My Special place to take friends and family to create masterpieces and memories. The attention given by Tasha and Jesse to each of us as novice hobbiests enables untapped creativity to unfold into works of precious art. I return again and again to explore and create as often as I can. Thank you, Kevin, Jesse and Tasha for sharing your talents.

Have gone to Central glass works several times and love the staff and the way they work with you and explain and come up with new ideas. The variety of choices and options for classes and the small town shop atmosphere makes it worth the drive south. It is nice to have a safe friendly place especially during all the craziness of the world to continue to experience the amazing art of glass blowing and love sharing all my finished glass treasures. Even got to try something new. Thanks again. Will definitely be coming back!

A group of 4 women had a great time puffing their cheeks trying to blow glass ornaments - what a great time! The instructors were very helpful and the whole activity was really fun. I bought an activity here through living social or something like that for a group of 4 to each make 2 ornaments. It was a pretty good deal, but even without the special pricing I think regular price for this activity is worth it. They had many items on display for things you could make in other classes.... I would love to go back and make a glass pumpkin! For this class we each left with 2 ornaments that we can treasure for years to come or gift to someone who would enjoy them. Great fun!

This was a random stop on a trip through Washington on I-5. So glad we stopped! Everyone there was friendly and knowledgeable. We got to watch some glass blowing in process, and they explained everything to us as they went along. They were happy to answer all of our many questions and show us the workshop. The gallery is full of beautiful things made right there, both functional and decorative. The prices were very reasonable. I am definitely going back when Im in the area again. Local artisans worthy of our support!!!

Central Glass Works offers a Saturday morning glass blowing class, along with private lessons and regular glass blowing demonstrations. The Saturday morning class was excellent, providing a supervised hands on experience in making 1 or 2 items that is appropriate for a first time. In a small group, i was able to determine what I wanted to make, pick the colors, turn and blow the glass (several times) and heat while turning the glass in furnace. Later I enjoyed watching them make other pieces. I was able to pick up the glass 24 hours later.

Not going to lie, we had an amazing time. So much fun! My best friend and I found a groupon and came in on Saturday morning for a little hot air with the crew. We each walked away with 2 small pieces for $98 total, a smile on our face and friendly folks to visit next time we come to town.

What a fun experience!! My husband and I went to the Saturday morning class, he made a vase and I made two ornaments (with help LOL) We learned a lot and it was fascinating to watch! The owner and his staff are very knowledgeable about the process and explain each step to you. I highly recommend signing up for a class! I had to nudge my husband to go, but on the way home he said he was glad he went and that he had fun :)

Although a little expensive for me, the experience was great! The staff were all so friendly and helpful, giving me constructive pointers and really making me feel comfortable during the whole process. I booked an (individual but in a group) session so there were six other strangers with me, but I never felt like I wasnt included in the session or that I was forgotten. :)

Awesome place. I took my girlfriend here for a class, and we had a wonderful time. We were total noobs when it comes to glassblowing, but the staff were super cool, friendly, and patient with us as we learned some of the techniques. I was amazed by the pieces we were able to make, and my girlfriend really enjoyed the experience. I would highly recommend taking a class here and checking out their artwork!

Kevin and his crew are fantastic! Id never worked with glass before, but in just 2 hours they were familiarize me with the basic process, and actually get me working with glass to create my own paperweights and ornaments. The atmosphere is light, fun and friendly. We didnt have any children in our group, but the next group did, so we were able to see that Kevin is an amazing instructor for all ages. I walked out of there with not only some great pieces, but also the itch to continue to explore glasswork and move onto more complex and intensive projects. Would that I lived closer; its going to be hard to find another studio as awesome as this one.

We booked the Livingsocial 2 hour private workshop. Overall experience was disappointing as my daughters glass ornament broke during the overnight cool down process, and we were basically told that happens. There was no offer for replacement alternatives. We’ve done glass blowing on several occasions at different studios and always walked away pleased. Its turning into a family hobby. This time I had reservations from the first greeting where we were asked to touch a bowl that after the fact was revealed to be someone’s ashes mixed into the glass. The actual glass blowing session did go smoothly and the owner did a good job working with the kids (ages 10 and 12) completing all projects in half the expected time. The ornaments and suck bowls produced however turned out to be quite fragile and hardly functional if we don’t want them broken.
