The only thing worst than the dilapidated clubhouse and poorly kept course was the extremely rude clubhouse attendant. He yelled at us the moment we walked in the door, rang us up for 18 instead of 9 and tried making us pay for 18 because it was already rang up. Terrible customer service from the owner of a small business I would have liked to spend more money with.I would expect nothing else from an IU fan. Boiler up!If I am ever that unhappy, please drag me through the dead grass and into the scummy pond to put me out of my misery.

Super hot day today. Asked the guy that we paid for golf to buy a six pack of beer from the bar. Told us we couldnt buy beer from the bar. He told us we had to drive out to the half way house for beer. We said, Why cant we just buy them from the bar? He said the owners fiance would be mad at him if he sold us beers and we didnt buy them from her. When did businesses start catering to the workers over the people that are bringing in the money??? Bought a six pack from the halfway house, drank ours beers quickly, because it was super hot. Went back to buy more and they were closed too. Wont be going back to this goat pasture.

Played a best ball scramble, the event was very nice, drinks were very reasonably priced, the fairways and greens were in very good condition, the second cut was inconsistent (but not horrible). Overall, very nice course, i would reccomend if you are in the area. Only down side, 18 birdies app confused a few greens and had them crisscrossed, no fault of the course (app needs updated).

I can see this course having good potential. But fairways seemed like they havent been cut in at least a week. Was having issues finding ball even in the fairways because the grass was so tall. Greens definitely need to be rolled.Friendly staff. Just very frustrating having to spend time after every shot looking for my ball, especially when its in the fairways.

All I can say is FRIDAY NIGHT DINNERS ROCK!!! Its a diamond in the rough! Small restaurant with a beautiful view of Cedar Lake. Its only open from 430-830 but the selection of food along with the amount of food you get is outstanding and rare! The salad bar comes with all dinners and it has some of the best soup Ive ever had! WARNING this place get busy so dont expect a fast dinner(fussy people stay away) Actually enjoy your time with your family/friends and eat your heart out!

With all the rain that they had course is in pretty good shape . A couple of holes were rough because golf cart tore it up.

Golfed here many times as this golf course is close to where we lived......My dad called and with all the rain asked how the course is...the woman that answered the phone said it is in outstanding shape...He asked if it was dry as it hasnt rained for 4 straight day ..she said course was great...so we decide to go...Look I fully understand with all the rain we had the courses will be challenged ...but dont mislead people just to take their money and say its in great shape....The fairways were like a mud bog for a monster truck rally....If you looked for your ball you almost lost your shoes in the ground...Every sand trap was filled with hundreds of gallons of water...ducks were swimming in some....The 18th green had hundreds of piles of geese poop on it....doesnt take much to have 1 guy sweep or blow it off...My ball hit the green on the second stop and hit the poop and stopped instead of going towards the pin...Our cart sounded like it was ready for the boneyard..you step on the gas and it sputtered before accelerating....Now like I said I fully understand with the weather we had but it is the golf course responsibility to be honest with people whem they call and ask the condition of the course...It wasnt a fun round although we tried to have a good round....it didnt rain and no one was ahead of us.....I see why now...I joked with the starter when I put my cart away when we were leaving...I said the fairways were mud pits..his response was well we have to water themI said you dont have to water the sand bunkers..his response.. those are our pondsI said We would like half my money back...He just laughed.....I feel for courses in the area with all the rain I really do...but you can be proactive and pump the sand bunkers out with water pumps like so see at some courses...and as far as maintenance on the greens doesnt take much but 1 guy with hand tools or a blower..They have the money because they charged us full price....also the cart paths...have craters in them where you can bury a basketball...Menards has blacktop patch and its 11% rebate right now guys!!!Been going here for years and lately it has been rough...some things are easy fix some take money and time....but to do nothing is a shame...

Beautiful, well maintained, and a mere few kilometers south of the Champlain Bridge. But you have to serserve well in advance as this country club is well in demand, particularly during summer time

Fun course...Greens need some tending very bumpy

Great golf course, incredibly friendly staff. I dropped my work phone out on the holes and they were all out helping me look for it.

Very upset with the incredibly rude man that works the club house. A friend and I, he being a veteran tried to play the course on Memorial Day at 5 pm was treated with such disrespect and was told the course is closed. I dont understand why on a gorgeous day at 5 pm the course was closed but a simple sorry we are closed for the day would have sufficed. Instead he was extremely rude asking how we got into the club house (the doors were open and there was no sign stating they were closed). I will never try to spend money at this course even though it is less than a mile from my house. I would not recommend anyone to play there.
