Very helpful, super comfortable seats. Quick and easy getting in and out. My only complaint is that they let a customer sit through new mutants with their phone out the whole time.

Not a bad place to see a movie. They have Imax screens. I feel as if they were a bit understaffed. I walked in not knowing where to go or who to speak to with all these new COVID precautions. I had a hard time finding someone to check my tickets I purchased online.

Offers a pretty good movie watching experience, with a cheaper price that the goodrich. i dont think they care if you are a student tho, everyone gets the same ticket for adults, no bs. Clean place, offer lots of things. It is my go to place to watch new movies or just to spend the weekend if i have nothing else to be done.

Actual score would be 3.5 if I could, I didnt think it deserved a 3 so I rounded up. This theater is right by our house so it is usually our go-to. We usually have a good experience and they have some cool rewards programs. They have the old style theater chairs, not the new recliner style, but theyre well kept and usually pretty clean. My popcorn was burnt the last 2 times and I didnt notice until I was in the theater, so I need to remember to taste it before I leave the counter. Overall a good, normal theater.

Fantastic experience; simple and easy and hassle-free. Staff was friendly, if tired -- to be completely fair, though, customer service jobs are a drudgery (I speak from experience). Clean lobby, facilities, rows and seats. Will definitely come again for new releases in the future!

If you enjoy movies and typically watch more than two movies per month, get a A-List! I can watch three movie per WEEK for 21 dollars a month, which is definitely worth it. The staffs are nice~

The idea of selling tickets and concessions at the same station, with only one person working both, is absolute fail during the daytime. Waited 12 minutes for a Friday matinee (3 people in front of me)! Also, expect your movie to start over a half hour later than scheduled due to commercials and trailers. Horribly ran theater. I only gave it one star because it was clean and comfortable!

Nice place. Bigger screens and bigger theaters than my AMC at home. But this one closes down the soda machines before the end of the last movie, so theres no refilling your drink before you go home.

This is specifically regarding the security guard who was working tonight (2/22 between 7-10 pm). This individual clearly has a bias against the young teenagers in the area. He went out of his way to harass a small group of teens in the lobby who were 1) clearly there waiting for a ride as it was was cold out 2) completely harmless and not disruptive in any way 3) his tone and attitude towards them was disrespectful as they are paying customers at this theater. I highly suggest he takes sensitivity training because it was pretty blatant he does not know how to communicate with teenagers and he finds them to be a nuisance.

Do you like movies? Good. They show movies here. Also, I think you can drink alcohol during the show. How cool is that?

Dont go at spur of the moment. This place runs on a skeleton crew and lines were huge, wasnt a weekend and wasnt an opening night of any movie just super busy on a Monday and only 2 people at the counter, would of missed the movie if we stayed in line. Concessions with tickets is the most stupid idea to save a quick buck. Savoy theater will be my choice from now on.

I enjoyed my movie. Wasnt too keen waiting in line that sold food and tickets. Then told to pick seats from a small screen as trying to buy tickets. Dont like that set up...

Went to watch a couple of movies including Gemini man. Lovely place.It wasnt so crowded and sound quality was really good! The only down side; it was too cold inside...Lol

Not my favorite. Everything is over priced and even though they have dietary sensitive options, they do not have a printed out menu with them on it, nor do the staff know about it. You have to go online and do an extensive search yourself.

Theater itself wasnt bad, decently clean. When we went it wasnt busy at all, nobody in the lobby customer wise. Waited for the staff to finish their conversation at the other end of the counter before they came over to us, and it seemed as if we were bothering them, with not even a how are you today..just got asked what movie? and that was it for communication. Other than that, it was an overall good night at the movies.

This is not my normal theater, I live in Rockford, but I took my niece. It was probably the friendliest workers Ive ever had contact with at an AMC! One of the guys cleaning up after the show danced up the stairs and after finishing saw me and thanked us for being great guests.

It was nice and clean plus friendly staff except they should look into self scan kiosks or a new way to process VIP and non VIP members. A lot of the customers seemed to have an issue with who goes first which is understandable for both points of view. Also not a fan of assigned seating. I would like to choose where to sit as soon as I get to the theater.

Has a great parking lot out in front, lots of spaces. Inside it smells funky but whatever. It looks clean at least. Theres lots of individual theaters and great selections and times. Theres also great movie decor all around the place and theres also a grand theatre right when you pass the ticket person.

We love going to AMC Champaign we get great service and the employees are very friendly keep the great work...

I miss this place, the popcorn was so good, and the staff was on par if that makes sense, never really had much interaction to rate them but the food was great, I miss coming here.

Went to watch a movie here and I was suprised by how wide and spacious the area is. The employees are very helpful and very happy to assist you. The sound system is great. The rest room is clean and the consession area have lots of snacks to chose from.

Always understaffed. Dont come here unless you have at least 20 minutes to wait in line before going into the movie. Theaters are often too cold, prices are expensive for a subpar experience (people on their phones without ever being talked to by a crew member), and popcorn is often stale. Id recommend going to the Savoy 16.

Clean and freindly staff. Only issue is the lines and the amount of time it takes.to get through them. Plan on arriving at least 20 minutes early.

Cheap ticket Tuesday is the best, make sure ro sign up for the reward program, Stubs Premiere is well worth the money, especially the waived o line convenience fee. Easy to buy tickets on the app and then just scan an go on site. Love the Coke freestyle machines, and the icees...have not tried the other foods yet, but look decent.

LONG wait to get tickets. Two people working during peak hours. VIPs get to skip the line creating a longer wait. Better get there 45-60 minutes early if you want to be on time for your movie. They don’t advertise that you can just go to the ticket taker kiosk directly if you have mobile tickets. The BIGD theatre was HUGE. The chairs were kind of small, but very comfortable.

A bit pricey. But over all I enjoyed the atmosphere. Very clean. Very friendly service.

Only can buy tickets at concession stand and treated like a second class citizen if not a theater member. Waited over 20 minutes to buy ticket despite being first and only person in non members line. Staff was rude. I never write reviews but the way I was treated left me compelled to. They had no popcorn ... How do you not have popcorn? Plenty of nicer theatres in Champaign area, and and will certainly never be back to this one .

I like this movie theater a lot; great food, friendly and helpful staff, comfy chairs, etc; however the ID policy and choosing a seat before you go in can be a bit of a hassle. Also the bathrooms arent always the cleanest.

Fantastic movie experience watching the Last Jedi.

Weve been to a few movies this year. Im glad they updated and clean up the joint a few years back. The time between the appointed time of the show and the start is unbearable. Of course its a business so Im not sure what AMC can do about it. Nice menu choices, and there are lots of them . Ive never eaten there so I can attest to the quality. Reason being its too expensive for me and I dont go to a movie to eat. $20 for a big pretzel and a large drink? Too rich for this idiot.

Was alright. Wanted to pull up the arm rest, to place my arm around someone, and the arm rest dug into my arm. Poor design of the regular seating. Otherwise it was fine.

The local AMC is about as good as it gets re. theaters in this metro area. I do wish they carried some more obscure films other than those distributed by Fathom Events, but Im happy with what we have.

Its pretty chill place for movies. As per usual, everything is so expensive but still, its for a good reason. Just hope that you get a mature audience so you can watch the movie peacefully.

Our new favorite theater out of the big 2 in Champaign. The AMC premier stub club is worth it just for the Tuesday half price tickets. A family of 4 will definitely save money, even if you only go to the movies once a month.

The seats are awful no back support they are so close together I can smell people. No elbow space no personal space. I came here as a last resort and hopefully I will never have to come back.

Clean theater and good projection. Yet I miss the days when theaters used to be monitored by staff. We had a two year old making screeches and noises the last twenty minutes of the movie, and the parents couldnt be bothered to remove them.

Thank you to the staff, for coming in and doing a great job with what seemed to be a chaotic-public event (#avengersendgame)during a busy weekend. I really do feel, sometimes the customers forget to appreciate the team at the movie theaters for being able to do quick and efficient turn overs of the theatres during and the quickness of attending to the customers. As a premier member I had hoped the attendants at the ticket counter would have serviced my requests with a little more efficiency than I received. I didnt want to get the attendant in any trouble but I wont hesitate if it should happen again. I paid more than I should have.

Good place to watch a good movie.

Very slow lines. I came here the other day and management was nowhere to be found when needed. Assigned seating for a slow weekend day isnt necessary and just makes the lines worse. Just have an extra person working to help, the extra $9 per hour isnt going to make you go broke!

My granddaughters and I went to see Frozen II last weekend and they really enjoyed themselves. The movie was great and I teared up at a few scenes, lol. But this isnt a review for the movie. Well, the theater is very clean! A plus! You remember back in the day you wall into the cinema and your stepping on mounds of popcorn and raisinets and some sticky substance gets stuck to the bottom of your shoes and now your mortified because youre like Oh no, whatevers on my shoes, I have to bring all this back into my car with me! Well, you dont have to be worried about that here! The attendants are very good at keeping the isles and floors clean. The lobby is huge and you can get your own drinks, Yay! For adults, they serve alcoholics beverages, Yay! The bathrooms are clean and tidy and dont look spooky and dark! Good for when youre coming out from seeing a scary movie.

A grown man standing behind me in line today couldn’t wait 10 minutes to be helped at the register to pay for a ticket (having one register open at 10am on a Tuesday is perfectly reasonable). He continuously shouted expletives at employees and found a manager to open a register just for him. His behavior was intolerable and childish but the staff reacted promptly and professionally. I’m sorry that this is what you have to deal with probably pretty often.

Lines were extra long and slow

Hadnt been to this theater in years.. interesting menu..very expensive food wise.. it was the middle of the day, during the week, only 1 guy was up front at the food counter and no one to scan our digital tickets or give us 3D glasses.. poor guy had to run around and do all that for us on top of helping other people as he had more food and drink orders. He deserves to be recognized I just wish I remembered his name..It was nice however being in a theater with just my family :)

There were two groups of teenagers in our theaters that were carrying on full conversations, going up and down the stairs and through the rows during the entire movie. Even though an AMC employee was told about the disturbances and came into the theater multiple times to tell the kids to knock it off, they would not kick the kids out. It was outrageous.

Place overcharges you for everything. They even added an Express pass lane for the concessions for a stupid hefty price. Only one good theater in the building, the Big D they call it.

This AMC theater is our favorite local spot for movies. We are premier members, and the extra bucket of popcorn always goes home with us for watching movies at home. We rarely have to wait in line for our tickets and concessions of popcorn. The seats are comfy and the theaters are clean.

Stood in line over 20 minutes waiting to buy tickets. All I wanted was tickets, no food. Finally left line and went home. Movie had already started. Not a very good process to sell food and tickets together.

Im glad the old theather was replaced with this AMC. It still feels very new even after its been there a decent amount of years now. Im disappointed they built the new theater without adding the resturaunt they have in some of their theaters but overall my favorite in the area. The stubs premier membership is definitely worth its weight. Every other trip I end up with $5 rewards, it paid for itself very quickly. Staff is always friendly and quick. Ive never had a single issue here, othee than one time when their giant pretzel first came out and they didnt have any defrosted so their hurried preparation of it ended in a very gross pretzel. I didnt complain, though Im sure if I had it would have been dealt with professional ly.

Very clean theatre, nice seats, good consession offerings. However they sometimes are a bit short staffed at the counter. Pro tip: if you purchase your ticket on the app you dont have to stand in line, you can go straight to the theatre.

Hate the pick your seat system you have. The screen we picked our seat from wasnt the screen we watched our movie on. I picked four center seats from the screen but when I went to sit down the seat number was far the right. How stupid. 3/4 of the people who came in after us just sat where ever they wanted. Its just a stupid system. It feels like it is designed for those who come late. If this is the future of watching movies at AMC, I wont be back. Your trying to problem solve something thats not a problem.

The most important quality honestly, the chairs, were very comfortable. High on my list for most comfortable theaters.Sound and video in the theater was up to par and I didnt notice any issues.

Movie was clean and the people were all nice and friendly..... Prices for the tickets were surprisingly affordable... But the food is really costly .... So unless you wanna pay $20 for a handful of fries and 3 mini chicken strips ... I suggest eating before you go or maybe eat after the movies over ....
