This place is fantastic! Flowy fun tracks and trails. Everything from beginner to black diamond single woods trails. Afew bug out cabins for rent. RV and primitive camping is free as long as your riding the next day. Bring generator no hookups. I will definitely be going back!
Clean facility. Bathrooms were clean but do have a strong mold smell...of course, we arent there for fancy bathrooms! They do serve hamburgers and hotdogs. First come first serve. Prices are $4/$3 and they do offer chips, drinks... Good trails for quads. Level 2 is still ridable for those learning. Tons of MX trails. Lots of parking spaced thru the park. Friendly staff. We will definitely go back.
Riding is very good, 5*of course single trails aren’t easy, but that’s what we like. Kind of not for beginners, but there is a few trails for them. If you just want to cruising and learn nothing, than go somewhere else. Wonderful park, even the 4X4 trails are very fun with dirt bike, even with Dual Sport.For beginners: 1, 5A, 5B, 6, 9, main trail, outer trail, and I would say (maybe 20).The bath and the toilet would require some maintenance. 1*...transparent curtain, at least no one will use it, zero privacy.I don’t like the permit buying option, too many people at same time, wasting my riding time.Purchasing the permit takes at least 30 minutes or an hr.

Great people that work there and the trails are amazing and so much fun. The only issue I ran into was that the ratings for the trails on the map vs the actual trails are different. Double check the rating on at the entrance of a trail because it may be different from the map.

This is quite the hidden gem, and I think it is intended to be that way. Only 5 cabins and about 12-15 tent camp sites. The trails are all one way, so it is much safer than say... Durhamtown. There are trails and tracks for all levels of experience, even if you have never ridden a day in your life. This is a good start. They also are a KTM dealership. The staff is very knowledgeable, courteous and laid back and easy to get along with. If you are renting the bikes, the tent camping is free and it is pretty cheap to ride your own bike all day long. This is the first time my husband and I have been here and my first time riding altogether, and we will definitely be back with all of our friends. 10/10 would recommend.
Nice place and staff the only thing I dont like is they will not allow race atvs on any of the tracks.. even on off days.

Came here for a Beta demo tour so we only got to see the small area we were using at the time. Looking at the map of the trails, there seems like a ton of trails that need to be explored. We will probably make a trip again this year to camp there and bring our own bikes.
This place was fantastic. We took our ATVs with my two kids, 7 and 10. We did stay on the level 2 and below, but it seems like we couldve easily done level 3. There were plenty of trails for ATVs. Enough, that we could ride all day and not repeat trails. The people were great and helpful. A warning about the directions: Dont follow Google Maps. It takes you down a road called Mountain Road, which we barely got through. Read the site for directions. We enjoyed it so much, we are renting a cabin in 2 days and spending the night with the entire family. Those saying this place isnt for ATVs, is simply not true.
All the tracks are fun,would be better if they tilled it,mechanics are a great plus,very knowledgeable.

The trail system is awesome dirt bike heaven is an understatement we traveled from Dayton Ohio and stayed Thursday through Sunday.We rode a ton of 4 diamonds all of the five diamond trails and the one six diamond we came across. A couple of us really enjoyed The intermediate mx track.Shower houses are great hot water, Heat and air conditioning.Fire wood on site was reasonably priced and decent quality.As a group we only had two complaints. The first We were charged different amounts for our days of riding. I paid 40 for the two days my brother paid 45 and a friend paid 35.The second I tried to purchase a KTM world sticker and the dude behind the counter said they didnt have any.At the same time a lady gave some to my buddy at the next registerA little consistency would be great.
Not for beginners, despite what a bunch of these reviews say. If you’ve never ridden a motorcycle, this is not the place to start. There are no easy/novice trails or any other place to ride around and get a feel for the bike. Come ready to ride because even the “easy” loop road around the park is steep and rugged in a lot of places. If you’re experienced, you’ll love it. If you’re not, expect to crash and probably more than once.

I cannot judge any of the trails because I was the wife of a biker. However, the little cabins are sweet and nicely stocked with amenities. The bathhouses definitely could use some TLC. But they did work.

Track would be good if it was properly maintained. Dirt is not packed or anything and it was just very soft, couldnt build up enough speed to make it up any of the hills because we.just kept spinning out, trails are decent but the track needs to be maintained, as of right now will not be going back for 30$

HP is our home away from home. We LOVE playing there! Miles of one-way trails, MX tracks, a full service KTM dealership and parts store, camping, cabins available to rent, bikes available to rent, and great folks working there.
If you want to buy a KTM this is the place. If you want to ride dirt this is the place. Track prep????? As long as briers don’t open up a jugular, track prep not needed. We’re dirt bikers, we don’t get stuck in the mud, period. The people that run this place are top notch, don’t have drama at quitting time, the employees have lives to, plan ahead.Thats my 500 in the Black Hills of SD, its been to Moab UT also, parts and advice always from Highland Park. 3 MX tracks, a pee-wee track for kids plus 100 miles of riding trails. Been going for years its very family oriented place. You can rent cabins or bring your tents/campers and camp out its very peaceful.

This place despises four wheelers and UTV’s but still accepts them. The directions are misleading in a location to where directions are important due to its past. By the way don’t get stuck to where you can’t get out or they will charge you 200$ for someone to drive a tractor out there and let you do all the work hooking your own rope just to turn you over and not pull you out.
Love this place. Taught my son how to ride here. Friendly and courteous riders. If I could live there I would.

This is a great establishment, trails are always fun and the tracks are fun whenever theres been some recent rain. I do wish that there was more prep and watering in the summer months but I understand why its not done so much. All in all a great place and I love the support HP gives to the local dirtbiking community.

Be ready to push you ATV out if anything happens. I thought that was one reason a one day is almost $30. There are better parks out there. An ATV at this park is like a fish out of water. Its a motorcycle park

MX tracks are barely maintained! Dry and impossible to ride or race on. They used to water down the tracks. Now its hard to determine what is powder and what is solid!Maintain the mx tracks or close them!

Very organized, family friendly, and very reasonable pricing. All trails are well marked and mapped. Me, my husband, and 8 year old daughter all rode last couple days. Plenty of trails at all levels.

Parts department and management severely lacking parts knowledge and customer service. Any KTM would be highly recommended over them.
Rugged but just right for a place to stay while riding muddy
I have nothing but a fabulous time when I visit! Its a great weekend get away with the guys, but is also family friendly with nice facilities. Me and my best friends have bought 5 bikes there. The mechanics are great and the suspension service and tuning is top notch! They do all my work and have never had a problem! I have been going there for over 5 years and gotten to know almost the whole staff. They have always been accommodating and polite! If any one has a problem with highland park its you and not the park!
I ride here monthly and have not ever had a bad experience. I recommend this place for dirt-bikes mostly, not so much for ATVs (thankfully!). Its not as massive as Durham, so you can actually get a good feel of the place in less time and start to enjoy the trails more. The trails have some challenging climbs, but are fairly ranked per Highlands difficulty scale. Additionally, the MX tracks are nice, but just like the trails, could use a bit more regularly scheduled grooming.

Love Highland Park. Lots of groomed trails and plenty tracks to ride. Fun for entire family. Plus they have cabins to rent so you can spread your fun out over a few days ☆☆☆☆
The park was great BUT the cabin “resort” aspect of this park was the WORST! Disgusting! There were bats inside the cabins, in between the bed sheets. We got there and started fixing up the bed to go to sleep after the long travel from Florida and a bat came out. Another thing was that the showers and bathroom weren’t even in the cabins so to take that walk with bats surrounding was disturbing. We went to the front desk to have someone clean the room and they didn’t. They actually didn’t even care. The pillow cases were stained! There were spider and spiders webs in every corner. Cockroaches all over the floor. It was dusty. You think I’m exaggerating? YEA RIGHT! it was horrible. Then we talked to the owner of the place hours later of our arrival after the front desk situation and you think he cared? Yea ok! I suggest you save your money and go to a hotel. Don’t waste your money on this disaster because you won’t receive a refund. They only care about their money. I’m saving your money with this review! trust me.
Highland Park is definitely well worth the visit for all your ATV/MX needs. Personally I preferred the single track trails because they were all neatly cut and mapped with trail arrows so you wouldn’t get lost. If you ride dirt bikes and like single track, don’t hesitate to ride the 5 diamond trails because they are the least worn out and they won’t shake you to death when you ride the trail! The only downfall of the Park was the rough tracks that needed some serious attention and the “mechanic” at KTM World wasn’t very helpful with a simple problem on one of our bikes. I will definitely continue to show up at Highland Park to fulfill all my riding needs. For parents, Highland Park would be a great place for your children to learn how to ride, they even have a peewee track! So don’t hesitate to travel to enjoy a fun day of riding! 8/10!

Rode here a week ago beautiful views on the way there. track wasnt too bad wished theyd prep it during the week make for a much better ride. Trails were gnarly considering Im more of a track guy. Would suggest to anyone whos off during the week and wants some free ride time alone to check it out. Not too shabby.
First time here was Saturday 10-13-18 and was amazed at how well the trails are maintained and the staff was very friendly great place to take the family and ride we will definitely be back
Fantastic off road park. Has great trails from novice to single track. There is also a pee wee track, and 3 MX tracks. They do a great job of grooming the tracks and trails and switch things up regularly. The campsites have trash cans places throughout and some fire pits. You can also rent cabins. We go several times a year and love it

A little on the pricey side, if you ride a dirt bike or atv, it is $30 per day, does not matter if you ride 1hr or all day.
Best place to ride anywhere Ive had nothing but a good time riding there. Im always trying to find time to head up there and ride. This place is so great that Ive met people who have driven down from Philadelphia just to ride for a weekend and I think that really shows how great this place is.

Excellent place to ride. Each trail is designated via a Diamond rating. 1 Diamond = easy....more Diamonds = greater the difficulty. BUT, if the trails are slick due to rain or snow... add 2 Diamonds..ask me how I know. Pro Shop on site is great.. if you own a KTM product. ( which I do x2).. The reason for 4 stars is the RV parking or lack there of. No power/water( boondocking only) and very very limited flat spots for set up. Bathrooms/showers are top notch.. plenty of hot water and extremely clean. Should the owners of HPR improve the conditions for RVers, trailers and Toy Haulers, Highland Park will give Durhamtown a run for its money.... till then..we can only hope...
After reading reviews I was skeptical about taking my side by side here. We decided to take a chance and went. It was the best time I have had in a long time on my side by side. It is definitely a motorcycle park, but there are plenty of trails for ATVs and UTVs. I would recommend this park to any ATV or UTV rider. We will be going back.

Not so pleasant people work here. Track is ok when its prepped. Workers r not very informative. We hardly ever come here. Thinking it may have gotten. Better and never does. U would think they would gravel the road to side the park also. Think I will stay with other tracks!

I called them at 4 PM yesterday to make sure they would have motorcycles for me and my grandson to rent the next day. We drove for an hour and a half when we got there they said Im sorry but were closed to rent bikes today because of another event going on we didnt find out about it until late last night.Thanks a lot

A lot of fun riding. We went for days and felt like we did every trail. Ill break down the experience in sections.Trails:Super fun trails over 3 days of riding we did every 2 and 3 star trail. Some multiple times. Really enjoyed them.Cabins:So, super gross sheets left on beds. When we told them they were surprised that there were sheets in the room at all. By gross I mean blood stainand other stain.There is no water or bathroom in cabin which is rough after a day, especially when its cold. Also the shower was freezing in freezing temperatures.We werent cold at night due to a space heater they turned on for us.Store:Nice enough group. Had some conversations with them. Thought everyone was friendly. No complaints at all.Motorcross track:Those guys are crazy. I apparently am way too chicken. I just rolled the hills and was amazed at how high those jumps are.
