I love this park. It has everything and its a really nice place to take the kids

My daughter in law had her baby shower there recently, and it was really nice. The reserved shelter was clean, spacious, playground adjacent, and damn near almost everything. The park itself is beautiful and has pretty much everything you would expect in a park, and then some...

Great place to take a family walk. Very peaceful

There are lots of amenities at Cerritos Park East, including but not limited to an all-weather running track (non-regulation), paved walking path, tennis courts, squash courts, baseball fields, and soccer field. Under normal pre-pandemic circumstances, they also had a gym, swimming pool, and varieties of classes such as dance and art.On the negative side, unfortunately too many dog owners simply dont pick up after their pets.

Used to go there with my family back in the day to play racquet ball,,,park has sent changed but the surroundings have,,,a lot... you should ck it out...

Beautiful and functional with well kept grounds. The only drawback was people not disposing of their trash when the trash cans are full. Because of the pseudo pandemic trash is not collected properly which is why I gave it four stars instead of five like the other parks in Cerritos.

This is a great park, it has several locations you could rent out to throw a party. it has a gazebo, it has basketball courts and a pool. Everybody could have their own space without running into each other, its a vast and grand park I highly recommended for an event.

Nice park, well maintained. WORKING WATER FOUNTAINS, the paths are a bit meh but they do the job. It doubles as a sports complex so there are a lot of people, some table areas have sinks and outlets, as well as shaded seats. The restrooms are bad but that is in every park so no surprise there. Good place to take a nap, just lock your belongings somewhere safe.

This is a nice cozy neighborhood park baseball fields, basketball courts jogging path and safe areas for the kids to play,always well maintained.

Quiet clean park! Love walking the track or just relaxing under the big shades of tree. The people are friendly, along with the Cerriros staff. They have a city gym there that is accessible to members only. Great cozy gym with pool. One of the cleanest park around nested between homes and businesses.

Nice place to cardio, jogging. I saw group of people playing flag football, tennis. I dont how the reservation works for the court and fields or if its first come first serve

After a long day or eating a meal, I love taking a stroll around the park. There are so many activities that you can participate in such as baseball, basketball or handball. If you ever need a basketball just head over to their front desk with your library card or drivers license (any ID card of yours is fine).

Parking tends to be limited and/or tight. This park has MANY recreational classes and athletic training which is great for the kids.

Its okay but now its too crowded so you can hardly enjoy it

Staff is friendly, janitorial is rude.Park is clean, but needs to be better lit at night where the kids play on the play equipment.

Great place to have a private walk around the darker circle path or the generously lit track. Recommend to everyone who wants to be around other people exercising and positive vibes from a diverse community.

Nice park that is fairly large, an Olympic pool, recreation center, track, multiple baseball fields, tennis and basketball courts, and pavilions for events.

Peacful. Loaded with things to do or you can just spectator visit. Clean and well lit at night. Early morning power and dog walkers. People are friendly for the most part. This park has saved me from a lot many times. It was my refuge from things.

I grew up in Cerritos and this was my childhood park back in the 70s. Its nice to see the trees matured, the toys upgraded, and the grounds just as clean and kept as they were back then.

This is our favorite place to go in the early evening, very peaceful. Nice and clean, you can watch kids play baseball have a picnic or just go for a nice walk around the park.Yes sometimes its crowded, but its really a great park.

The pool and facility is very clean and theres not too many people in the morning! Its a great place to workout before work.

Great park. Extremely clean and ok staff. Awesome place to throw birthday parties for children. It would be nice if the staff didn’t hover over you (after renting out an area). We get it; don’t damage the property. However, this city makes a lot of money. I’m sure a thumb tack won’t hurt wood.

Great tennis courts and always a good place for a good run

Well-maintained baseball fields with good lighting and bleachers. Folks like the snack bar. Has other amenities and pool, good parking, in a nice neighborhood..... kind of a hidden gem.

Very clean park, overall the set up is nice! They have a small sand area. The play area does not have sand, more like foam. Your kids will have fun there... they have bbq grills also... but in guessing its a nightmare when parties are going on.

Beautiful day at the park

Cerritos Park East is tucked away in an older but charming neighborhood of Cerrtios. I love to go for walks on the track or simply around the entire park. The park always has people there enjoying themselves even as late 10pm. In door swimming pool, basketball courts, tennis courts, racket ball, baseball diamonds, are pretty inviting and popular. I caught a glimpse of this hawk and wanted to share it. Birds of prey are visible more and more now

Decent park, lots of play options but Interney and cell phone connections are horrible.

Peaceful park, always maintained and clean. Restrooms are stocked with paper goods and trash is empty. Grass, bushes and trees all kept up and groomed.

This park is super beautiful, theres always a beautiful sunset that sets every day at 6 pm

We had a reception at CPE. Parking is always a problem. The room for the reception was fine. The employees working the desk had no personality. We were told that there would be help cleaning up afterwards, but there wasnt any help. No more functions at CPE.

Really nice park. Has two playgrounds. One small, and a rather big one that has everything a child could want. Park has about 5 or 6 huts for organized get togethers or simple picnics. Has a track for walking. Three baseball fields. A splash area thats open during the summer. And theres a HQ of sorts that has bathrooms inside. Quite a nice park

Great, safe for sports and picnics. The city does a nice job with up-keep. Park well-lit and not too large, but has basketball, baseball, tennis, swimming, raquetball, a great walking track and easy parking.

First time visiting this park and it was a great experience. Grounds were clean and well maintained. Womens restroom in back was ok. Could have used more paper about 5pm but we were able to use our own. Very nice safe atmosphere.

I enjoyed myself at Cerritos Park East. Its nice to walk around the park and around the pond. There were friendly people and the park was very clean from parking lot to the restrooms very well maintained

Big picnic area close to the play area

One of the nicest cleanest parks in the south Los Angeles area. Cerritos takes great care of this and its other parks. It is well used, but also nicely groomed. There are always people, but still a nice corner to relax in. The walks are lit for an evening stroll, and the track and diamonds are lit for evening activities all year round.

Great park for the whole family

The appeal of this park is that it has a bit of everything but is smaller than most parks. This park has a couple of basketball courts, about four tennis courts, an indoor swimming pool (though, the hours are a bit quirky), handball courts (not team handball, but the one where you use your hand to hit the ball against a wall), a rubberized track (about 5 laps is a mile, as the distance of one lap is less than a standard 400 meter track), baseball fields, a couple of playgrounds, and picnic table areas. I personally come here a lot for the track for my running workouts. The track can get crowded on evenings, but navigating and weaving in between people usually isnt an issue. Walkers generally stay towards the outside of the track, while the runners tend to stay towards the inside of the track. If the track isnt your thing, there is also a circular-ish pathway around the park (and I think it is about a half mile if you take the long way). Just a note about the bathrooms, though. Even though the park closes around 10 PM, Ive noticed that the bathrooms tend to close a lot earlier (closer to 9 PM or so). That caught me by surprise a few times, so be mindful of the possibility that the bathrooms might close before the park closes. Parking can get a bit hairy on a few of the weekday evenings (I think its because of swimming lessons for kids), so something to keep in mind. However, circling around the parking lot a few times usually does the trick. Overall, a great park that offers a lot for its smaller size (compared to other parks).

Came here for a surprise 80th birthday party and since I had never been here, didnt know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to see how big the room(s) are so they can accommodate a large gathering if needed. Loved the fact that it had air conditioning and that it worked! Bathrooms were nice and clean. Some of the toilet seats could stand to be upgraded, but regardless still nice. The park itself is awesome! Something for every age to do which is very nice. Hope to come here again for another family event.

Great park to visit. It is large, safe, and has lots of amenities! The grass is always manicured and clean. There are also a lot of stations that can be requested for parties or events.

I come to this park to play pick up basketball, walk and sometimes to play tennis.The parking can get crowded when there are events going on at the swim center, baseball fields, or just a big group picnic reservation.Overall, it is pretty family friendly and most of the people that come to the park are friendly and relaxed.Great lighting at night for walking, basketball, tennis, etc.
