Great Regional Park.Has an abundance of different paths, grass, lights, ducks, and swans that add to the beauty.Rarely any crimes and feels very safe.Aside from bird poop near the lake there is little to none dog poop.There is also a pool, tennis courts, basket ball courts, baseball court, 3 play grounds, 2 gym areas, and abundant barbecue sets4 different parking lots that always have parking space.Most people are friendly neighborhood residents who mostly wear masks.

Well-kept park with plenty of space to roam, fishing available in the ponds, and a skate park. (mind where you step by the lack because of the bird poop)

Great park, lots of different trails and amenities. Unfortunately, several people are walking around without masks on. Also the area around the water is a bit disgusting with the bird poop that has accumulated. Otherwise a lovely place for a socially dististanced walk.

Absolutely stunning park with a great walking trail and people who always seem to be friendly. Park had wide open spaces, abstract art which is a Delight to look upon and a pond in the middle of the park. The pond looks man-made with a really bright blue tint somewhat like the staff added too much blue dye but still a nice addition to the park. There is also active wild life, mainly birds and ducks that are frequently fed by the common bystander and have no fear of humans. I personally love this park for a stroll or run. Exactly one lap around the trial I run is 1 miles so it makes it easy to track your progress. Highly recommended

Well kept park. A lot of parking lake, skate park tennis courts. Very pleasant to walk around. Well lighted.

A nice place for walking around the whole block starting from 195th Street to Del Amo Blvd to Bloomfield Avenue... The place is clean and well maintained and lighted. I always go with my daughter and her friends who played tennis ....

Very nice park with a man made lake, places to hold get togethers, and plenty of grass for picnics (do be mindful of the duck pooh). There are even two work out areas. I will definitely be visiting this family friendly park again.

I enjoy going to this sports complex. Lots to do and plenty of space for all activities. Location is great too!

I grew up going to this park and was excited to start taking my own children here. However, it has become so overrun with ducks and you can barely walk around without stepping in duck poo.

Its a beautiful park. The park has nice shaded picnic tables and plenty of barbecue pits. Clean restrooms. Its in a safe neighborhood.

Always loved this park. Very popular with the greater cerritos community, good walking trail, great facilities for families and its safe.

Bathroom very dirty very bad odor on the bathroom need pine oil..the lake you cant even walk to much bird pup.. very dirty park...los Angeles Park needs to clean this place is in cerritos..we payed high taxes.

The fields are really good and its a nice place to go for a walk.

I love coming here for the outdoor exercise gym and getting away from work. The water is vibrate blue since it dyed and pretty to my eyes. Very clean, big for everyone to enjoy all kind of activities even fishing at the lake. Ducks are well behaved lol. Come and watch the sunset sitting on the bleacher when Im tired of the beach scene. Restroom is clean.

Big enough to do good walking exercise with view of wild birds around large pond at the center of park. Many restrooms and water fountains, picnic tables and benches throughout. Ample parking spaces available during week days. Need to make reservation for picnic facilities use by calling cerritos city hall. Weekends and holidays are popular with peoples from surrounding cities. Sometimes hard to find parking space although street parking is allowed.

Thank goodness this is within a couple of lights from my place. I really enjoy my walk to and from. Great atmosphere to relax in peace and walk to the scenic view around you.

LOVE IT! So much free space. Tennis courts, skate board area, basketball, a pond you can fish in with real fish being dumped into the pond. Maybe different areas. Love it

A great place to walk and exercise. Lots of parking and huge. Basketball, baseball, futbol, tennis and an open field(s) for just about anything you want. It even has an area to do pull ups, resistance training, and crunches, etc. This is a great park to be in! And if you’re interested in grilling, it has that too. Just be early or else they’re gone especially on weekends.

I have great memories in this park. This is where I use to go to fish. They still stock the pond but there are so many ducks and birds its kinda dirty. Not sure what kind of diseases birds carry, but its definitely a place for catch and release. I have much respect for Don Knabe as he was a great advocate of parks and rec. They have multiple programs that you can sign up for there as well. You can jog the perimeter and skate the bowl as they have a SKATE PARK there. Yes, you can do do your grind or kick flips in their skate area. They have nice tennis courts as well as baseball/ soccer fields. Its a multi use park and its great for families.

I love this park! They have tennis courts, basketball courts, a baseball field, and basic outdoor workout machines. I like to come here to walk around the park and get my steps in for the day. The water fountain is pretty just beware of the duck poop. Other than that this is one of my favorite parks to go to. The restrooms are surprisingly clean and have soap unlike other parks Ive been to. There is plenty of parking. This is a great place to go for a jog, walk, or have a picnic.

Beautiful lake, quiet place on a weekday late morning. Plenty of green space and walking/bike path! Family friendly gathering areas, ballfields. We enjoyed the tranquility here. Named for the man who, as mayor of Cerritos, guided city during tragic air disaster.

I really enjoy working out here, walking, jogging and like the bike path. With covid-19, little upsetting to see the city decided to close baseball fields, but leave open soccer and tennis. City decision I know, and literally the only bad thing I can say about the park. Its beautiful! Oh, be careful of the geese/duck poopie....its everywhere they are, lol.

This is the one of the large park has dozen tennis court , swiming pool, big fish catching (need licence) pond with big goose & ducks, of course big greens capable , muli baseball and soccer teams play , but private party of wedding or birthday or whatever , least Administrations, feel easy and the most of all , easy in and out of parking and even in this pandemic hard time, i practice my chacha ballroom dance routine & line dance at quiet corner , (masks on) so remember the steps for the normal days back. Just drop by and youll like this place

Very peaceful. Its spacious and is good for kids. My sister did have 5 dollars taken by a duck while we fed one but she was showing it off . Just good memories. I would throw a party here, feed ducks, even have a picnic for two.

Very clean park, nice peaceful, good place to have family picnics. Just remember to have someone go early to get the prime locations. Picnic benches are clean and I ddidnt see graffiti. There is a skate park and all sorts of sports fields. Soccer basketball tennis. Big playground circuit training area. These folks out here have no excuse for obesity. Very nice overall. Grass is always greener...

This place is very nice and calm, you can walk around the lake.

Nice park around a lake. There is an open work out area which is really awesome. There a lot of birds around the lake though - ducks and other kind. The walk ways are not really clean and has a lot of bird drops.

This is a very nice park. Green grass, nice lake, beautiful community center. It is very spacious too and parking is abundant. I play softball at the sports complex right next door as well. Nice place to get away to and just relax, spend some time in nature right in the midst of the concrete jungle. I haven’t had an major event here so I don’t know what it is like to rent areas or what not but it seams like it would be a great place to have a party. Not much to post on a park lol but I hope this helps someone considering visiting this place for the first time.

One of most cleanest parks around the restrooms are still closed due to covid.

I went down to the river bed to run up and down the trench and it was a good time.

Good place to walk and run. But the routes around the ponds are always covered in duck poop. Also wounds park in the middle of a lot. Running one day and lady had her stuff stolen inside her car with window broken. Cop only parks under the tree by tennis courts and she parked on the main office lot. Good exercise equipment for circuit and running intervals.

Beautiful big park with every amenity one can think of. Swimming pool, exercise machines outdoor, tennis courts, picnic spots, walking tract. Jogging tract, pond, lots of ducks and on and on.

We went here to play Pokémon Go, and its a wonderful park! Lots of birds gathered at the lake, very scenic.

Lakes.... ducks... playgrounds... outdoor gyms... live entertainment... I cant believe I hadnt been here before! Im always seeking out new places for walks/jogs/hikes and this seemed perfect... Its also up the street from the Cerritos Towne Center, so I can indulge after! ;)Was going to drive out to Cerritos to pick up a friend for dinner after work... It had been a rough day, so we had already decided on dessert for dinner! LOL As I thought about it, searching through my bookmarks, I figured we could squeeze in some healthy stuff since the rest of the night would be doomed!Weather was wonderful & the surroundings even better! But this place was PACKED!! The main lot was a bit congested, but you can always park over in the adjacent Sports Complex lot. We came across two gym areas - both were completely utilized! This is a good thing.. Well, unless you were one of the peeps awaiting your turn! There were a couple man-made lakes; somehow the ducks & geese knew to avoid the (artificially) blue fountain, but they frolicked everywhere else!We happened to come on a Wednesday night, during their Hot Summer Nights; pleasantly surprised by the live music! We didnt stick around but they show family films as the night progresses. It was nice to see families gathering on their blankets and chairs in anticipation of the nights events!Its a great place for kids, dog walking, people watching, pre-dessert-for-dinner calorie burning.... :P

I had an amazing experience planning my daughter’s 1st Birthday at this park. Angel was the sweetest person to work with!! She was knowledgeable about every part of the park so picking a spot with her was so easy! She explained all the rules and helped out with my planning as well. The park was beautiful and perfect and all my guests really enjoyed the party!

HUGE park! Had a company picnic here recently and loved the place. So many fun stuff to do especially this summer time. Highly recommended for families. Lots of good spots to take photos
