The staff is professional but caring. They have a great space to host events of any type!

Great course with 27 holes. Judging just from the clubhouse and the course maintenance you would think this is a private club - it isnt.One of the best public courses in our area. Additionally they hold leagues, outings, simulator golf in the winter, and have fantastic food. During Lent they offer Friday fish frys which are great. Lovely place to be.

Yankee offers a variety of courses that you can mix up to create a handful of golfing experiences. Great staff, great food, very well maintained courses, and a nice challenge overall. Gps-driven carts are a nice touch. Get there early, the place fills up fast, and for good reason!

The impressive Clubhouse leads to one of South Daytons most popular public courses surrounded throughout by a beautiful golf-housing community. The course offers 27 holes with a decent track and condition. The sand traps were exceptional. Pricey and popular, you pay quite a bit for golf in this area here, and you may end up waiting on the golfers ahead.

Yankee trace offers a lot of solid golf for very affordable prices especially in the afternoon. The pro shop is well stocked, and there is a very nice practice range + putting green to warm up on. The course is get gettable and on par with others in the area if not slightly better when it comes to condition.

I had the Pasta Arbiatta, which was pretty good. Portion size was more than enough. Was nice to eat outside on the patio. Server was attentive.

I give the course a 3 because of the conditions. This is definitely not a course for single or 2 players. They don’t know how to put people that are single or 2 with other group. It makes you wait a lot for the foursome in front and play super fast for the group waiting behind. If the course is full keep everyone in groups or 4. Rangers need to work on the pace of game and putting groups with correct amount of people. Will only recommend this course if you play in a court.

I have been to ever country club in the Miami Valley. I would say the NCR COUNTRY CLUB is the best

Unbelievably solid shape for late fall in dry southwest Ohio. Challenging but playable, age the environment is excellent.

Pristine greens and bunkers. However, I always feel rushed, just to sit and wait at the next hole. Way too crowded.

Unlike other area golf courses I had to pay extra to have my own golf cart. They have signs posted saying to keep your 6 feet social distance and then they expect one to ride in a golf cart right next to another person. This seems totally wrong when we are trying to keep safe. I wont play at Yankee Trace again.

I love this course. Staff is Great its the want to be pros who ruin it for everyone. Just a suggestion, dont press the group in front of you if they are waiting on the group in front of them

This was my second round after a round at Pipestone. The entire grounds feel like a resort. I was surprised by the amenities for a $42 weekday round. If we had time, we probably would have taken advantage of the driving range and lounge. The course was in amazing condition.I also reviewed Pipestone, and the same applies here...I have paid more to play less. The streaming music on the GPS screen in the cart was an unexpected bonus. Really felt like my staycation was a vacation.

Its kind of hard for me to review places like this. I went there for the fish fry. You can tell this place is very upscale. I didnt try anything else on the menu. They do have a bar, I only had one drink. It was good. Id say they were very generous on the check. They didnt ask for my sons age, but his fish dinner was rung up as a child, or minor.We werent charged full price for his meal. The staff was kind and very attentive. They made the atmosphere feel more casual than I thought it would be. I thought that made things a little more friendly. The restaurant was not busy. I had made reservations before hand. We walked right in and were promptly seated. Everything was clean. Bathrooms were immaculate and well stocked. I thought they made me feel welcome. They were quick with the drinks and brought out several fills of fish for us as requested. I really cant think of anything bad to say. Maybe dress nice, and a reservation is a good idea. Nobody in there seemed to mind how we were dressed but I would say that it was definitely a business casual atmosphere.

This place is great for weddings, and any kind of event that you want. I am on the organizing committee assisting with our Highschool Class reunion there for 2020 and looking for a great turnout.

We LOVE Yankee! We come to their brunches and holiday functions frequently! I took my whole work there for a Christmas brunch with Santa and we all had a blast. Definitely reccomend their holiday functions and social events!

Had a company Christmas party there today and it was awesome! Beautiful place, attentive staff, nice big conference room for our event. Love it every year!

The people who work here are the hardest working people. Theyre respectful and kind. If youre going to hold an event consider here. Aside than events, the golfing is fantastic and the club is phenomenal. The food is amazing. Overall a wonderful place.

It didnt start real good.One of our elder golfers was denied a cart to ride alone.He was told they were out of carts so he didnt play but amazingly there was at least a dozen or more carts sitting there.This is not a very good way to treat golfers that play there dozens of times.Not real happy.

Like this place for golf, but they really need to get their kitchen in order. Last time I played they had no food because they had an event, this time they only had hot dogs and tuna salad. Nothing to eat on the cart either. I think they could do well if they could get this issue addressed.

Really well-maintained course. Golf karts are top notch. Not too many water hazards, but quite a few bunkers. Even the food was good. Theres also a practice range.

One of the most gorgeous golf courses in the Dayton area. Medium level difficulty.

Food was delicious! What I object to is a 20% tip added when our server clearly did not deserve it. I usually tip 20% or more. But our server didnt ask 1 person at the table what they wanted to drink, and we had to hunt her down for a refill. While the table behind us got VIP treatment because she obviously new them personally. She clearly was not worth her 20% tip!

Took mom and family to mothers day brunch. The food was just not good. The service was excellent and the seating was spacious. Very old fashioned country club style.

Course was in pretty good condition. Golf carts are a nice perk with music and yardage.

Its one beautiful place ,an we were there for a christmas party for my withs work the party was great an enjoyable. Great time and the staff was very nice and helpful .merry christmas to the hole culb an staff.

Everything was beautiful for our reception. They took care of all the details for our event including setup and clean up. We changed our number attending a few times and it was never a problem. The food was delicious and the staff was extremely helpful whenever we werent sure of something. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to host an event where they dont have to worry about taking care of anything on the day of the event. Our guests had such a wonderful time and it was a lovely end to our day.

My sisters and I lost our grandmother this week and we wanted to commemorate her life in a positive fashion. We worked with Jason at the Golf Club at Yankee Trace; he could not have made the experience any easier. He stayed late to meet us on a Tuesday evening and we were able to cement plans for my grandmothers Celebration of Life for 4 days later. It was not only extremely lovely, but, was such a breezy experience. I am so thankful for them in facilitating paying gratitude to our amazing and wonderful grandmother. Thank you so much, excellent work!!

The place was in great condition. The greens were fast but fair. Pace of play was rough! Took over 2 hours to play 9 holes!

Im not a golfer, but the course looked amazing when I was there to view it for a wedding reception. Jason was super helpful, patient and informative. The surroundings are very elegant and affordable. What surprised me was that he and the golf pros seemed to know everyone and there was an easy comraderie between staff and guests. Highly recommend!

Thanksgiving 2017 dinner was a huge disappointment. Overpriced and nothing special. One guest even attended wearing pajama bottoms. The whole dining area smelled of seafood. The food similar to hospital food. Very small selection of shipped in desserts. The food really seemed like it was brought in from somewhere else and not onsite. Drink served in a plastic container. Rethink your plans if going here.

Very poor upkeep compared to courses in the area. For the amount of money they make, they put it in the wrong places. Instead of spending the budget on improving the course, they buy new carts and “beverage stations.” Nothing has been done about a pond in terrible condition on Heritage 9. Greens, bunkers and fairways are in horrid condition compared to similar courses in the area, yet the employees force players to take care of the north range in just the right fashion while there’s a wasp nest underneath the putting green that no one has done anything about. Would recommend Heatherwoode, Pipestone, or Beavercreek over this course any day of the week.

Yankee Trace was my favorite local course for a few years then it seemed to be over booked and lacking different things. i had not played there for about a year and a half then decided to try it 07/27. I am a high handicap hack but love to play. upon arrival i noticed carts in the parking lot(which previously not allowed) thought that was a great change. Then got the new cart that has bluetooth speakers or radio apps and on board GPS which was awesome!!!! Doug Fowble the starter did an amazing job explaining everything including warning us that the system was a built in ranger so to speak which is nice (by the way it works if you get to close to the greens oops). All these improvements makes it the best course in the area to me. Thank you staff for these improvements and being so friendly to help enjoy the game! Thank you low handicap golfers for not playing the vintage it leaves more tee times open for us hacks and i think its the best course there LOL

First time Ive played Yankee Trace in many years. In fact, it was an 18 hole course when I last was here, not 27. Wow! What a beautiful place. Kids abounded in the First Tee program and what a great sight to see. The course is in excellent condition and provided all the challenge we wanted, even from the forward tees. Senior rate of $37. including cart, was very reasonable, especially given the condition and layout of the course. Pro shop staff and course rangers were all very courteous and friendly. Our group of 6 all agreed that this is a must- return place to play golf.

In a golf league on Tuesday nights. They have 3 nine hole courses and the league rotates each week. I like to see that the Steve, Matt and Jordan are trying elevate the experience for the golfers. The course is well kept, greens are great. They have 2 driving ranges that they are improving on and mutliple practice greens. Look forward to the next tee time.

Excellent golfing day. Tiger woods, Arnold Palmer and Chevy Chase were there. Chevy was buying everyone shots of whiskey , and being hilarious as usual

Beautiful well kept course. Rude starter was unbelievable. While we were waiting for the group ahead of us he scolded us and accused us of wasting time and making multiple strokes. He was flirting with the ladies behind us. When he told him we were waiting he sarcasticly said theres noone there! It ruined the day for us and set the mood. If he was paying more attention to his only job he would not have reacted this way. I dont care how nice the course is Im not dealing with elderly condescending morons. Ill take my business elsewhere and let me friends who live on course know.

Im taking golf lessons with Matt and he is a great teacher, fun and Ive already learned so much. Its hard to believe this is a public course the course is in excellent condition, its full service and very reasonable.

In my opinion the best course in the area. Very well maintained. Wonderful clubhouse with restaraunt and well stocked pro shop. Was here for an outing and they treated us well. Food was good. Driving range was a nice touch. Nice use of water on course. Made me think. Would recommend over pipestone any day.

Nice course. Well maintained. Friendly and very helpful staff. The course marshalls patrol regularly. Busy place, at least on the weekends. Group work charity outing and the food is always good here.

Course gets too much play. Ball marks on greens not repaired, appears to be a sanctuary for geese. Goose dung everywhere especially on Legends. Have no idea how its the best course in Dayton. Good range, clubhouse and staff. Go play Heatherwoode!

Jason was very helpful and responsive during the planning process for my recent wedding. Yankee Trace was very accommodating and flexible with our requests. We were receiving our cupcakes from an out of town vendor a few days before our wedding and they allowed us to store them at the venue until the big day. They were also great with the room flip. I had never been to a wedding at YT, and at first I was hesitant to want to do a room flip, but the seamlessness of their set up was perfect. Our guests were able to enjoy a cocktail and the room was set up within 15 minutes of the ceremony ending. The fact they also have a room to use for the girls to get ready, that can then be used during the reception as a babysitting room was also a HUGE benefit. Everything about this place made it the perfect venue.

Great course, friendly staff....but 4:45 for a round. We waited on every shot. No rangers in sight. Inexcusable.

Course was in good shape. Especially the greens. But one of the staff who was new on a cart. Twice wanted to see our receipt as we made the turn and treated us like we were try to sneak on. Poor customer service.

The people that work on this course are not friendly. They do not care if you ordered a medium bucket and only got a small.

The staff were very hospitable. The facilities were very nice and clean. I would use this facility for future events.

Course is pretty rough - unraked rocky bunkers, poc marked greens from lack of ball mark repair.

We had our daughters wedding reception here which turned out great! Friday night fish fry is the best anywhere. The cole slaw is outstanding! Our server, Bernadette was the best!

We had brunch there for the holidays. It was good, as usual. There were only a few complaints. The orange juice seemed a bit watered down and the hot cocoa was Swiss Miss at best. The hash browns need a bit more crimping to them, but they were decent. The pecan pie flavor was off. It was like it was made with too much syrup, corn syrup or something. It was a disappointment. The bacon was fantastically crispy, sorry for all those that like soggy, limp bacon. The cheese cake was good, especially the crust.

Yankee Trace has the best Sunday brunch in the Dayton area, not only the great offering from Shrimp, Salmon, Prme Rib, Chicken and a delicious salad and dessert bar, but the service is second to none. A buffet that is maintained to allow all guests enjoy the same amount and quality of food from the time it opens to the time it closes. Yankee Trace is a must on Sundays for Brunch!

Had our employee celebration here. Its gorgeous inside. Was still decorated with Christmas in the middle of January. It was breathe taking. Food was amazing along with the table service. Refreshing!

This is an amazing course regardless of your skill level. And the pro shop is for real ! And after a round, take a walk into the grill for some good food and a beverage !

Heavy league play leaves the greens with lots of marks. Seems some of these league players dont know how to fix a ball mark.
