This little science museum was really impressive, especially in light of its modest size. The inflatable planetarium was really fun and functioned well. The Leonardo DaVincis Machines exhibit was top notch - well curated and interesting and accessible to patrons of all ages. Theyre on the other side of Austin from us, but I still plan on making the effort to go back.

What a great space for kids and adults to explore together! Very clean and open feel. Employees are always behind desk, but very eager to discuss any questions you may have. There are many stations that educate about science and technology in a hands on style, which is the way most kids learn and that approach makes the experience a lot more memorable and fun. We had a fantastic time when we visited on a Labor Day. Will definitely be back to explore all of the stations and the Planetarium!Make sure to ask about the scavenger hunt!

As much as I want to love all museums and places where my kids can learn this place just doesnt have it. The only bright spot was the woman who presented the solar system movie but even then it was basically Google Earth but much older technology and graphics. Lastly, this place is about 3 times more expensive than it should be. Just not worth it.

This Museum is definitely small however we knew that going in and were not expecting a huge interactive Museum. Knowing that this was a small Museum due to the fact that they are fairly new and growing was an appeal for us because we wanted to support them. My kids have been to larger Museums several times and they still had a blast here! We originally went for the King Tut exhibit however it was no longer there but after I told the staff how obsessed my daughter was with Egypt the woman running the planetarium show catered to her and incorporated some facts about Egypt. My favorite part of this experience was how dedicated and passionate the staff was about providing the best experience for our whole family. Every one was extremely nice and informative I feel that the staff made this experience more personal than I have ever experienced from the larger Museums. We were thankful for the opportunity to support this place and I encourage those who want to have a larger Museum available in their community to do the same so that they can continue to expand. I have no doubt that this facility will continue to improve and grow, we will definitely return if we find ourselves in the area again! Thank you to all of the staff for your dedication to providing this experience and education to families and for exceeding our expectations!!!

The Tut exhibit was interesting, but small and unfortunately its only temporary. The planetarium exhibit was the best part science wise but only lasted 30 minutes and was rather small. The rest of the museum was dinosaur fossils and was small. My family (3 adults, 1 child) got in with a Groupon and enjoyed it for the price and even purchased 2 books (one a brief lesson on hieroglyphics, the other Carters experience with Tuts tomb) But had we paid the original entrance price, we would have been furious. The museum does allow reentry for a whole day so it would be a good place to kill some time I suppose. Highly recommend going to each of their shows as the Phantom of the Universe was amazing and educational.

TX MOST is still a very new business at a little over 1 year old but their exhibits are a nice way to keep children and adults alike entertained and thinking about possibilities in the world around them. If you go here expecting a fully established museum without prior research, youll be disappointed. I personally think theyre doing a wonderful job at bringing in exhibits that allow them to economically gain traction that will eventually bring forth more funding for facility and exhibit improvements. All things start small, unless you have enough money to start big, and Ill continue to take advantage of exposing my children to that very reality of business and life, as well as the interactive and knowledgeable pieces they put out.

I have to say I am a little disappointed. The museum was just okay. I was very excited about the planetarium, but it was very small and extremely hot inside. The show was just all right. The Egyptian exhibit was disappointingly set up. I had expected to be able to spend more time there, but we were able to see/read every thing in under 40 minutes. For the price, I had hoped there would be enough to keep us occupied for at least an hour. And with the eclipse coming, I had hoped to have a show dedicated to the monumental event. I learned a little, so it was not a total waste. But I dont think Ill be back.

Going to see Body World was an enlightening experience. The complexity of the exhibits was incredible, and awe-inspiring. My only disappointment was that there werent any of the animal exhibits along with the humans. It is very important to watch the short video before going in to see the perfectly preserved bodies. The process of creating the exhibits is as amazing as the exhibits themselves. It is difficult to comprehend that the bodies on display are actual human beings, and not simply simulations of the human form created by a sculptor. I hope the museum can bring in other exhibits of equal magnitude.

The planetarium was definitely the main attraction and was very interesting. It is small however, and seats fill very quickly. Most kids just lay on the floor. They have multiple shows, and we watched two of them. It was very cool to see telescope images of planets and stars in this way. The two guides we had were very rehearsed and talked very very fast, which made it hard to understand everything. We saw the Tutenkamen exhibit also, which was interesting, but the items were very obvious replicas made of cheaper materials. They also had some fossil replicas of early creatures. It was a bit expensive for what you get, but it was still good entertainment and education for my boys and me. We were there about 2 hours, including the 2 planetarium shows.

Dont waste your time or money. This place is a joke. This may be what Texas is used to as a museum, but we moved from across the country this summer and this place is ludicrous in using the term museum to classify itself. This is a rented warehouse space with some well-done replicas placed inside with a whole bunch of information on plaques. And when I say some I do not mean a lot. It is tiny and the only technology here is a bouncy house planetarium. Planetarium show was cool but theres no way this place is worth more than $5. It took us 30 minutes to get through everything and then we sat through the 30 minute planetarium show. And that was the entire experience. It is tiny. It is ugly. And in comparison to actual museums, this place has no business calling itself a museum. College class project would be a better classification.

The clerk made it seem like it was going to be really cool and neat with a few things but one--we didnt get to do the planetarium thing and the dumpster wasnt...really interesting. Even free on Earth Day and with a cool King Tut exhibit, I felt like it was questionable whether it was worth the visit. The place is probably more fun for three to five year olds. Very friendly folks, though, and they try to be helpful. Not much to see as a museum, felt more like a temporary warehouse of stuff. Dont go for the planetarium part, it is less than interesting - a mobile, once again temporary, set up of blowup tent.

This is a good start for a science museum. They utilize traveling exhibits and dont seem to have stationary exhibits other than the planetarium. What many people dont realize is that membership has reciprocal rights with many science museums across the country. Its a great gift, that keeps on giving. Go on vacation out of town and you can visit the local science museum. If they receive local support they will be able to grow into the science museum suitabke for Austin.EDIT - The museum closed at the end of January. Unfortunately, we gave it as a gift to my sons family. Luckily they went 2 weeks before everyone received a letter saying they were closing ans memberships would be transferred to the Bob Bullock museum. They received parking passes and tickets for the IMAX theater. They also have reciprocal membership here as well. So It wasnt a big loss.Thank you Bob Bullock Museum for stepping up.

I took my two young grandsons (1st grade and K) and we had an incredible day of learning. We went on a Saturday where the staff provided an interactive technology day. The boys were fully engaged in learning while constructing and problem solving at the stations. They learned and retained high level concepts while developing projects - hands on. We loved the planetarium by laying on the floor and viewing the sky provided by 4D technology. We did a lot of talking about the King Tut displays and the small dino exhibit. They enjoyed playing in the childrens free center and picked out reasonably priced gifts. It was a fantastic day of discussing a wide range of concepts that they will learn in upper elementary grades. The staff was amazing; kind; patient and eager to teach. We asked questions and they were happy to provide answers. Admission is costly. I am glad that they had the extra technology activities. I would recommend going on those particular special days.

The rest...well it looks like they spend more money on their website than on anything else. I can build all this stuff what they have with trash too. They want so much money and offer nothing.Oh...and when we arrived there they didnt even know if the planetarium is working.

This should not be open to the public. You should get grants to open a full museum, not steal peoples money to see cheap, dusty, replicas. Cob webs everywhere, which is surprising since nothing is legitimately historical. Dont call yourself a technology museum if what you currently offer is 6, 3d printers against a wall not doing anything. The planetarium show in a tarped off dome with lawn chairs was a nice touch. Not that the warehouse its in with the sports players painted on it shouldnt have made me stay away. Im the idiot here. But, not so much.Went on a school field trip last year with my 3rd grader to this place and there was lots of fun interactive things for the kids to experiment with and interact with. Today, not so much. There was a king Tut Exhibit and a fossil exhibit. We had already seen the fossil exhibit a year ago. Nothing for the kids to interact with. They also had a blow up planetarium. They had a cool 3D printer exhibit, but no one there to tell you about it or to demonstrate it. Boo!Unfortunately we wont go back. After 5 minutes in the museum, I kindly asked for a refund and was refused by the not so professional manager or staff. Not at all impressed. This is the first step to a world-class Science Museum and Planetarium in Central Texas. Given its unique location in a business park, I didnt have high expectations (or even knew the team behind this new museum). When we walked in, the lobby needs some work to make us feel like we walked into an actual museum, but once inside, it exceeded our expectations. Think of this more like an awesome Planetarium that has some neat science experiments surrounding it and youll have a great time. We were fortunate enough to catch a special presentation in the Planetarium by the founder of the museum, where he was demonstrating some incredible software to a special group of people. We were blown away by what we learned. I thought I knew a lot about space, but every stop in this journey through space presentation, I learned something new. It was a lot of fun. When the first film unexpectedly stopped, her reaction was a loud oh sh**. I was shocked. She warned us in advance that the feature was a Russian film with Russiansubtitles but was narrated in English. She also warned us the there was a depiction of a full female nude. Yes it was artistic but hardly appropriate to be seen by children visiting a planetarium. I had my 2 little nephews aged 5 an 7 with me. Can it truly be this was the only film they could find? The other film was a long advertisement on the dangers of light pollution. Overall a very disappointing trip.An episode of Bill Nye the Science Guy would have been more entertaining.
