reservation from June (check in September) and didnt tell me. Closed for Covid so they canceled the reservation. They told Expedia but not me, imagine the surprise when we got there. Do companies do things like this? They gave a good price for the room, but the communication should have been better so I could have made other arrangements. In general the staff was very nice.

Wow I stay here for 4 days and I cant find anything to complain about. I mean, food was good, video machine was not too far from the hotel entrance. Only thing that could need looking at was the parking lot. It was not enough parking spot closer to the hotel entrance. Maybe because it was still under construction when I went. However I would still go there if I get another reason to be around that area.

I went to finally have a little much needed fun Sun night with my daughter and son in law. I wanted to play Medusa, ! I found a seat open & started playing, I was doing well free spin etc. then they lined up chairs to block off entire section, I asked if I could move 2 right in my way. People bumped into me!!!! I was forced off machine security stands over me till I let free spins play??? Really how nice!!! We left!!! Mad as hell! :(

This casino is the one closes to us and its a great casino we tell all our friends to go there the hotel staff is courteous and so are all the employees, the casino area is always clean and so are the bedrooms and bathrooms the slot machines are fun to play my husband and I love to go there, its a beautiful casino and I am sure anybody that goes there will enjoy it. Thats is why I am giving them 5 STARS. If I knew the CEO I would tell him or her personally.

Service personnel good however no microwaves in room, bed and pillows are very hard like sleeping on a rock, couldnt have a good nights rest n woke up to a huge head ache. Also we requested pickup from the improvised truch parking lot and we didnt get picked up. Restaurants were awesome casino is alright. Thank you Gila River Hotel next time will sleep in our truck.

First the parking lot for customers thats staying in hotels are kinda far should have some type of service like gulf cart or something. 2nd. Theirs construction like crazy i herd drilling through my toliet in my room and i was on the top floor. 3rd. Vending machines only take CASH like huh?? I thought the whole concept was to be cashless due to COVID-19, room was ok but view was terrible, all i could see was cars and ac units...pool was closed and gym was closed. also this casino lacks diversity. the food and Drinks are great here but i think thats about it...Now the gambling, I played 5 Slots and the most i won was 80 bucks. And i play at least 1.80-2.50 a spin and tables were terrible i mean i literally wont be gambling for a while because of the games here Ill wait to go to Vegas i tried to like Gila River Casinos but besides the food i dont see myself returning. Customer service on the casino floor by tables are the worst in AZ after i gave it a second try....sad

Admittedly, I am not a gambler, even though I live in Las Vegas. My wife and I were in Phoenix for the week, but it was so hot, we ended up in this casino. My wife enjoys the penny slots and I camped out in the food Courts. I guess you would call it that, it had 2 restaurants (see pix)! Nevertheless, its a place that I could enjoy an ice tea and not wear a mask. All in all, its a casino like most casinos, clean cool and inviting.

The staff was extremely accommodating and nice, the rooms were also very clean. The casino was also nice and spacious and the food and drinks were not super over priced

This was my first experience at Gila River Casino(Wild Horse Pass) and I would like to split this review into two parts.HotelThe hotel is new and was beautiful. They do have construction still as the hotel is not complete but this has no impact on my experience. However, overall I am very disappointed with my stay. As I get to my room I turn the AC down as usual( most hotels keep the rooms warmer until occupied). After 45 minutes my guests and I notice that the room is not cooling down and is getting warmer. I quickly called down to the front desk and they advised someone would come investigate. I called for assistance around 4:45 and no one showed up until almost 6pm. I had dinner plans scheduled for 6:30, so this was very frustrating. The first time maintenance comes all they do is turn the air down and asked me to wait 10 minutes and call back if it isn’t working. I already had the thermostat at 60 degrees and the room temp was 81, so I didn’t see how turning it down to 50 was a good solution but I went with it. I called back because surprisingly it was sill hot and that solution did not work. The front desk advised they would have maintenance come back ASAP. I informed them that this is making me miss my dinner reservation and I can’t wait another hour. They apologized and said that I can go ahead and leave and maintenance can fix while we are eating. This would have been nice to know the first time, but we were just happy to get out of the hot room. We get back around 10pm and as soon as we went into the room it’s still hot so obviously nothing was fixed. I could tell maintenance came because the panel to the AC was left open. At this point, I called and requested a new room and the front desk was able to move me just a few doors down. The AC actually worked in this room and we didn’t have to be uncomfortable the rest of the trip. The front desk advised they would be applying $40 meal credit to my account due to the delays in repair. While I appreciated the gesture, I feel like moving me to a new room should have been offered a lot earlier. If maintenance knew it couldn’t be fixed why didn’t they inform the front desk to contact me proactively to inform me of the situation and work out other arrangements. We were eating at the casino, so we were literally steps away. The sweating, discomfort and not being able to relax on vacation is worth a lot more than just some meal credits. Overall, I’m disappointed that my first experience with the hotel was not relaxing and way more complicated than it needed to be. As the customer I shouldn’t be having to make several calls to report issues and request updates.CasinoThe casino on the other hand was awesome! Super clean, not over crowded and they had hand sanitizer stations throughout. The drinks were priced well and I enjoyed some gambling. In the future I will definitely come back to the casino but I will for sure seek other hotel nearby for a better experience for less money.

Tons of people. So, its great that they are taking temperatures at the door. Only 3 restaurants open. A lot of construction going on right now as well. All in all it was good to walk around.

The employees were super. The hotel on the other hand was disappointing. They are under construction which we were not made aware of. The pool was closed, the cafe closed at 2 in the afternoon and did not reopen for dinner, the gift shop was closed so couldnt get anything unless you wanted vending machine food, the steak house was closed, smoke alarm went off and took some time before they made an announcement which you couldnt understand. Thank goodness there wasnt a fire. At one point the elevator didnt work and was being worked on. Not a very good experience.

Very nice and clean, Hand Sanitizer & Sanitizing wipes readily available. The Cleaning Ambassadors were on top of keeping machines wiped down . Thank you for a Healthy , Smoke free environment, it makes it so comfortable to breathe , especially having to wear a mask and enjoy playing. A great variety of games to choose from.Over all this Casino was a great experience. Will definitely return to play.

Trash!!! Worst customer service!!!! I had 2 reservations. Both canceled! They sent me a gift to come back and they canceled that one too! Not a phone call to see if they can assistance in making a new one! I ordered the highest class room! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I even called and someone was suppose to call back! They never did!

Bathroom toilets are too hard to flush! No one cleaning, no one doing drink service! I just wanted a water! Even if they charge $2 a bottle like last time!

A lot of fun. I recommend the Willy Wonka or wizard of Oz interactive penny machines!! As your credits get low, they always make sure you hit for a pretty good amount to keep you on the machine!! Ive spun and gotten free spins in the bonus round and won over $300 in the bonus round alone, multiple times!! A LOT of fun!!!

Like to share the moments being there I went to Long Butt its the best place to be people are so friendly very helpful and theyre also watching over our backs when someone gets a little carried away I love it because it is like made for seniors very few young people go there and they do know whos smoking they have an area for that it is so great I love it

I love this casino but Im changing my rating... NO SMOKING at the casino floor... but there is people drinking and walking around not wearing face mask the proper way... so I think why not just let people smoke too... and I know there is more people that agree with me...

The hotel was under construction. There was no pool. My room stayed rather warm as the ac didnt work well.

Came in late had made a reservation earlier in day lady at front desk insisted we didn’t have one and the only available room that was now open was more.Went to dinner waiter was rude and literally asked up to hurry up because they were trying to close. Went to play machines there were drunk obnoxious people everywhere several fights. Went to bed didn’t want to be around the drunks. Was woken up a little after 6:30 in the morning for construction on sat morning.Went to breakfast food was okay waiter was amazing apologetic for construction ext. I won’t be back. Was my first and last time there. Feel like I was ripped off.

Machines are SUPER TIGHT especially keno and china shore and lion festival.And its a total inconvenience to have to cash out and go all the way to 2nd floor or outside every time you want a cigarette. Smoking is not spreading the virus and at real casinos where you can still smoke you put your mask right back on. You just dont stay long and spend much money now cause it gets monotonous cashing out and running in and out of casino. Might be worth it if you could actually win something once in awhile at least something to play on for awhile.

I like Wild Horse Casino the best out of the Three Gila Rivers Casinos around the Phoenix area. Seems the slots are a bit looser and offer a better selection of slot games. Easy to get from the parking garage to casino floor not much distance and they sit directly off the 202 it is easy to locate and would go back here next time Im in the area.

The room and bathroom looked a little dated, although they were clean. From the moment you enter the lobby, there is the smell of smoke, which comes from the casino. There is a very small no smoking section for slot machines in the casino, but you have to walk through the smoke to reach it. The casino personnel, although pleasant, did not know how to place bets on many of the slot machines,some of which were unfamiliar to me (e-craps, for example). And there are no live crap tables.We had to ask reception to have our room made up when we returned at 5:00 pm and it had not yet been done.

Slots are tight... didnt see any cleaning going on such as wiping down machines . Only sit down Restuarant opened 6-2. ..

We went to see Sinbad perform live in their theater. I was surprised that he is still so funny since I have not seen him in anything since Jingle All the way, the movie. The place was clean and the staff was courteous. Looks like a great place to see bands and comedians perform. Go check it out. When you go let me know what you think. I will stay at their hotel and review it another time.

Came here on 5/27, roughly two weeks after their reopening during the pandemic. It was terrifying. I fully acknowledge I was going to gamble in a casino during a pandemic. However, I planned to wear a mask and be very careful to maintain social distancing. I was the only one with this attitude. It was a free for all. No social distancing. Only 1 out of 10 people had a mask on. Bar was packed shoulder to shoulder. Slot machines shoulder to shoulder. What are people thinking? The clientele here is just absolute trash. Lets get back to opening up America, but lets be smart about it. Glad I wore a mask to protect all the ignorant trash who patrons this casino. They just blew smoke in my face.

Excellent from beginning to end!! Front counter clerk and manager . Josh was his name I believe! My Id was badly in shape could not see my face or read credentials on it . could not get a room without it! They went above and beyond expectations! My boss from work sent copy of it to Josh clerk he verified Id was legit . And just like that they ACCOMMODATED MY MOM AND I celebrating are Birthdays together!!! Just loved it! Rooms are are spacious. Shampoo, conditioner, lotion and mouthwash. Ample towels. All was just what I needed after watching 2 infants 3 days a.s week! Thank you. Oh, snd I won $275!!

Very nice hotel. Loved the room and the beds where very comfortable. The casino was full of a bad cigarette smell which made us not stay in the casino long. No drink or wait staff available around slots or tables. Pool and hot tub was nice. Loved the free cucumber water by the pool to keep hydrated. Conference rooms where lovley along with the wait staff. Food was delicious!

We had a great time. Smoking is prohibited due to the pandemic. Which made it even more enjoyable.

Had reservations for June 18th. Well the hotel decided to close and cancel all reservations without notifying anyone. Had to find out the day of the reservation when I showed up to an empty blocked off parking lot and had to look at the website.

Restaurants closed. It was a small casino. Clean and tidy and the seating was all open.no smoking which was nice.

Nice place. The cafe has some good food. I had the southwest wrap with sweet potato fries- delish! Although the atmosphere in there is a bit stale for my liking. Hard to explain. The decor inside the casino is classy and clean. Outlets right across the walkway is a nice option also.
