The park is always peaceful and clean. I feel safe there because there are typically several walkers making the rounds. I go there to eat lunch several days a week.

Ive loved this place since I was a kid, but sad that they filled in the pools, that why it only gets 4 stars.

Was a peaceful place. there was no water in the womens bathroom so I could not wash my hands and the water that they displayed on a picture outside was not going !disappointed! water fountain was was gone!

I absolutely love walking in this park! My husband and I go there almost every day to get 1, 2, or 3 miles in (3 times around the largest paved path is 1.2 miles). The trees are amazing; providing shade and great energy. I love that they have small signs identifying the names and information about them. The playground is made of wood and great for all ages. I love any place that promotes wellness and this is one of my favorites. Thanks to the Cedartown City Police who patrol the area frequently, keeping us all safe.

Nice place to walk. 3 full laps on the outer sidewalk is about a mile. Love taking the kids to the playground. Of course they love playing in the water during summer. Its family friendly fun.

Took my granddaughter on Friday, 1/5, after school. Noticed all the repairs that had been done, maintenance and such. Very pleased to see its maintained so well. Thank you, Cedartown!

We took approximately 110 fourth graders to the park for lunch after a field trip. There was plenty of room and equipment for all. The equipment is in very good condition. Plenty of benches for adults to sit inside the playground and outside. There is only one gate leading into the playground. Plentiful ground cover for safer falls.

The park isnt as enjoyable as it used to be since they took the swimming pools out after the 1996 Olympics& replaced them with a grass field & a fountain.I think my great uncle (the founder of the park) would be sorely disappointed.At least the tennis courts are there

Saw Bennie Gray and the Trailer Park Cowboys. They were GREAT! The park was very nice. Very laid back and everyone seemed to be having a good time.

Its always clean. The trash is Never full the keep great maintenance at this Park. I enjoy being able to walk around a clean park with my children! Even on days when it is super crowded with Pokemon go even the people who go to this park are super friendly! Ive been going to this park for years and thinking is one of the safest cleanest parts for me to take my children to of course keep in mind I started taking my oldest to this park 20 years ago LOL and we still continue to go!

My name used to be on one of the planks around the kids area but we checked and couldnt find it anywhere. I guess it was removed or replaced. Sad day. Anyways this park is probably my favorite park on the planet. Its so unique.

Absolutely love this park. Ive been going here since I was a child. I dont live in Cedartown anymore but I took my son to play there today for the nostalgia. It was so fun and I was so excited to find out that you put in a splash pad. Since yall took away the pool years ago. Literally the dumbest thing yall ever did.

The best kids park Ive ever taken my daughter to. They have a water feature that stays covered with kids playing.

Love it here. Great place to walk and to take the kids and its also pet friendly. They have a splash pad during the summer and a second to none playground all year around with a beautiful walking track and plenty of poké stops for those who love Pokémon Go. They have two tennis courts and a basketball court and plenty of parking with a public restroom that is handicapped accessible with plenty of water fountains around the park so you dont have to worry about being thirsty. There are plenty of shady areas to sit and enjoy after your walk as well as well as gazebos that are usable and are rentable for parties. Its seems to be a safe area also, i see policeman patrolling quite often. They also have festivals from time to time here along with bike rides and car shows. This is just an all around great park

Nice clean.park..only complaint. Was we reserved gazebo and seems they double booked it and we didnt use it .

Always enjoy going to the park. Splash fountain for the kids in the summer, great walking/jogging paths around the entire park, very nice playground for the kids, picnic tables for public use (free), a large pavilion that is lighted and has electricity and water available that can be used and also can be reserved for special occasions/functions, barbecue pits, a small outdoor arena for musical events, and even tennis courts. All packaged nicely in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood and walking distance from many shops and stores. Only minutes from downtown. Very well established park, has been in use for decades, better part of a century (not certain of the exact age of the park, may possibly even be in or very near its 100th year.....) A great place for the whole family!

Its alright. Has public restrooms, thats a plus for me. There are some picnic tables to have a picnic in the park. I would have like to see more pavilions in case it rains.

I met with family to get the cousins together....they had he best time .....

Its so hot in CEDARTOWN GA. I was excited to see the sprinklers were on.

Ive taken so many children to play here. I played here myself as a kid but we had 4 awesome swimming pools here when I was growing up.

When the weather is nice we opt to walk in the park instead of the gym. We get fresh air and vitiman D from the sun while staying cool from the breeze of the trees.

Good for young children and walk around the park. It does have a splash pod that comes on a few times a day if you want the kids to cool off in the summer.

Its a great place for walks,its the place we have the arts and crafts festival every year and theres a big play ground.

The kids loved it and nice trail to walk on.

They have a splash pad and unlike new parks they have swings & tire swings. While there are a few sections with full sun there are several mature trees as well as a covered pavilion.

Kids enjoyed playing at the playground and playing in the fountain.

We just stopped by to check it out. A big nice playground but it looks dated. It looked in good repair and the children looked like they were enjoying themselves. Thats the main thing.

Love this park havent been there for the fountain yet and unfortunately had to rate it 4 instead of 5 because I havent seen a drinking fountain anytime I have went which is unfortunate for the children on hot days...

Be careful at this park as we was walking out I saw a syringe that had been cut into... this town needs to make sure our parks are clean so our children can play without them getting hurt... we will not be going back.

Needs cleaned up and should have age limit to keep teenagers off the equipment...other than that, it was okay

Great place to walk. Bathrooms are well maintained. Playground is awesome for kids.

This is a great place to come alone or with friends and family. There is a large waterjet area that can accommodate lots of people to get hosed down in the heat; there are 3 tennis courts, an awesome playground with slides, climbing stuff, swings, etc. There are numerous places to sit. Bathrooms are clean. There is a large firepit to do massive BBQs, and a covered pavilion with tables. Lots of beautiful tress and grassy areas and surrounded by beautiful tree lined streets with lovely homes.

Live music was great.

A good place to take your children to play!
