Nice small cinema. Shows most of the movies available in other theaters. Not super fancy, but still my favorite place to watch a movie. You can buy tickets on the website. The kids love the kid trays and its nice to not have to wait in long lines for tickets or food or have to worry about over crowded shows. The food is a little cheaper than other places which is nice too.

Great small theater with almost all the movies i want to see and some i have never heard of but would love to see... Always easy to get into and rarely ever crowded... We were 2 of about 15 folks last tie we went Its not fancy, but it certainly does a good job... the staff are very friendly and the seats are comfortable with plenty of leg room and reclining chairs.

My favorite place to see a movie! It is clean, affordable & convenient. The staff is very professional & pleasant. They always have current movies and its never too crowded. Everything is clean & well maintained. The bathrooms are super clean too.

Good place to go if you dont want the crowds. Great for kids. A little dated and dingy though.

The people at Chalmette Movies are always kind and going beyond . The theater is small and intimate perfect for a date night without having to deal with the lines like at the larger theaters. Only thing is that I wish they had an awards program.

Saw the boss it was funny . The place was clean not as expensive as other movie places . They have a good snack bar . No bar for alcohol though.

The pricing for refreshments is ridiculous no lie thats why I did a 4-star rating but the movie theater was clean the restrooms was clean and my children love their overall experience happy children equals a happy mother I will be returning soon I will not let the refreshments keep me away

Nice, clean and quite! Been there a few times. Never too crowded. Went there to go watch a movie and the lights went out (something with the plant down the street had exploded or something). The staff was really nice and even given us another ticket to come back and watch a movie whenever we wanted to return

Its a smaller out of the way theater with decent seats food service and most importantly: less crowded. Note: probably does not apply to big movies on opening weekend. Family friendly local place.

Not a good place to walk past at night especially in the summer or during the weekend. Lots of unattended children of the ghetto variety.

I think $5.95 for a happy hour movie is great. The theatre wasnt packed only a few stragglers who love moves, which I didnt mind. The clerks were nice. Place and bathrooms were very clean food kinda pricey $7.00 for nachos but the popcorn was worth it. Unfortunately they dont sell coffee at this theatre but there is a spot in the lobby where you can buy coffee. And its pretty good

They have so many different movies here and everyone greet you with a smile. I would give this place 5 stars but the snacks and everything or extremely pricey.

Best movie theatre around. Get the mixed icees - yum. Ellis and Winnie know everything about every movie ever made so you can get good advice about what to see and what not to see. Always clean.

It was refreshing to browse through the shopping center. I found a variety of great bargins. It has a food store, men and women clothing stores, jewelry, hair and accessories, restaurants, shoe store and a movie theater. I been to the theater before. Ticket and food prices are reasonable. They feature the latest movies, clean theater and restrooms. Check it out.

This is an excellent strip mall layout...I have literally spent hours in this place. Big L...cant get enough, I get lost in there, friendly but not fast checkout. Hot Wok...decent buffet - quality inconsistent, friendly service. Save A Lot...beautiful produce, selection of meat cuts nice and pink...clean store. Sols had me pick up some earrings for the grand daughter. This was my visit...but trust me...either way...you can create a family day or an Im just gonna do me day - within this establishment. Parking was adequate.

This place, even though it has been rebuilt in the last ten years, reminded me of going to the movies when I was a kid in the eighties. Prices for matinees arent bad. Concession prices are about on par with the chains. Not huge seating areas, and some of the seats are already showing wear. Generally a good place for a movie if you really want to see it on the big screen and dont want to drive out to Jefferson Parish or deal with French Quarter traffic. Sound and visuals were fine. Pokemon Go Stop in the lobby!

Chalmations are weird.. Going anywhere in chalmette will make you want to leave immediately.. The way things look out there is misleading.. It is a paper mache nightmare full of hillbillies and drug addicts, including the st bernard police.. Ive never seen so much inbreeding in my life!!! Everyone has the same last name its so effing weeeiiirrrddd!!! So yeah just about everything, such as this cinema, is corrupted.. But at least its cheap, like the women there.

The theater did not have any movies showing before 1200. The lady behind the counter was nice and gave me directions.

The seating is very nice but people are very rude. People behind me kept kicking my seat, and these girls were on their phones the WHOLE entire time! The same girls also knocked down me and my friends popcorn and didnt say sorry. Besides that, loved the movie!

I enjoy going to eat at Hot Wok all you can eat restaurant with my kids an afterwards we head over to Chalmette Cinema we love going there to watch the latest movies food an drinks is good the staff there an at Hot Wok is very pleasant

Seeing a movie here is like travelling back in time to the late 80s, plus its clean and cheap. Id rather see a movie here than Canal Place any time.
