Very nice. But. The concession stand could use some help. If youre going to host and event you need to make sure you have COLD beverages.

This is a daddys league with a poor reputation among area H.S. coaches. Signed our son up for the non-select league only to watch him sit on the bench over half of every game while the coachs kids with terrible attitudes played all game, every game. I asked a few high school coaches in the area, who confirmed this is common for the CPYL, and recommended to stay away as the league does not develop kids well and the coaches have to spend a lot of time reteaching skills and attitudes for players that come through CPYL. I tried communicating with the board, which was a waste of time. Please learn from my, and others experiences, spend your money elsewhere, and set your kids up for success.

Not happy with this league. We signed up and paid the $175 for my 8 year old daughter to play. By the time we were informed that practices would be until 9pm two school nights a week, the refund deadline had passed. I explained to Jennifer Hunt, the VP of baseball operations, that 9pm was too late and wouldnt work for our family. I respectfully requested a good faith refund and she wouldnt do it. I guess its the most expensive shirt and socks that I have ever paid for.

Good fields and program... The bathrooms never have soap and are pretty gross. The parking is ridiculous- they need to re-paint the lines in the parking lot!!! So many people take up two spaces per car because they cant tell where to park. People end up getting blocked in because others park illegally. I couldnt get out of my spot the other day and had to wait awhile for the guy parked behind me to finish their game and move his car. He was parked out of the middle of the parking lot where there are no lines (its a big open area.) I wish the parking was more functional. Hopefully they fix it soon!

I highly recommend you stay far away from this league. Take your money and child somewhere else.

Gorgeous Fields - its like a fairy tell at night, they have really nice trees, really cool areas for kids to play while the games are going on. Just a great experience.

Great youth ballpark complex. Concession stand, and often snow cone truck. Clean bathrooms. Playscape for kids not playing ball. Covered seating for the fans, and covered dug outs for the teams.Practice batting cages. Fields are great and well maintained. Park is always clean and enjoyable. Parking is adequate, but not paved. An enjoyable game experience for all.

Great Baseball League for youth. It is really great that the league is directed by Volunteer Board Members. They seem to try and create the league structure around what the Kids and Parents are looking for in a youth baseball league. I have 2 kids playing at the 8 and 10 year old levels and the fields are well maintained for a privately funded (ie the City Doesnt pay for field maintenance) league. The stands are good, and with shade, and there are batting cages around every field for warming up, a huge plus. They provide National League and American League level baseball at each age group. The National League is designed for experienced, and competitive players. The American League is for players just getting into baseball, or are still working on developmental skills. The league also has associated Select Level teams at most age groups that compete in Super Series, Nations and other competitive nature tournaments. With those different levels, there is room for every level of baseball and softball player from 4 years to 18 years old. Most of my review is on baseball, since I only have boys playing in the league. They have a good softball program with dedicated fields, I have just never personally been involved.I will say this in my review, at many levels there is competition. Coaches, Parents and Players can Choose how competitive they want to go in this league. This is a Recreational Baseball League, but Baseball is a Competitive Sport, and score is kept at all games. The coaches are parents that participate in their kids lives, and there is almost always an opportunity for parents to get involved and be a part of the league, coaching or volunteering, its truly a family complex.

Having coached there for 4 seasons I have seen the good and the bad. Fields are in great condition due to the extreme amount of work put in by members and parents. I have developed great respect for the umpires that I have dealt with and have learned a great deal from them.I agree with the other poster who mentioned the politic side of things. Let me be clear, majority of board members are great people. In my opinion it is not the parts of the machine that is broken, it is the way the machine is ran that needs improvement. Bottomline, either stay far away from the machine or plan on being consumed by it. Anything in the middle and you will just be pulling your hair out.
