I enjoyed The Croods: New Age with my family. Im so used to going to Cinemark 17, that I forgot that the other theaters dont all have kitchens.

The theater is nice and clean. Usually snacks are good! My son enjoys the popcorn, slushy and hot dog.Came for the first time in months. They now sell Pizza Hut pizza. It’s too early too try but next time I’m sure I will try it out. It’s very nice. Employees were super friendly, helpful and nice! Of course you need the necessary staples, a drink and popcorn.Went last week to find they had new seats! They are nice and comfy. Not to bad when you going during the workweek and it’s almost empty.

I usually go during the day so the lines arent too bad for tickets and food. Ive never had any problems with the staff for the past several years. They are all pretty friendly and understanding. The snacks are what you would expect. Popcorn is tasty, drinks are cold, and the candy selection is good. The new seats in all the theatres are really nice and spacious. Overall, a good place to see new movies!

Went there to see secret life of pets. It was a great place to take our kid to watch the movie. Older theater would not go there on date night. But great place to take the kid for Saturday matinee.

We went for a birthday party that was nothing short of a joke. All kinds of fees and charges for the guests that were not told to the birthday family. We were supposed to get a host and she kept disappearing and we had to go to the front to find her and ask if she would come help us. No trash can in the party room, which happened to be a sweat box closet under the stadium seating of one of the theaters. The entire experience was a joke and I hope that everyone who attended writes a letter to the management.

This place has an old world charm.

I did not like this theater. The AMCs usually allow drink refills. This location had their fountains drinks accessible by design for customers self service. However they decided to block that access with chairs etc.. (They are saving the drinks for the evening customer.) Go figure I paid the same price they would be paying after 6pm.Any way

Service wasnt really used. When I went to get 3 Icees, the employees were patient and helpful. My request was answered quickly and met me with the exact expectations. I highly recommend.

Lots and lots if teenagers. Just be aware. They were well behaved the night we went and lots of law enforcement on premise

Can someone explain the placement of the cones. People arent aloud to drop off kids at the front entrance. I believe Cinemark must revisit this decision. Please comment.

Lets replace the love with like. I watched a very good movie at this Cinemark. People that work here do there job properly.

Have lived in the general area for more than half my life, & no wonder I never knew this place existed! It’s in a pretty decent neighborhood & the Cinemark by my house is great & has the best seats. But this place stinks, literally. Not only are their matinee prices a dollar more per ticket than Cinemark 16, but they charged me the adult price for my 12 year old. Absolutely nuts. And yes, as I mentioned, the bathrooms smelled of all the bodily fluids; they looked clean but the smell made me not want to touch anything in the entire theatre. If they any properly clean the bathrooms, I can only imagine how dirty everything else in the building is. This was definitely a one- time visit.

This theater definitely need renovated. The seats dont recline and the sound system is horrible!!...I only live 4 miles away and choose to go to the one in Grand Praire. My home entertainment system is better so why down grade to go enjoy a movie. Its sad that this theater did nothing to keep up with the times to make everybodys experience equal or better than what people have at home.

Matinee prices arent bad. There was a small line for tickets because patrons choose their own seats. Waiting for popcorn took twice as long. The seats were comfortable enough. They dont recline but you can lift the arm rest. The restrooms had several stalls and were clean.

Love to come here its nice and clean love the old school feeling of it, Tickets are at a decent price and love to come for the especial events saw all the digimon movies here

This place is actually pretty nice, its always nice and clean.

Good service as always. And the theaters are never really packed. When I go, maybe 15 or less people in there, which is an advantage for everyone

This Cinemark was pretty good. The lines were long at the concession stand were long, but they did move fairly quickly for the amount of people in line. The auditoriums are a decent size. The seats were average comfort, but the armrests were narrow and more cramped than average.

We love the old school guy who takes the tickets. He brightens our day.

This theatre was cool pricey but cool they offer pizza hut items now so its cool but its pricey the theatre cudve been cleaner the bathrooms are doable the general manager was cool he allowed us ton switch show times due to the theatre being crowded we had a group n we all couldnt sit together son he allowed us to change times so that was cool

Saw 1917 movie. Great flick. Would recommend it to anyone.

Watched equalizer 2 tonight and during the middle of the movie, an uneducated woman screams at the top of her lungs, “you better get your free passes because it’s hot”. First of all, that was obnoxious and the lack of education was very evident. I am a hot natured person and honestly, I was comfortable during the whole movie. As we were leaving, I see all these people lined up outside demanding a refund after they saw the ENTIRE movie. It’s sad to see how dishonest and distasteful people can be. Every one of those people saw the whole movie and decided to take advantage of one lady’s ignorance and rip off cinemark.I, for one, am very satisfied with cinemark. My wife and I are very comfortable when we go and we experience great service.

I love the theater,similar to AMC but there are slight difference. Good customer service with different kiosks to accompany the crowds. I love the movie theater screens. Fist time experience was memorable,I plan to return.

Great very clean and friendly customer service. Loved it one of my favorite locations very secured with on site cedar hill police force, and the auditoriums are updated with luxury recliners and tilt back leather seats.

Saved money by getting the app which was suggested by the ticket guy and love the new upgrade with the seats.

Unsupervised kids were all over this place, tried watching the movie and they talked loudly. Played around and everything I had to complain. Got my refund I will never go back ever again.

I like the reclining chairs. I wouldnt recommend as a couples spot. Just jaded i guess. Enjoy the show

My boyfriend and I went to see Frozen 2. While the staff was a little slow, they were still friendly. What really ruined the experience for us was the massive group of rambunctious teens that talked, moved around, and were on their phones the WHOLE way through the movie. It got so bad that they had to literally pause the movie, and a police officer had to come in to tell them to stop. Unfortunately, with all the effort on managements end managements end, the teens did not stop. We made it through the movie, which was good, but did not enjoy the experience at all.

Seating chart on line was wrong. The seats were not as comfortable as the reclining theater chairs that they have in Grand Prarie which is by far a much better theater at which to enjoy a film

Had a great time, wish they had more staff at concession stand, wait was long so go early. Saw Green Book, excellent film, expressed my life to a degree as Ive lived a similar experience. Sorry Spike, I loved your movie but this was a great story too. This is a story of a person that experienced a significant emotional event, those experiences usually changes lives, it appears this was the case in this story, we change hearts one person at a time.

Long lines in the cold only 1 teller - the auto tellers are always broken or turned off. It doesnt get much better inside - staff has generally been rude. You stand in a concession line only to have the staff suddenly walk off and not come back? The seats are often in need of repair and most of the theaters are dirty. The only positive is the kind older man who takes your ticket and directs you to the theater. Management needs to show some pride and stop making excuses for the lack of key positions such as 1 teller at the window

Its very quiet but they could get a little better at cleaning inbetween movies but overall its good service!

I just tried to a purchase ticket for my son to see a rated R movie. I was told that I had to watch the movie with him. I have purchased tickets for him to see rated R movies before. I spoke to the manager & I was told the same thing. But my son had friends who bought tickets to see the same rated R movie. So does this apply to kids who are not 17. Everyone of the clerks are not checking like the guy told me at the window. I’m disappointed because if I give my son permission to watch the movie it shouldn’t be a problem.

Decent place but the seats do not have recliner and they also didn’t accept my popcorn refill I had bought earlier in the day which upset me and my wife. Overall friendly but won’t be coming back to this theatre.

I went to see Captain Marvel at around 8:30pm, about a week after it came out. Both the ticket and the concession lines were short. The theater was clean, and I enjoyed my experience there. I would definitely go back

We never go after 5PM. So its usually pretty nice and not too crowded. Food is typical theater fare. They have begun reserving seats. But the process is still clunky. Go to the ticket booth, pick your movie, then the movie employee tells you to pick your seat from a faded screen that is 4 feet off the ground. Good luck if the suns out. Your ticket now has your seat number on it. I am going to try ordering tickets before I go, next time.

Overall pretty standard theater; none of the amenities of larger venues. Ive been multiple times as it is the closest to me. This was my first time going to see a really late movie though. So be warned, if you go to their latest showing and it is a long movie like Avengers: Endgame, they will try to sell you a ticket for an earlier showing that is already 30 minutes in progress and lie to your face stating that the requested movie is no longer available even though it is not showing sold out on their marquee and tickets are available for purchase online. Its not my fault you dont want to stay up late. No one forced you to get a job at a movie theater.------------------------- Addendum 05/21/2019 -----------------------------Drive to the theater to see John Wick 3 for the 12:40 showing that was on their website. Get to the theater and all doors are locked and it looks vacant. Now the earliest time is showing 1:55. Someone please rectify the discrepancy between your theater and the online box office.

The service itself was okay, however, most everything else about my experience at this theater was very poor in quality. The floor in the theater was so sticky I could literally hear when someone lifted their foot up. The theater room was rather small and thus it was cramped. I understand that this is something that cannot be easily changed, however, it does mean less space to sweep and mop, making the state or the floors inexcusable. The restrooms also lacked toilet paper, which still wasnt as bad as the sticky floor but was still unpleasant to deal with. I recommend not using this theater until they are able to prioritize the cleanliness of their theater rooms.

Good movie(though its the movie writers that deserve that kudos), but, my popcorn was stale, tasted like dirt, had a hair in it, and is now the most likely source of my stomach pain. (Having eaten any thing else in the past 12 hours)

Nasty, ghetto and bug infested! Felt stuff crawling on my legs and feet and not long after my legs and foot were itching. I have bite bumps all over my legs. Didn’t come from my house. Don’t wear shorts here or open toed shoes. I’ll stick to studio movie grille in the future!

Im sorry, I wouldnt return at all...Customer service was very pleasant, however, the theater is outdated. Ive gotten use to the reclining comfortable seating, but this theater does not have it, and the seats are too close for comfort. I was worried with the heavy police presence, because that makes me feel that the theater has some issues, and most of the teenagers or pre-teens were not accompanied by their parents, and noticed many of them coming in and out the theater as if they were sneaking into the movie, and a manager came in to review their tickets, and moving them in different seats, or sending them out..

Always a good time, good seats and fresh popcorn.

Went to see badboys for life got there at 2pm 2/3/2020 mon It was very dirty popcorn everywhere When you 1st walking in Ladies restrooms was smelling like Sewer

When arriving at the theater there was only 1 line open with a line to the street. The restrooms were disgusting. The mens restroom smelled like someone had urinated on the floor. I informed a manager but nothing was done about it. Tried the family restroom and it was the same. Upon leaving the theater the 1st restroom was still the same. This used to be my favorite place to go. But I believe that this is my last time here. The only time things seem fairly pleasant is when Tommie is taking the tickets always greets you and always has a smile on his face.

Went to see Parasite with my girlfriend and the seats were filthy. Popcorn remnants everywhere! Chairs arent as comfortable as other theaters Ive been to.

Clean theater, pretty quick lines, comfortable chairs. They had free refills on their large popcorn and large drinks. Good place, kid friendly, will definitely be back.

Went last night to watch a movie. Had to sit on the lowest row because it was so packed and had to look up at the screen the whole time to watch the movie. I do not recommend sitting there. Next time I’ll just get my money back and watch at a time and day there is not so many people. The greeter they have is awesome very kind. I should have gotten his name. I will go again but not sitting on that first row ever again!

Im sorry but this place is small, not clean, the non reclining chairs are just no good. The only thing good about the visit was the money

I used to go to movies at Cinemark Cedar Hill frequently, but now I go 1x per quarter. Every time I go to the movies, I order the Angus Hot Dog. No matter what time I come to the movie, they never have any ready and then I have to wait 15-20 minutes for them to cook. My other concern about this theater is that the clientele has declined over the past few years. There are a lot of young kids and teenagers that are at the movies during peak times and they are allowed to hangout and be disruptive to other movie goers. There is security on-site, but it doesnt seem to deter the excessive foolishness.I now go to Studio Movie Grill instead of this Cinemark location which is actually closer to my home. I rather pay a few extra dollars and get a higher quality movie and dining experience.One highlight that I would like to mention is the ticket taker inside the atrium. I do not recall his name, but he is a very cordials middle aged African American male. He is awesome and always seems to really enjoy his job. He is a keeper!

Our experience was amazing. It was a mixed up with the seating and the manger was awesome! Thanks a lot for making our experience memorable.

Ted is a wonderful host and stellar person. He greets everyone talks about current events and makes everyone feel welcome. Younger staff members know the neighborhood, because they live in the neighborhood. They help me because I am a person that is disabled they help me in and out the doorsand if necessary to my car. I’ll just be glad when they remodel and get the lounging chairs.

I had a great time watching the movie

Went to see a movie at an evening showing. From the beginning, people were running around, shouting, and playing games on their phone at full volume through the movie. 15 mins into the movie, the police were called in, because no one working for the theater would do anything to break up the gangs of kids disrupting all the movies. The police shut down all the showings, and the clerks were refusing to give refunds until some lady shouted at them about it.I will never go back to this theater. Cinemarks in general have been getting more and more disrupted lately. Probably wont ever go back to another Cinemark, either.

This movie theater has no student tickets and child tickets are to age 11. I spoke with manager because my sister was 14 years of age with her student id and he told me theres no school around them so they do not have student prices! Really your in Cedar Hill there are several schools around you including the CV satellite school and the elementary school. It was early in the day and we couldnt get matinee prices either. Just crazy and made no sense at all. Sorry I cant give a good review for my experience.

Everything has a line that takes 45 minutes to an hour. They also dont give REFUNDS if it took you so long In line that you missed parts of the movie. They said its your choice to miss the movie you didnt have to wait in line to get popcorn.

Standard movie theatre. Sometimes smells like fart or porta potty but you can over look it for the sake of cheap tickets

Great spot to grab a movie. Especially since its the nearest theater but my last visit the place was disgusting and it seemed like no one was in a hurry to clean it up. Even though the place needed sweeping, the ticket taker Im not sure of his name but he was so attentive and his area was so clean, he greeted everyone with a smile and if you had to wait in line for your movie to start he made sure that time went by fast. So 5 stars for him.
