Update: was able to get a refund for the overage and all is well. Thank you Cheryl for all your help.Had a birthday party at the end of May and was overcharged.Have been trying for over a month to get a refund of the difference. Cheryl has been trying to help but to no avail. We had a great time and they have earned my business again.

This Is a great option for parts and when the weather is bad

Kids had a great time. Played for two hours. Music a little loud. Good fun.

The concept is great! We have been a few times over the last few months and had a blast each time. Yes, some take it too serious but it isnt bad. Their spring break hours dont make any sense though. They open early but also close early. Just because its spring break didnt mean parents dont work...Its hard to understand what the announcer is saying at times, might be a good idea to have the game that is being played displayed on a screen. It would also be nice to change up the obstacles from time to time. They are just cardboard boxes covered in tape after all.Barring my few complaints above its a fun place for some Nerf battles. I just wish there were a few tweaks to how things are run. Maybe its personal preference.

If your kids are super into nerd guns, than youll probably not mind this place. Its a lot like paintball, but for kids. They blast the music and the 16 year old kids who work there are pretty casual about everything. If you do have a party here, eat somewhere else. The room rental is pricey and just 4 walls and a fold up table and chairs.

My 11 year old loves this place! Weve been twice now. Once with an out of town cousin who wants to move here so he can go to Dart Warz all the time lol and another for my sons birthday party, which was a huge hit!

A great place without a lot of frills for the kids to burn off some energy. They have different Nerf artillery per age group, and even adults/parents can join in the fun. The mission statement of promoting honesty, teamwork and sportsmanship while having fun ensure safe parameters. You can rent or bring your own Nerf gun, but they provide spongy bullets. Prices vary per week day or weekends, with some promotional days too if wanting to watch the pocketbook. But just a fun outlet for kids.

Despite the chaotic nature of how busy they were, the management stayed on top of it all. I was impressed by how fast they were getting through to everyone. Would recommend.

This place is a joke. Overpriced first off. The guns my kids got were broken and when asked to get a replacement the employee messed with it for a few minutes and said it still works and my kids couldn’t even shoot still. There are adults and older teens in the same room that make it unfair for the younger kids. I would never recommend this place. Better off going to a park with some friends and just get your own guns to play with.

Great costumer service! They have plenty of games to keep you occupied. They have great guns. Also great prices. You should check it out.

This can be fun if you bring a huge group of friends and get the place to yourself. Otherwise you run into the regulars who have created such getups that they cant be hit. They are 100% shielded. So, whats the point of playing when you will be out because some kid is left there by his parents instead of going to child care. Again, it can be fun, but bring a lot of friends to make sure it is just you and your friends.

They did a good job with my sons birthday party. I thought the place was reasonably clean and well organized. Staff were all super helpful and there were plenty of staff to make sure things ran well. Kids (and several adults!) had a really great time.

I have been to this facility three times now. I also have been to the facility in Colorado Springs several times. The game is awesome. I go when my grandchildren are in town-I have 8 of them. I always play with them and so does my son when he is in town. This past experience, Friday 3 Aug, had a sore spot for me. An employee that was currently working, played on one side and took the spot of commander. I thought this was wrong as he took the spot a paying child could of enjoyed. Then, when I hit him twice and possibly others on my team did also, as we were swarming him, he denied being hit. He was in the corner where your referees couldnt see as they only hung out near the doorways of the bull pens. What is your one rule? I still rate the facility and game, 5 stars, but we will probably avoid this particular facility in the future if we can help it.

My kids like it but its overpriced for the quality of the equipment. The guns you can rent are weak and you have to pay more to get equipment that lets you actually compete. The staff in the game were overly aggressive. For the price, your have a better experience playing laser tag. Oh... And they change more on holidays (like Presidents day).

So we had a birthday party here over the weekend it got off to a rough start but Tony the manager stepped right up and did a great job in ensuring that we were happy thank you Tony. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Great fun: Pricing needs to be more transparent. I played with my boy on Sunday. Was charged an additional $14 dollars for the second hour. Website clearly states the second hour is $10.

It’s fun! I love flinging foam with my rapidstrike and demoslishing the battlefield. But there is one thing that I hate about this place. There is a banned blasters list. This is because they “jam and eat darts” but most of the blasters on that list are amazing. The recon MKII, the alpha trooper, heck, even the rival atlas. Just for future refrence, here’s my personal opinion on banned blasters:-Nstrike deploy cs 6-Mega centurion-Elite Rhinofire-Nstrike stampede (it’s good but not very updated)-Nstrike raider cs 35Here is my list on blasters that should be banned. Please take this into consideration. And I think people would enjoy it more.

Overcharged us for birthday party and I had to follow up several times to get refunded. Very disappointed in our experience and will advise friends not to come here for parties.

Staff was helpful during the birthday party; especially the female staff. Nobody in the Battle Room, where the dart wars are played, could understand what the announcer was saying because of the poor sound system in there. Sounded awful, and loud. Also, it would be more fun if the layout of the battle area changed from battle to battle.

I went to Dark Warz on Friday 23, 2018 at 5:00 to 6:00 on Black Friday. My brother and I were really excited about the place but it turns out our ref was picking on yellow team ( my team.) He would make up rules that was told to us. And the teams were unfair. When my brother and I go we, if there was an uneven team they would fix it. This time when we went he did. We asked for the refs name but he would tell us. He would try everything to make the yellow team lose.

There gun never worked they get jammed easily fix it. airsoft it all ways better there. magz fall out every 10 seconds need better batteries they need to unbanned all guns because how is it not fair

We love this place. Such a blast for both kids and adults. One round is enough and you can bring your own dart guns or rent them when you arrive. Wear socks and bring water!

Paid for a $50 gift card last December to use at their Colorado Springs store. Then they closed that store in March. Ive tried multiple times to get a refund, contacting the Centennial store through phone or email.I was told by an employee no refunds or that I should drive several hours to play in Centennial. The owners of the Centennial store refuse to even respond at all to our request for help. You can only try to email them, not talk on the phone, and they just ignore your emails. Pathetic customer service.

Love this place!! The referees are always fair and the music is always upbeat, even if it is a little loud. ;) If the prices were a little lower wed come a LOT more often... but maybe thats a good thing! ;)

Took my 11 year old and friends. Wait was hour plus long please be prepared for this we went on a Wednesday. Had a lot of fun please bring your own Nerf guns the rental fees add up enough to justify buying one b4 hand. Idea seems reasonable until the bill comes

I just had the best time with my 11 year old daughter at her friends birthday party. The staff was amazing, and very friendly. The party was a blast!!! I recommend to anyone looking for a great fun place for a party!!!!

I would completely recommend another place to spend your time, Dart Wars is a complete waist of time. No need to diatribe but there are many flaws and it is made very cheaply. To start off the service and workers are absolutely horrible. During the games the refs do not pay attention well and if they see a bullet hit you, even if it bounced off a wall or was from a teammate they will call you out which is completely against the rules that they constantly preach before the match. To add on, if you argue with the teenage, inexperienced “refs” then you will be kicked out. They also give you expensive rates for one hour which ultimately comes out to about 30 minutes due to the fact they wait and talk to you about rules for 5 minutes before each game. To add onto these expensive rates you have to pay extra for a gun if you actually want to compete and the bullet to go further than 10 feet. Along with that the bullets are torn up and the arena is completely made of cardboard that I make in a couple of days. The customer service is horrible and the prices are outrageous, I would not recommend this arena of “fun” at all.

The staff was very friendly and tried their best to keep things fair. A very fun thing to do for anyone of any age (my grandmothers came with us). They went out of their way to make me feel special because it was my birthday. A great thing to do with the family or some friends!

The wait is generally long. The employees are kids who have little training. My kids love every 5 minute match but then sit through 10 minutes of yammering between matches. Do yourself a favor and buy nerf guns for your kids and the neighbors and have them shoot each other in the back yard.

The owners DO NOT treat there employees right at all. This weekend I witnessed the owner making a young employee cry and then shut the door so no one would here. The time before this I came in and the two owners reeked of weed and were very rude . The employees are working very hard but the owners are very rude to them. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED NOT WORKING HERE AND IF YOU DO GET OUT.

Love this place - great fun for the kids and adults. Just dont get too worked up when you see little kids cheats after you nail him with a nerf dart. Great for birthdays (just take a bunch of kids - no need to reserve a birthday package unless you want the cake and candles experience). Ill be sad when my kids grow up - I wont have an excuse to go here.

Ive been here about 3 times with my son who is 6 years old. We have a blast! You get to choose your weapons that they provide or you can bring your own. If you have a kid under 7 I would recommend bringing your own because the guns they provide for little ones are pretty hard for them to use. I came here for a birthday party once and I wouldnt recommend doing that in one of their party rooms. They have you in and out really fast. But overall a very fun place.

Good place do not recommend the pro and elite leg and sometimes the refs dont help with cheaters but its still crazy fuuuun

Fun place for an 8 year old party!

The prices there are stupid for what you get, especially because there are never enough bullets and most of them are broken. Dont plan a party for this location, its a great place to start but then head down the road to somewhere like chuck e cheese. The party rooms are way too expensive for what you get especially if your party is small, and if you just want to eat a simple cake you brought they ask you to leave, and we ended up eating our cake on the steps in front of the place. Places like these need to realize their idea isnt hard to replicate and do better by someone else.

Birthday party blast.... 30+ kids just hammering nerf gun darts for 2 hours and then just talking about it for days in school.... soooo worth the money

Took my kids (11 and 7) to Dart Warz last night. Not a great experience. The music was way, way too loud, especially for little kids. Take earplugs if you are going. I asked them to turn down the music which they did for a few minutes, then they turned it back up. Also, dont bother paying to upgrade to a better blaster, its not worth it. The blaster we paid an extra $6 for didnt work and then they gave me a hard time about refunding my money. In addition, it isnt worth it to bring your own high capacity Nerf blaster. The darts there are so overused that they are soft and worn out and constantly jam. Better to use a one shot (disc or dart) blaster. My son would have liked to have had more variety in the games that were played. We played elimination exclusively except for one game of capture the flag.

We had a birthday party for our nine year old and thirteen of his friends. Everyone had a great time. After reading some of the reviews below I was a bit hesitant, however we found the staff to be helpful. The playing court was a bit crowded, but opened up during the game as players got out.Good tip to pass along - use the disc gun, the standard one was sufficient

I have been to Dart Warz over 10 times with my sons (8 and 6) and had both of their birthday parties there. We all have a blast. I feel it is run really well and is well organized. They have really expedited the briefing room lately especially for people who have been there before so you get more playing time. I highly recommend you try it out.

Very cool idea - pretty good execution. Basically picture a small basketball court with foam floors and boxes setup as barriers. We were there playing with a birthday party, and it was quite fun. The guns you can upgrade to definitely are cooler than the standard ones, but they are battery operated so you run the risk of your gun becoming very weak. Also there was quite a few people and not a lot of darts at one point - we asked for more and they brought some out right away. Great workers. It was very busy on Saturday around 2. Would definitely come back again.

Best place to take the kiddos who arent old enough for paintball but still full of energy. Took my God kids here and we all got worn out from running and dodging darts! There is options to up grade the rentals and you can bring your own Nerf gun but make sure its not a illegal model or you cant use it.

I want to like this place. We have been coming here for a few years. In the past year, this facility has declined. Today, my son and I went for an hour of play time. My gun (I paid extra for an upgraded gun) jammed up 4 times. Each time it jammed I had to try to find and employee to help. The employees were so busy standing around talking to each other, that I finally gave up and stopped playing. At one point a child was standing crying in the middle of the lobby because he was lost - again there were employees standing around talking to each other and no one was helping the child (I helped him find his family since I was no longer playIng). What used to be fun, has become a waste of time and money.

A little pricey, but SUPER fun for kids and adults ;) PARENTS take yer kids out and then TAKE EM OUT!!! Check the website and make sure your guns are approved if bringing from home tho, mine was a banned one and I had to spendextra on a rental lol!

We had a birthday party here today for my girlfriends 13 year old son. We called a couple of days earlier and spoke to Cheryl about their cancellation policy just in case we needed to, but at no time indicated that we actually wanted to cancel. When we showed up for our scheduled party between 1 and 3 we were told that our party had been canceled and that we hadnt been notified about it. It then took the staff a while to figure out what to do and to get everything straightened out. By then time for our party to start had come and gone, and we got things going around 1:30. We paid $400 for 75 minutes of gameplay and 30 minutes in a party room. Because of the ineptitud of the staff we were only allowed to play for 45 minutes and then were rushed off to the party room. When we told the people at the desk what had happened they went to get a manager, who then could not do anything to help us. Not only did they refuse to work with us on any kind of refund, but they wouldnt let us back into the arena to finish our play time. The manager then called corporate and told them about our issue, and informed us that someone might get back to us at some point. Then we were asked to pay and leave because we were holding up the next party behind us that needed the room. Overall a bad experience and I would not recommend this place to anyone for any reason. Do some research, save your money, and have more fun elsewhere. Definitely will not be returning

This is a great place to go for a weekend hour or so, but NEVER book a party. We had an awesome party planned with 75 minutes of time on the field and 30 minutes in the party room. The teenage staff was not at all organized and thought our party was cancelled when really it was at 1:00. So it turned out that we got barley an hour on the field, with no apology or refund. When we were in the party room, we had pizza (it was okay) and cake. When we were waiting for the manager to call corprate, an employee came and told us that we had to get out of the room and pay because they had another party booked. Overall a horrible experience, and I wouldnt plan a party there. Defiantly not worth $400.

This place is filthy. The bathrooms are disgusting. The place is run by teenagers who could care less about doing a good job. No adults around to supervise. Their refs dont even pay attention. They are blasting rap music with excessive cursing and lewd lyrics in an arena full of 9 and younger old kids. Totally irresponsible. And speaking of that, they are letting 6 yr olds use guns that are supposed to be for 14 yr olds

Terrible business model! We came here 2 hours before they close and they’re turning us away because their wait list is full even though we’re the only people in he lobby! Your allowed to walk in pay and leave and then come back, so walk ins like myself get turned away! I watched as they turned away at least 20+ paying customers. The employees were of no help and gave no reassurance on anything, just told us to come back tomorrow and hope their are spots! Terrible business plan!

Do NOT have a birthday party here. What a waste of $350. I have never been so disappointed with a party before. It was basically chaos and Im not sure what I payed that much for. They ran out of vests and guns and there was no seating for the adults to watch. I could have bought my own nerf guns and set up boxes like they use for cheaper then this. The staff was rude and the party host just stood there. I was picking up the trash and she couldnt even put candles on the cake while I got pictures of my kid. Again WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY and the icing on the cake was being over charged. So disappointing and I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

Well, this was a great place to take the kids and play for an hour or two until they raised the prices. Went from $8 with $5 each additional hour to a flat $13 / hour. It is not worth going unless you are able to pick-up a Groupon or Living Social deal. We had 5 people in our group and needed to upgrade two guns and our total came to $130! Absolutely ridiculous! I sure hope the employees are getting a pay increase with those prices

Came here on a wed night with my kids. Dart warz, Nerf gun wars... They told us wed night was extreme night and kids have to be 13. Really?? How extreme can Nerf wars get. My kids are old enough to go to the real shooting range and they cant shoot Nerf guns? Dart warz who are you catering too? ......User edit: Ok so I came back and edited this review after I read some other reviews. Nails in the darts.. WOW, I guess extreme Wednesdays does get extreme!!! Never coming here again.

There was not enough bullets, especially the large ones for my wife and one of my kids. Also, the line was really long and they were understaffed (clearly not prepared for no school on 1/4/16).Even with these criticisms where Dart Warz could improve, Dart Warz is really cool and well be back again and again.

Answer your phone…seriously! Hard to imagine how this could be a successful business when you cant even do the elementary work correctly or at all. The reviews are rough and I struggle spending money on my sons birthday party on an establishment that doesnt care about building a successful business. Very disappointing.

Lots of fun, read the reviews by others and cant speak for them. I do know my son and I have been there 15 times or more and always had fun, we mod nerf guns together now and bond every time we play. Prices are what they are, staff is always good to us. Wish people would play more honestly, staff could use another ref but not complaining. As far as busy and long waits, not really sure how Dart warz could change there capacity limits and know exactly how many people will show up, like anything busy its first come first serve. Dont think our community could support a place the size of a Costco for it and they do a pretty decent job of accommodating.

Dart warz is fun, but it has its flaws. My most recent visit, there was one person who was too good be playing with kids sometimes half my age and the staff just psudeo- ignored me and one other time, someone found a thumbtack. For us, the front desk service is good and the briefing is simple and to the point, the rental guns are priced well for a kid who has a weekly 5 dollars and a fairly reasonable age limit on 1 or 2 guns. But all in all, I say its not that bad, could use some improvements, but is fun.

DO NOT PAY THESE PEOPLE TO HOST A BIRTHDAY PARTY. This was the most unorganized show I have ever seen. Because they overbooked the time slots, they tried to cut the 30 minutes we did get, short! Teenagers running this place on a Saturday?! Terrible and extremely overpriced. Would NOT recommend.

Dart wars needs new guns the modulus always jammed, Me and my friend paid 60 dollars and got nothing because of our guns. I will not recommend this place. Bad service but the people are nice. I would recommend letting the customers switch teams
