I love the new renovations done here. Not a bad seat in this joint. They sell alcohol now, so even though I dont drink, better times for others. I saw AGAINST ME! and GREEN DAY here, and it sounds phenomenal! Much better than the muddy sound it used to reek of, but that was good for basketball games. I love the history of Assembly Hall/State Farm Center area. Tickets are a bit high, but relative to other areas, cheaper than most. Overall, a great place to watch a game or hit up a concert! My only regret was not seeing TOM PETTY when he played here. I slept on tickets, and now can never see such an awesome performer at a venue that would have done his sound justice, and was told it was beyond phenomenal show! In the next life, TOM!

Went for the exhibition game. Was fun. Hung out in the traditions club and had some food and drink. Kind of pricey but that’s to be expected at any sporting event. Good beer. Decent food. Arena is great. Had a lot of fun.

Awesome venue! Everyone is close the action, really good sight lines even from the upper deck. Electric environment and very easy to access. Stadium is easy to navigate with plenty of concessions and other amenities. I’d recommend catching a game at the State Farm Center!

Ok so let me be clear, the shows that I have seen are great here. The staff is fine. Its usually pretty clean and not that bad. But the thing that causes me to honestly hate going here is the seats. They are extremely uncomfortable. Im a larger guy and I feel extremely embarrassed to sit in these seats. I feel like I an bothering everyone around me because my shoulders are broad and take up most of the neighboring seats. So I spend most of the show adjusting and squirming to try and get at least mildly comfortable and not ruin the experience of the people next to me. But its not just me that has problems. Even my smaller friends say the seats are unreasonably small and uncomfortable. It makes me hate going here. So keep that in mind the next time you get tickets here.

Great place to go to any event. They are very organized and professional.

They have everything down to an exact science. When you go through the line make sure you open your coat. Only see through bags and no cameras. Phones are ok. Have your ticket out and ready to go. Line goes fast that way.

Great venue with good view. Seats are slightly cramped though and food and drinks are crazy expensive. 9$ for a 16oz Budweiser.

Always a great experience to come to the State Farm Center. Security does a good job of keeping things safe, and although the food can be pricey the atmosphere of a sold out game cant be beat by any other fan base in the country! The tickets are usually reasonably priced as well!

Its fine as long as you dont have to use the bathroom while watching a basketball game. And its fine as long as you dont mind missinga good chunk of the game that you paid for each time you use the restroom. Be prepared to wait a minimum of 15 minutes in a line. They just renovated the building, how did they not address the bathroom waiting issue.

We went to see Gabriel Iglesias Wednesday night!! Excellent Show!! I had a cast on and a knee scooter. Your Employees went above and beyond to be accomidating!! They found a better seat that was more accessible! Thank You SO Much!!

Great game to attend (Minnesota). Suggested upgrade (I know it was just overhauled): we sat in section 142, knee room was terrible! Raise the seats 3 to 4 inches...that would be a major help!

Watched a basketball game here. Parking was easy. Easy in and out.

If you get a chance to see a game or a concert here, dont miss out. Anywhere you sit generally has a good view, the seats are padded (WAY better than before lol), and the event staff are always helpful!

Nice facility. We went there for the monster truck tour at April 7th,2018.The seat is comfortable and the show is so heartshaking.

Game was great (Illini vs. Nebraska basketball) I didnt read the enhanced security rules and had to discard my binoculars case because it was not transparent. Dumb rule, IMO

I love that one of my favorite bands came to Champaign again and they were fabulous! Its been awhile. But, I paid a premium price for floor tickets and the seats were so close together it was very unpleasant. I bought the tickets the minute they went on sale, but was unable to chose an aisle, floor seats apparently dont offer. So State Farm Center, if I do darken your doors again Ill attempt a lesser section.

Awesome place to watch a concert. Kenny Chesney done a phenomenal show. With Caroline Jones and David Lee Murphy Parking was super close. And no problem getting out when it was over. High energy very clean atmosphere. Definitely recommend this venue for another concert.

The sound system was great, seating was great and the concert was the best ever.

Concert was Micah Tyler, Crowder & MercyMe as headliner. Show was fantastic, sound & lights great. Easily accessible, fairly easy to navigate, signage & directions good.

This is a nice place to come for a concert. There is plenty of room to get around and to where you need to go. The staff is friendly and will assist you with finding your seat in a timely manner. Like other venues, the food is expensive, but its to be expected. There is plenty of parking, just be prepared to walk a bit since it is spread out and there is not a parking garage close by.

At the time there was no other building quite like it. It was the largest domed structure in North America until 1965 when the Astrodome was built in Houston. The unique architecture involves 614 miles of 1/4 inch steel cable wrapped around the base of the dome to support the roof. Very spacious inside and a great venue for watching Illini basketball and concerts. I saw Olivia Newton John perform here at the height of her career.

Great energy, very big with lots of concessions and other areas; I had a great time watching the game. Only problem I had is that every part of this round stadium looks the same, so it was pretty difficult meeting up with friends already there; however, Im sure if youre better with cardinal directions than I am, youll be just fine.

Employees were very friendly. Also located across street from IHotel. Easy walk.

Great venue for games & concerts. Illini fans are very lively at basketball games. You can see the court well from any seat. Concerts are harder to see from up high.

An excellent place to have a gymnastics meet. There was plenty of close, free parking. It is clean and every staff member I interacted with was friendly and helpful.

The Jeff Dunham show was excellent! the venue not so much. This is the third time I have purchased tickets for an event to have the venue serve hot drinks (beer & soda) cold snack items that should be warm. They close the vending area really early

Better seats than most and thats saying allot. 6 for 4 inches and 270 lbs. Getting out is surprisingly easy.

The renovations are nice but the clear bag policy...no purses...promotes vehicle damage and theft. We wont be going to events there only because of people breaking into cars to steal purses. I know 4 people this has happened to.
