One of my favorite parks that Ive been to and I only seen half of it. Huge grassy areas. Lots of trees all over. Nice Pavilions and play ground. Really nice Trails for biking or walking. The park was really sprawled out with different sections to it. There is a really beautiful stream that runs through it that my dog likes to get into. I just wish the kids that party down there would pick up their trash because I know its not homeless people. Highly recommended to go check out. There are a couple different parking areas and also a Rec Center there.

This is a nice clean park with soft landings for the slides, lots of stuff to climb on and entertain kids. There were a couple wasp nests near areas where kids could get stung. Thats the only reason I didnt give 5 stars.

Great park right off Highline Canal trail system with lots of amenities: Tennis courts, baseball fields, pavilions with BBQ grill, most importantly bathrooms with running water (no soap though). Lots of mature trees which provide great shade on those hot days.

Lovely walk with the dog and the hubby. Warm day and the dog got to romp in the creek before we left. Note to self: A smart move would have been to allow the romp when we got there in stead of when we left. It would have saved us a car wash with interior scent.

DeKoevend Park is a beautiful place for walking pets, picnics, and general recreation. You can rent picnic shelters or ball fields for group events for a very reasonable price. It is accessible via the High Line canal trail, or by parking at or near the Goodson Recreation Center.

This is a GREAT park! I grew up going to this park, living right up the street from it! SO Many Memories!!!!! They have the ice arena, Goodson Rec Center. And of course, walking the Highline Canal is always a joy, with the creek flowing beside it. And if you enjoy playing tennis, they have that also. Great place to enjoy a picnic and let the kids RUN and PLAY!!!!!!!

I am 48 years old and grew up 1 block away from this amazing park. Big trees, the highline canal, ball fields, tennis courts, deluxe playground, a creek, large grassy areas, picnic shelters, open space - this large park has it all. This is one of Centennials gems and a fabulous place to exercise or congregate.

I grew up in this park. We would form two teams: Upstream & Downstream. Each team would make a dam, and the upstream team had to build up enough water reserve that when they destroyed their own dam, the resulting wave would destroy the downstream teams dam. And woe to all the crayfish we encountered along the way. We spent all summer wet and stinky and happy, with peanut butter sandwiches waiting at the shelter for lunch. Best childhood ever. 10/10.

This park is great! Its a little hard to find from the road unless youre looking for it. Ive never had trouble finding parking though, the lot is plenty big enough. Theres ample room to run around, play some frisbee, set up a picnic blanket in the shade, or take a nice walk. We usually bring a small cooler and a couple hammocks and set up at a spot along the river. If you head to the river on the far side of the field, theres some spots where its shaded and shallow with a flat sandy riverbank. If you bring enough snacks and drinks, you can easily make a day of it!

Something for everyone. A decent trail loop to walk, a few places to play in the creek, and two playgrounds. The main playground is big and for all ages, and theres a tot lot for toddlers, too, across from the goodson parking lot entranance (up the hill and across the bridge). Lots of grass and enough shelters to choose from. The baseball field is a dog park for an enclosed off leash area.
