Absolutely disgusting experience. Started off at the concessions.. where the MANAGER dropped someones bag of popcorn on the filthy floor.. then proceeded to refill it and gave it to the customer in front of me! If that wasnt bad enough, we get into the theatre and everywhere is trashed. Nothing had been cleaned prior to the showing. This included drinks still in cup holders and popcorn/buckets everywhere. It was absolutely disgusting. I wouldve gone to the manager to share this feedback.. but then again, the manager was one of the biggest issues.

Saw Bad Times At the El Royale with a friend. Comfortable seating with clean floors, not sticky. Good place for a flick.

Fun place to take the kids. The theater is smaller than others I have been in but it also isnt generally all the busy when we go in. The times that I have gone the theaters seemed clean and neat. Slightly outdated but over all a good experience.

Why do they insist on keeping SO COLD in theaters!! Not to mention spending 22.50 on 2 tickets and another 22.00 on a large popcorn and 2 pops!!! Give me a break. Could be why we were the only 2 people in the whole theater at 10:00 on a Friday night.

I was thinking about going to see Once Upon a Time in Hollywood tonight but you dont list your prices and no one answers the phone. The answering machine says to check the web page for pricing information, but as far as I can tell it is not listed. If it is listed it must be buried.Ill wait for the movie to be in an online streaming format.

Yes, there are certainly newer, larger, and more state-of-the-art theaters out there but this one is still pretty nice. Charming and affordable with friendly staff members. I watched several movies here in the summer of 2011 while a student.

This theater has good show times and decent prices (when you come on a day that has deals). However, it is very run down. Both signs are in pretty bad shape and it is very representative of the rest of the theater. Climate is often on the colder side so bundle up, but that’s also a marketing trick for making movies more enjoyable, so you can’t really hold that against them. Hopefully the owners and corporate give this theater the love other of their theaters have gotten. The staff is nice and friendly and I always have good service.

Marcus theaters Hosted a event for Viking pump and we had to wait in line for 30 minutes for Snack bar, ices Ran out, This is a second year there was too long a wait.Should have Had extra staff for at least the 1st hour or so! My son went back for a refill because he did not get the icy he wanted the 1st time and we are rewards members with Marcus theaters and he was denied one!

The lights are on a little too much to be fully immersed in to the movie, but otherwise its your average movie theater. Seating was more comfortable than some theaters Ive been to throughout my life.

Comfortable seating and good sound (in my opinion) with, I think, 12 screens. Ive never had to worry about ordering tickets ahead of time, because even the busiest nights rarely sell out completely. Four stars because I think that, for an Iowa movie theater, the tickets are pricey; however, if youre a UNI student and go on Thursdays, tickets are $5!

Well, the movie we went to was funny. Ive got to say, this place isnt what I remember. The toilets in the bathrooms are disgusting. Partitions have crazy dust build up. Seating in the theatre should be updated to bistro because they are extremely uncomfortable. 5$ movie Tuesdays are always a plus. Too bad that the Tuesday snack deals are only for members..they should really say MEMBERS TUESDAY SNACK DEALS, instead of Tuesday snack deals. Misleading advertising, which makes people spend 15$ more than they were intending too. Overall experience, wont be going back.

Seems like this theatre needs to invest in some updates and catch up with the times a bit. It was a perfectly adequate place to watch a movie, and they have relatively fair prices. However, front desk/lobby/concession area is lacking in space and employees, and the chairs aren’t the most comfortable.

Horrible! Horrible! Machines were down and no manager on duty. Staff rude and couldnt figure out how to print movie tickets then told us the wrong theater. Finally found the right theater and it is full of garbage from previous movie. Went to get popcorn and tried to use reward points, staff couldnt figure out how to apply them to my purchase. Never coming here again!

Went to a double feature of sorts..the Mr. Rogers movie and then on to midway...both good movies...comfortable seats..ungodly high concession prices...nearly 15 dollars for a small popcorn and small drink...5 dollars for a bottle of water...10.50 a ticket as well...hardly anyone at these particular movies..and at those prices I can see why...

Its fine. One of the older Marcus theaters Ive visited in the last several years. Sat in a non-stadium auditorium, which I didnt even realize was a thing anymore. At the end of the day, youre still sitting in a big room watching a movie, so whats the difference, I suppose.

Went on a slow night. Very quick purchasing tickets, and the snack bar employees were friendly and efficient. The area to butter your popcorn was a little disheveled. Seating in the theater was comfortable, but the temperature in the building was pretty cool, almost uncomfortably so.

General theatre atmosphere. Clean, friendly. Has small arcade located inside after entering, on right hand side. Snack and concession bar. Pricing varies for snacks. Carpeted throughout bldg. Large restroom facilities generally well maintained. Seating accommodations for handicapped on lower deck platform of theatre close to screen. Lighted steps go up onto larger seating platform for larger movie participant population. Seats are plush and some recline a bit for comfort. Screens are large and easy to see from all angles. In general, a pleasant movie experience for the casual movie-goer.

No one cleaned the theater at the Rocket man movie. Only a handful of people but was still gross! Movie was good, popcorn was ok

Love this place. Its close to home and Tuesdays deals are ridiculous! Love their pretzel bites and cheese. Staff are courteous and friendly.

When I drop that kind of cash just to get in the door with my kids, I expect some level of comfort. It was about 55 degrees in Auditorium 2 at tonights visit. We were so distracted with how cold we were that it was hard to enjoy the movie. Funny thing is, I asked the staff to correct this issue before the movie even started, but to no avail. I had to step out into the lobby and the bathroom throughout the movie to warm up as it was at least 10 degrees warmer out there. I expect theaters to be cool, but we were all chilled to the bone while wearing our coats. I did my part to be comfortable, but you did not. If I hadnt paid so much to get us in, I would have left.

I like being in CF but this theater needs some renovations like the Waterloo one. The seats could use an upgrade with the dream lounger chairs and their was a weird damp smell throughout the theater.

Popcorn was stale and they dont have the ultrascreen or recling seats like crossroads in waterloo.

We came a little early to a family movie to which there are usually commercials and music and things of that nature that play before the movie. Usually this is not an issue but today they played a music video of some lady with her shirt completely undone and her bra and brests were visible through the whole video. This is especially disturbing for me and my boys as I am trying to raise them in a manner to not lust after women. I will not be coming back here again unless this is resolved. The video was named excuses or your mama raised you better than that. Disgusting.

Cedar Falls Marcus theatre has good, regular stadium seats, not loungers to sleep in. They keep up with cleaning & maintenance, so its a good movie experience.

Compared to the Waterloo theater, it feels a bit dirty, outdated and old. Not a bad place, but should not be as pricey as the Waterloo theater, when it isnt nearly as nice.

Typical suburban mall theater. Shows seem to run on time and the place is relatively clean. Every once in a while they surprise me with an oddball late movie that is only playing in a few select locations such as the Grateful Dead Meet at the Movies. Thanks for that College Square Theaters!

Theatre and the bathrooms were disgusting! There was popcorn from old visitors everywhere and trash in the cup holders. Bathroom had feminine hygiene products along the floor and only 4 of the toilets were tidy enough to use. I told the manager and the cleaning guy and neither did anything. No wonder College Square is dieing, the place is a dump! For as much money as it cost, you would think they could hire a cleaning crew. Very disappointed.

This is a great theater. Decent-sized auditoriums with reasonably comfortable seats. Tickets cost just a little more than youd like them too, but not so much to seem unreasonable, and the same goes for the concessions.However, if the movie you want to see is showing on the UltraScreen DLX at Marcus Crossroads in Waterloo, see it there instead. Youll pay a couple dollars extra, but its more than worth it.

This theater need major updating. today the movie stopped in the middle of the movie...there are times a urinal is broken...they need a theater with new dream loungers

Love the $5 Tuesdays and $5 Thursdays for students. That is a great deal. Not the best entry area, but the theaters themselves are pretty nice.

I love this theater location. Although the lobby seems a little small compared to the Marcus theater in Waterloo, it is easy to shop and eat while being right near the cinema. There is no Ultrascreen though.
