Wasn’t sure what to expect as we walked in, as the store front is undergoing some renovations. Really looking for a quick dinner, although the menu selection wasn’t too vast. Pizza, burgers, and some salads were their focus; I ordered the burger. It was delicious! After a hard day’s work, I struggle to finish it - really hit the spot. Although I didn’t order any pizza, I did get a look at a few pies coming out of the kitchen, very tempting as well.A couple billiard tables, maybe a dozen or so booths (half closed cause of COVID), and one huge Moon hanging from the ceiling.

Wow! Making some changes here. And for the better! The pizza has always been good and the beer selection more domestic than anything else but good none the less. It used to be more of a locals bar, (think smoking on the patio with the door open and reserved barstools) but they have made some impressive changes. Remodeling the inside, improving the seating area, and a brand new deck are all great. If you havent been or at least not in a while, time for a visit.

We enjoy hanging out. Last night we went to this fine restaurant which we didn’t know before. We passed a lovely time there with exceptional dishes and a courteous crew and a distinguished cook. We added this restaurant in our phone list and we shall certainly visit again soon. Highly recommended.

During covid it was really nice to grab a beer and play pool, listen to jams and really forget the outside world for a second. The bar staff was super friendly. I do recommend

Dive bar with pretty good food and good beer selection

This is a great place for team events. It’s a real bummer that they switched from quarters on the video games to game cards. As silly as it seams it makes it much harder to come for some quick fun with the kids. It’s a disappointing change with a real corporate feel. The food is good and the beer selection is great. Great place to watch sports.

Excellent place for everything a pool hall should be! Easy 5 star here. Outside fire pit helps in the cold for us who like to converse outside with a beverage in hand

As a well dressed white man I have to say the service by the Oriental lady is fantastic.....I asked for and menu and the new York dude quickly threw me some menus and straws for my drink with promptness..... Service was out of this world.... Background basketball game sucks but bartenders make up for the noise........ Also the manager from Montreal is out of this world

Prices are reasonable, plenty of seating, video games and pool. The patio area was nice with a propane heater. Great selection of local beers! We came in for a trivia night and ended up sticking around for some food. The wings crispy and the sauces are awesome.

Visiting CO and saw this place. Varsity Inn is great! Pizza was awesome, old school arcade for the kids and price was extremely reasonable. Will definitely be back.

Cheapish beer for the area. Food is subpar but expected from a bar. Kind of cool having arcade games for family or kids. Good atmosphere and friendly staff.

This place is such a great time for everyone! We came as two adult couples with children and we ALL had a blast!! We ordered their 30 Do It Like Donkey Kong pizza which was HUGE! Between 6 people we STILL had two boxes of leftovers to take home. There are fun old school arcade video games around the perimeter of the restaurant and two pool tables for fun and games. No need to hassle with quarters either, you just buy a game card and all the games have a card reader. Many, many TV screens encircle the eating area so we caught like three different sports games as well. Full bar against the side wall serving drinks which is great for the adults and the games kept the kids going for hours. They have Frogger, Tapper, Q-bert, Centipede, Galaga, Big Buck Hunter, The Walking Dead, Terminator, Basketball Frenzy, and more, too much to list really. Definitely go check this place out, whether youre going out with friends as adults or with the children, The Varsity Inn is a one stop shop for all and great fun, I highly recommend it. Thanks for a great night of fun!

If I could give this place a 0 star I would. I was rudely greeted by Mike Buckley. He threw the menus at me and my guests, when I asked for straws he also threw those. My guest and I walked out after 5 minutes of being there and when I asked for his name wouldn’t give it to me so I had to get it from another waiter. I’m a regular here and I can confidently say me and anyone I know will ever come back.

As an out of towner, gotta say, this place was awesome. They had all the NFL games on, great beer selection (get the Hauser Hazy IPA), and the potato nachos were off the hook. Great crowd that yelled at the TVs, but not each other. If ever back in Denver, will for sure return.

Fantastic food. Plenty of beer options. And tons of fun arcade games! The staff was all very kind and helpful too. The restaurant and arcade games were exceptionally clean despite all of the children using the machines after eating. I cant wait to go back! I am taking my mom here for her birthday next.

Good place to grab a beer, have some pizza, and play some arcade games. The games are well maintained and price fairly (25 cents to play). I read some reviews about parents bringing their kids and letting them loose. I did see a few families in there, but it wasnt overbearing. We made sure to accompany our son to the games since its still considered a bar. I would definitely say to try this place out without your kids at first. Enjoy being a kid, yourself.

Great little bar with good during specials.

This used to be our go-to neighborhood establishment, but after a recent experience with a bartender, I will never be back. This bartender made inappropriate comments and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. His aggression and lack of respect towards me was not ok. Now days later Im still shaken up by his words and actions. I would advise ANY female to think twice about coming to this establishment until management takes appropriate action and changes the current staff.

Great place to stop and get a drink and play pool! Our bartender was very attentive, and very nice. The only downside was how loud one of the customers were, but that was not the bars fault. Other then that, we had a great time

Went here for my birthday tonight, but after the appetizer order, the waitress didnt come back up to us at all after 30 minutes, so we had to go up to the barn to get the check.....

Great thin crust pizza and really good wings. Awesome selection of canned draft beers, plus a full bar. Trivia night is on Wednesday, so go grub out & geek out with some other crazies, while surrounded by the video games of your youth.

This is our favorite local spot for drinks as a couple or with the entire family included. The best servers/bartenders EVER (Yay Mike & Danielle!), they take such good care of you are so fast and friendly! The food is GREAT and beer and liquor prices are totally reasonable. Trivia night is a blast and so are their video games. We have been coming here for years and as it has been like our Cheers, we are moving farther away but will make a point to drive over and be patrons as often as we can as we will miss this place tons. Highly recommended.

Loud by the basketball arcade game. Slowish service. Went for a year end b ball party and it was fun and would recommend but you will just need to talk loud. Ha

Literally this place is one of my favorite hangouts in the area especially because the lack of adult establishments. The table behind us got this giant pizza! And I was all like, “I want me some of that”! These guys memes are dank and I have to be honest. If you don’t come here, you are a goose.

Its OK. The food was kind of flavorless and they werent ready for big tables at lunch time. Definitely a better bar and arcade than restaurant. For $10 The meatball sub I had was pretty lackluster and was mostly bread with a few flavorless meatballs and very little sauce, green peppers were basically raw. I got about 10 fries with my sandwich. Honestly Subway makes a better meatball sub and for less money too.

Good food, good drink prices, good people. The only downside would be how many parents go there during the weekdays and let their kids run rampant with no regard for the other patrons or people playing pool. I wouldnt be surprised if a kid gets drop kicked one of these days.

Its a dive bar but it has a good atmosphere. You can tell the people like working there. Reminds me of the bars my mom drug me to as a kid in the 90s but with better food. Good memories. Lol

This place is a BAR. Lots of regulars who all know each other. Basic bar food and a GI-NORMOUS pizza. Lots of pizza/calzone options. Beers in cans and on draft. The bartenders make drinks to suit their crowd. If you have a specialty and go there a few times, they will make it for you. Pretty loud. Lots of video games and pool. If there is a team party for kids it will be over run. Once you get a foot in there though, not a bad place to be.

Great environment for friends getting together, familys or a date night! Foods good and the service is great! The staff all works together to make sure everyones need are met!

Good dive and sports bar with by-the-slice pizza. Bartenders are personable and nice and make you feel at home.

Horrible service took over an hour to get our 12 in pizza after it took 45 minutes to order it. Lady was rude kicking us out. Said adults can stay but our team of boys had to leave. Mind you we were spending money playing pool and games while you took forever making our pizza. If you had your act together we wouldnt have been there forever. Trust me we WANTED to leave. And we had reserved tables so you knew we were coming. Do not recommend.
