Without this studio, I would not have gotten into the college I wanted. I learned so much here and grew a lot as an artist. The teachers are so helpful and they really want you to succeed. I was able to create and build my portfolio from nothing and get into all the schools that I had applied for!

If I did not go to this institution, I would have never known about Theater Design. I prepped my portfolios for college applications and the experience and the education was amazing. It does change lots of perspectives as an artist.

I had no idea what costume design sketch or scenic rendering was, but within six months(short period but I almost lived in this institution 9am-8pm everyday), I was able to create the entire portfolio for my transfer application and got accepted to multiple schools(including my dream school!) and able to get much scholarship as well(Its nearly impossible for an international students to get any scholarships for undergraduate program, so its was like miracle!)! Highly recommend! Mr.Soo is hands-on education is highly effective. Hes also very friendly and amazingly caring. Great mentor figure and educator. I highly recommend Spotcolor.

Mr. Soo is a really great educator, mentor, and cool dude. Taking classes here made me well prepared me for art school and a creative career afterwards. The portfolio I created here also got me a very BIG scholarship that made private college tuitions more affordable. What I learned here: adobe suite, technical drawing skills, visual communication, learning how to put a portfolio together, creative thinking. Now Im working my dream job as a fashion designer and taking classes here helped me achieve that. the friends I made from Mr. Soos classes 10 years ago are all in creative professions now so if you want to be a designer/artist/whatever I highly recommend this studio.
