Great place to get away for a few hours. Clean poker machines and kind waitresses. Free cocktails while gambling if youre a drinker. If not free sodas. Have dinner right next door if youre a winner at the Palms Too! Great food!

The Palms Casino has an expansive menu with plenty of options for everyone. They have a large selection of steaks, seafood, and New Orleans favorites. They have a very nice salad bar with plenty of fresh options and very good salad dressings. The prices run from about 13 dollars up to about 60.00. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive. The only downside to the Palms is the dishes are occasionally inconsistent.

I was a bit hesitant the first time I came here. But very pleasantly surprised with delicious food!! The pasta and seafood are excellent!! My husband and family members have had the steak and really enjoyed it. Weve had excellent service and had a new server that was still learning but we didnt hold that against her :)Highly recommend!!

Ordered a chicken avocado panini and fried broccoli/brussel sprouts for pickup at lunch. Told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived 15 minutes later and waited an additional 20 minutes. That is why 4 stars. The food was very good. The chicken on the panini was very tasty and the dont skimp on the bacon and avocado! The combo broccoli/spouts were very good as well!

Definitely a friendly environment for all ages ( obviously true or 21 or older) also the food always has looked amazing when looking at the picturesSadly I have yet to try it because well maybe if I wouldn’t spend all my money in the casino beforehand , I would have money to actually buy something to eat lolol

Overnight truck parking is $10, there is a restaurant in the casino with a great menu. The quality and quantity of the menu items is great as the prices are very reasonable. The appetizers are large enough for 3, the shrimp and grits are seasoned perfectly, and the creamed spinach is wonderful. I will definitely be back to work through the rest of the menu.

Dont try to get a coffee or anything to drink here. 3 times I was ignored. Spend $1000 a week here & cant get coffee cuz too busy talking & joking with her friends. Maybe I should take my $1000 a week elsewhere. No shortage of casinos.

The menu is varied - seafood, Cajun, comfort, and some creative mixtures and it is delicious! They start you with a basket of hot garlic bread and it gets better. I had the country fried steak with a baked sweet potato and I was too full to try a dessert.

Stopped in for lunch...food was pretty good...over priced for what it was though...$8.00 hamburger for $12.00 kind of deal and four dollars for a 12 oz can coors light...yikes! The bar service was good and friendly. Nothing to rave about. Walked over to the casino hoping to do some gambling and every single machine was nothing but poker. Like why have a hundred machines that are exactly all thw same. We didnt stay.

Great food in a large place with lots of choices

The service in the casino is horrible unless you are one of their favourite. At night the workers are so busy playing the machines till you aggravate when you need change. With the Covid 19 virus going on they not wiping the machines down and you only need a face mask to enter than everyone takes it off after that. And i must say social distance is just a joke. I will not be back

Didnt go to the casino... Restaurant was nice and the Food was hot and delicious with generous portions... The salad bar was really good and everything was fresh and good selection of items. The garlic bread is good. Steaks came out sizzling. Always delicious and the service is great.

For a place in the parish its nice. The decor is really nice with good service. The salary bar was really good and everything was fresh with a good selection. The menu was really big which might be why a lot of the food tasted old. The fish wasnt fresh. The chicken looks like it just came off the grill (the plate burnt my finger it was so hot). The chicken was also very small for the price and it was burnt with very little taste to it. Just all around bad cooking if the food. But at least the salad was good. If that means anything.

They should have more facilities for the truck driver, like showers and Lounge, since theres nothing out there like a major truck stop.

This is one of the coolest places to stay. Right up from a national landmark. Where the battle of new Orleans took place. Everyone was super friendly. And was able to get a taxi ride for 17.00 down to bourbon street. Taxi just up the road ask for Robbi he was very friendly and made the whole experience better. The palms restaurant is some of the best food u will ever eat dont think they make a bad thing in there. Manager and waitresses super friendly making it a fun meal. Only complaint is bathroom could be cleaner and showers are under construction until march.Not a bad part of town feel safe. And great place for a dog to run and have fun.

Huge menu, friendly staff, good food. Plenty of seating in this casual restaurant that works equally well for an informal dinner, a large group get-together, or a business lunch meeting. The shining star here for me is their salad bar, which has a huge array of fresh ingredients, unusual toppings, and fantastic unique dressings. Something for everyone here.

Grilled pork chops and sweet potato casserole to die for. The absolute best.

This is for the restaurant in the casino. It is deceptively nice for being in a truck stop casino. The entrance is to the right of the casino entrance. The menu has its strengths and weaknesses, and it suffers from not being busy enough that the waitstaff stays attentive. The garlic bread is good. The seafood bisque is very tasty, but the French onion soup had a little too much cheese and the broth lacked depth. The shrimp cocktail had on four shrimp for about ten dollars, which seemed a little pricey, but the were cooked perfectly. Skip the macaroni and cheese. Good drinks for a decent price.

Had our church council mtg last night. Food came out staggered, but was hot upon arrival-- which to me is mire important than all the food arriving at one time. My glass was kept full, & didnt have to ask for much. Good food too! Had the fried seafood combo (shrimp&stuffed crab) YUM!

Customer Service lacking...Only 3 people in our party. Ordered the Alfredo pasta. Ate at the salad bar. And after 45 minutes still no entree. Watched a party of 8 that arrived after us served a full meal including appetizer, wine and entrees. Wish I could say the food made up for the poor service. But we were cut off after one trip to the salad bar after watching several others return.Service sucks. Karen was the manager. Wouldve appreciated a compd meal.

I wish I could write a legit review about this place but i cant. Since the bartender never offered me a drink or a menu, but I can say this. Shes struggling with her payments. Something about her swimming class blah blah blah. I know that cause of the 10 minutes i was sitting there. Thats what she was talking about to a guy with a suit and tie. She walked passed me 2 and nothing. After she left the area and went to the back. I was done. Embarrassed over the people just looking at me just sitting there amd not getting service i decided to go to Subway instead. Aint no way i would pay 30 for a tbone steak with that service.

When ms Betty used to work at the casino I would’ve given them a 4.5 but she no longer works there. At the truck stop They would get a 2 Star because their cigarettes are overpriced and they have no amenities to accommodate their customers. Things such as a garbage can by the gas pumps, window washing fluid with paper towels, air for tires are a few to name that they will not provide.

Restaurant: The wait staff was nice and the prices were reasonable. They have generois portions and the food was cooked amazingly. No smoking in restaurant.Casino: All computer slots with no tables. Smoking is allowed in the casino.Truck stop: The truck stop does not have a shower and overnight parking is $10.

The Casino allows smoking unlike the ban in New Orleans Casinos, however the air quality system is very good. Always clean with prompt waitresses serving.

Very nice spot in St Bernard. The menu is large and has plenty of options for those that cant decide. I ordered the Mahi Mahi tacos which were good but my coworker ordered the chicken parmesan and that looked amazing. Unfortunately, no pictures but I would recommend this new spot to anyone looking for a great meal in that area.

Parking lot is made up of drivers that pay to have a parking spot. Restroom is a one holer and 1 at a time only.

Past 3 times Ive been here the price per gallon at the pump doesnt match the price on the sign. Went just now: sign said $2.49, price at the pump was $2.61. Definitely not accidental, definitely dishonest.

We gassed up on 11/15/14, very convenient, BUT the advertised price per gallon (on their sign) was ten cents per gallon LESS than what was delivered on the pump. Even using the new math this is not good. No mention was made about cash price vs Credit card. we were disappointed...wont be back.

Ordered 20oz N.Y. strip, when it came out one side was burned so bad it resembled charcoal, and the other side looked as if it was still alive. Then given dirty looks from the elderly woman behind the bar. Over priced, horrible steak. Go somewhere else.

This is a Great place With Wonderful People and Great Tasting Food and thats really hard to find them both in one spot !!!
