I love it! Since there early 80s this book store has been here and hasnt changed much! Great selection of used books separated by genre and in alphabetical order!

One bookstore that has kept me coming back for another read. Has a nice selection of used books and a nice children’s section as well. Clean and a good helpful staff. Decent size for a nice used book store. If your a romance reader ( which case I’m not) then this is the place for you. Lots to choose from.

They have such a fun and diverse collection of books. There are places for you to sit and read. The staff is very helpful if you have question.

The bookstore has a great selection and I used to love coming here. Lately the hours have been changing all the time and you never know if the store is going to be open or closed. The atmosphere is great for a used bookstore the the staff is very friendly, but its hard to buy books if the store is never open!

This is a quaint bookstore in the heart of downtown Chambersburg. Its small on the outside, but grows once inside. Many rooms with gently used and collectable collections.Warm and friendly, wingback chairs to relax and sample your finds.

Amy at Northwood Books has everything a reader as well as book collector could dream of! Her shop is packed full of all types of genres and comfy chairs tucked here and there to sit down and read a bit!

Owner is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The store is bigger inside than it looks and comfortably arranged with spots to sit and encourages browsing. With paper to hardback, new to collectable, one could hide in here for days. Also saw some French and Spanish books.

Very pleasant environment. Nice little nooks to grab a book and read.

I got gift cards for friends and the owner of this bookstore hand writes them. Then she places them in a gift bag with extra goodies. Not only is the bookstore a magical location for book lovers but the staff is lovely.

Such a quaint shop to stop in ! Then browse every nook & cranny and sit a while to critique books you find before purchasing ! It is well worth it to go inside & look around ! The owner, Ami, is very hospitable !

Collecting, the store is neat a good bit of choice . Prices are what you’d expect . Staff friendly and knowledgeable.

Superior selection at modest prices accompanied by knowledgeable owners..plus one gets too tie rolls and 15% reward when books brought back for resale.
