A couple of girls including candy tried to extort cash admittedly but otherwise was a good time and private costs were worth it with the mentioned girls. I would highly recommend visiting another club. The management at this place is quite salty, and shockingly, quite racist.Please do take a few moments to peruse my recollection:About a year ago I dropped off four gentleman at The Lumberyard and they would not let a member of the party in because his pants did not meet the dress code. The odd thing was, they were fine the day before, and the young gentleman was wearing extremely similar attire. Since, at the time, I was one of the foremost ride-share drivers in the area, I had a good relationship with the staff at the club, so I went inside to inquire about the mix-up. I was greeted by a gentleman in his forties, a bit chubby with glasses on who was with the young lady at the front register. He told me that they shouldnt have been let in. When I confronted him with the facts and told him that I had studiously transported hundreds of patrons to the club before, sometimes in possibly worse attire, he didnt even listen. I handed the rotund pillack my business card and told him he would never see any of my passengers ever again, and his attitude was unacceptable and uncharacteristic of the staff there. At that point he threatened me and demanded that I leave, passengers in tow. Since that happened, I kept a special marker in my log book to log how many passengers requested a trip specifically to this club, or to any gentlemans club in general. After counting, the number was exactly eight hundred and ninety-four. Yes, 894 passengers that I either delivered to the competition, Woodys, or diverted from the venue after requesting a club as their destination. We can safely say that your average strip club patron spends about $80, and $80*$894=$71,520. That is $71,520 in revenue that went to their competitor, Woodys. By god, it’s most likely more really.To the lovely folks at the Lumberyard:Moral of the story, your business is in the customer service sector, and good customer service means going above and beyond to meet your loyal customers needs. This means having a sense of urgency, being polite, and being willing to resolve negative interactions. Most of all, however, it means being tolerant. The four gentlemen I happened to drop off were in fact African Americans, and I really have quite a pragmatic suspicion that this was the actual reason they were denied entry. I, personally, have lighter skin and never had a problem visiting your establishment, but I have heard others report the same. I really did not believe it until these events unfolded. Just know this, karma is VERY real and ignorance is not bliss, but a painful attractant of misery and despair. Cheers.

Never a bad time!! Great dancers! MORE THAN JUST A DANCE CLUB!! The arcade is awesome as well as the after hours dance area the underground thats downstairs!!

I give one star because some of the dancers are professional entertaining and provide 100 percent of clubs ambiance. Sadly other dancers at best are unprofessional and or rude at worst criminal. Give the second star for teaching me what not to do as I am thinking about opening a club. The sign out front(if you actually see it) is hidden in landscape also resembles a sign at a real lumberyard. No call to action or even a open sign at entrance.(did notice a rather tacky sign stating an odd dress code last time i was there) The entrance is not welcoming but rather dark and creepy. Inside most everthing is dirty and or broken bathroom rivals any dive bar. Out of the half dozen times of being there from open to close(or close enough) one to two dancers from 5 to 7 then dancers trickle in until around midnight never seen such a high customer to dancer ratio at best might be 3 customers to each dancer when its busy which doesnt happen til around 3am never appears to happen during week easy to find parking though. Lots of empty space easy to find a chair but most likely broken and or stained. Dj plays alot of horrible rap music that by no means is what the biggest demographic would like. The music in private area is even worse and also screams scam the dancers cant even tell when one song begins and ends let alone the customer. Vip rooms are closer to homeless shelter vibe then vip. Sadly the place has potential just badly managed or presuming they are drinking more then the patrons due to strangest dancer stage rotation. Place is lucky the have some professional dancers as mentioned at beginning

I come here all the time! This is the best club I have ever been to. The environment is super fun and friendly. I never been to a club with beer bong, pool, and even a Nintendo! The girls are beautiful, talented and super nice. Dances are really reasonable and during the week they have great dance deals. I wish I could give this club a ten!

Management was VERY RUDE, the door girl and the amateur night announcer and the girls them self where all very nice and sweet. I dont think Ill ever step foot back in that club again. You should maybe look into a better manager..

Ok, so years ago before the remodel, I would have recommended this place to everyone, and now its like a completely different club. The Number one thing that bothers me the most....the dancers are rude, money hungry, greedy, and more stories are becoming common of dancers using crooked ways to get additional cash and tips from you. Such as saying a dance is $25, and its only $20, or when they run the special of 2 for 1 private dances, they will give you one and expect you to pay for the other, and you will be able to tell if the dancer is tired. No energy, and you can tell that they just want the song to be done, (by the way the music is terrible) if thats the case, you are better off keeping your money. I would also like to add, even on Saturday and Friday nights, the club is dead, there is no vibe, no beat, even the DJ runs out of lines after a while then he quits talking, it doesnt really pick up until 3am, which is hard for me to understand, because the club closes shortly after. As far as staff, its neutral, the security is different every time so you are on your own there. I feel like I have wasted my money and time by going there, wont be back for a while.Its bring your own beer (no liquor)

I had a very sweet dancer by the name of Piper dance for me today around 6 P.M. and She was great! She was very sociable and Down-to-Earth she claims that shes Rusty I beg to differ! Tell Piper that Jake was very satisfied with the dances that she gave him!

I couldnt give zero stars. Friday night in town for the weekend Google search tells me this place has 4 stars and good comments(probably all staff submissions) checked out website looked pretty good. Showed up to the spot isolated on a dead end road in an industrial area. Huge building about 15 cars in the lot. Entered through a dark entryway girl at front desk greeted us around 1800hrs. We paid the cover then she says its a bring your own beer place, wel and the website said nothing about that. We went in and there was not one single person in the place no dancers on stage or in site. Good sized venues with multiple levels, we immediately left and the counter girl was nice enough to refund our cover saying we dont get busy till later( then why the hell are you open) it may be a great place after a certain time however Ill never know cause Im not wasting a trip back.If you go wait till late and dont forget to bring your own beer, no liquor though.Dancers on 6th has a happy hour and actual girls dancing.

The dancer asked if I wanted a VIP dance 2 for 1 20 for 2 songs.. so I agreed for 100$ worth which was 5 songs but due to 2 for 1 it was 10 songs for 100$ in VIP dancer told me it was her first day etc.. Go to pay and the guy wants 200$ this dancer failed to tell me that 2 for 1 end at 10pm so Im stuck paying 200$ maybe they should verse their employees on policies.. Cause I had no clue being my 2nd time there and the first was like 5 years ago... Or maybe it was all a scam.. Either way never going back.. Keep your money watch porn hub.

Im not into strip clubs, but this place is decent.Went on a Friday that was not an amateur night. Full nude, byob (no glass for patrons), and above average girls for Iowa. California 6s. A 7 or two. Zero 8s and better. One girl clearly tried to work the poll, most didnt bother. Bathroom stalls have no doors, so consider a dump public. In & out is prohibited. Plenty of respectful security. Shower shows available. Designate a driver.

It was ok. The girls were pretty not drop dead gorgeous. Most were lacking in the breast area for me. It was dark and hard to see the girls on the stage. The most positive thing of all was I got in free because it was my birthday.

If we could give this place less than 1 star we would have. It was grimy, creepy and the staff were less than hospitable. My mates and I went to have a couple drinks and wind down, almost immediately we overheard a worker (this arrogant little asian dwarf) walking around was insulting customers and seemed to be high on cocaine or meth. For the short time we were there maybe 2 girls danced. Due to the low volume of customers in the club the DJ continuously got on the Mic and said, they wont dance unless someone sits up front. Im pretty sure people dont go there for the ambiance so, shouldnt someone be dancing anyways? One of my buddies also took note of several extortion attempts going on and it seemed like the bouncers were in on it. We figure this is what happens when the dancers are only making money off of commission. We left after deciding the oddly hostile and bizarre environment was not at all what we had in mind. At the end of the night I felt bad about even recommending we check the place out.

The place is a joke. The private dances are over priced. I was was charged double. Not worth your money. They tell you one thing and charge another. If you dont want ripped off, go somewhere else!

Wate of time, been there friday at 5pm, got the free entry, but no girls around, the nice lady at the entry apologized and told me most girls would show up at around 7 pm, however its possible some show up earlier. So i waited for 45 mins eagerly smoking my läßt cigarette...no girls...why even bother opening at 5, the girls get to choose when theyre at the club.

Absolutely terrible experience. Wouldnt recommend to anyone at all. The reason why...I agreed to a two song dance at 25 dollars a song, that totals 50 dollars. The bouncer said i owed 125 dollars for 5 songs. I asked the manger TJ to look in to the issues for a refund he offered a few free admission pass and said he would review the flim to see what happen, he said he would like me know something asap. Two hours later still no refund no answer. TJ response, i cant review the flim untill it calms down and there is no one dancing. Im here on business matter and will be leavening for my home state on monday. So basically im out 75 dollar for something i did not receive and got the run around..

I went there on a Saturday evening hope to have a pleasant evening and nothing more. When I got there there was one overweight dancer and nobody was tipping or paying attention. The next dancer was fine but not very attractive to me. Then a cute blonde came on with a nice figure. I asked her for a private dance and everything was nice except she didnt need to tell me she was gay and doesnt find men attractive. I am not criticizing her lifestyle but she gave me information I didnt needed and basically I took it as a put down. Amera was here name I believe. Very cute girl though.The terror started when I went to pay the bouncer. It was a 2 dances for 1 special time with a cost of $25. The dancer agreed it was two dances but the bouncer got super intense (he seemed like he was on meth or something). He got in my face in a threatening way and claimed he had 4 dances on video tape which was B.S..I thought it might be a scam and I confirmed this by reading some of the reviews on cedarrapidsbeat DOT com website.The manager got things straightened out allow though he seemed annoyed and reluctant to do so.The psycho bouncer was stalking me for a while. I believe he was looking for an excuse to harass me more. I had had enough and certainy wasnt enjoying myself. When I left he even came out into the parking lot and continued harrasing me. I closed my windows and locked the door. I was ready to call 911. I just ignored him and drove off. I think the bouncers must get a cut if their little scam works.You could have a nice experience at the right time and with the right conditions but I would advise you to stay away. This place is a scam and could even be dangerous.This place is not even worth 1 star. I suspect they will be going out of business soon anyway.
