I really like the choices on the playground. The slides are not kid friendly though. My five year old has a hard time staying on because she slides right off and its hard to push too. She does know how to swing by herself, its just has no grip on the seat. They love everything else. My five year old loves to climb so the massive climbing thing is the best part of the entire playground for her. I wish there were more things for the younger ones(ages 2-4) to do. The tiny slide and 2 swings is all the have really that are age appropriate. Nonetheless, we love it here!!Oh! the green field is excellent for running and playing with a ball. Love how theyve remodeled this park!

If you dont frequent this part of Chamblee, you would never know about this secret park. Sandwiched between an industrial/business section of the city and Peachtree Dunwoody Road, there is parking in the Sheltering Arms parking lot. The park includes a playground. Picnic table, Volley ball area. Benches, bike rack, diaper changing station and an open field.
