Better the last few years with no mask requirements....but its indoors & warmer than outside!!

What an honor it is to say Iowa State Championship Football in the comfort of a covered temperature controlled dome. The parking is actually close and easy to get into the main entrance. Plenty of seating available and decently comfortable with semi curved backs on each seat. They are not padded for those who want to bring their own. For a stadium built back in the 1970s you would never know it was that age, it has been maintained & updated throughout the years. If only the other 2 big state schools could get a covered dome on their fields they might get a few more choices re football recruits. For now this is the best football stadium in Iowa in my opinion even though Im a fan of a different schools athletic teams. UNI is a great school for my Highschool classmates who studied teaching & accounting. Im sure they have other great college majors- I just happen to recall from the mid 90s this was the college of choice for many entering the above 2 career fields.

Lady at the door was so RUDE and unhelpful!!!! We need LESS of that! Staff would say something to some people about the rules. But NOT others. All rules should apply to All attendees. Was not as good of an experience as it should have been. Good thing the behavior didnt affect our children.

Its fun watching a high school game here but the concession stands are crazy high for high school football.

We may be a bit biased as my husband played football at UNI but... Who doesnt want to watch a football game and be protected from the elements outside?? The band is AWESOME and always puts on a great show!

Very nice facility and well taken care of. Several inches of snow that time of year and sidewalks and parking lots were cleared out nicely. Food choices were limited due to the size of the event which is my only complaint. Great place to have collegiate track meets.

Make sure which entrance you should go in to be closest to your seat.

The new field at UNI dome is amazing. Thankful that they allow YSF youth football teams to play a game there each year.

I have been going to the High School football playoffs there for ever. Great place to watch any football game and I always love the place. Not a bad seat there. Go enjoy it when you can!

Love this place!

Not gonna lie this dome is quite small to other domes ive been to. I was here for Bands of America and performing here was decent but quite echoey. The turf here didnt have any crumb rubber sinked into the turf which was a weird feeling. I give it 4 stars because of the long lines on food here. Some food here are a little pricy but if you want something affordable, get the soft serve ice cream here!! Its $4 and you can get it in a cup or cone. It was definitely worth it but beware of the long lines on food here. Overall, decent dome but small.

This dome is spectacular. The way its built is cooler in the inside. Its so cool how they have a track underneath their turf, ya know for football and stuff. The only bad thing is the temperature, it can get a bit cold up in the stands. But otherwise the dome is well-built and impressive.

No place like Dome! Home of the UNI Panthers the Dome boasts a loud, energetic environment. Hosted here is also Iowa High School State Football, marching bands, and indoor track and field.

Im old and this beats sitting in a 25 degree wind-chill. Could probably stand a few updates but one of the better MVFC venues Ive been to. Hope to come back in 20 or 22.

Better sound. Need to insulate the walls. Too echoey. Cant understand announcer or hear music very well.

Its a good location but has a bad stadium. The dome causes a really bad echo and is terrible for marching band but good for football. The stadium is cool in concept but bad in reality. Never go there for marching.

It echos so bad you cant understand the announcer. A college should have someone to fix this. Upon further attendance, it appears that certain announcers/microphones cause this issue.

Beautiful facility, well run by mostly local volunteers during events.Good views from every seat. Well lit and covered in sound.

Very clean, awesome place to watch an indoor football game. Up-to-date technology. Support staff very engaging with the crowd.

Went to see Luke Bryan tonight and loved him. The reason for the low rating is because this venue sucks to go see an artist. My friend and I sat in section T, row 15, seats 13 & 14. Dustin Lynch and Little big town opened for him and pretty much the whole time that Little big town performed they stayed up on the stage with all of the equipment. We could not see them at all!!! All we got to see was the stage set up equipment and that SUCKED!!! UNI should have NEVER sold ANY tickets in this section. Also the seats SUCK!!! You better not be any larger than a size 7 to sit in these seats...talk about being packed in like sardines and not to mention how uncomfortable the seats were. Also, they need to set up more merchandise stations for the venue because all they had were two and you had to buy from the merchandise station that was set up on your ticket level. The line was obscenely long therefore we did not buy any merchandise...what a disappointment. We will not return to this venue no matter how much we want to see the artist!!!

No bathroom or drinking fountains on ground and no food or drink allowed. That was a unidome rule not USA wrestling. Not a good experience.

I went to see my nephew play football in the UNI dome. I loved it. The seats were comfortable, it was temperature controlled, and every seat was a good one. Parking was free, and getting a spot was a breeze. The UNI Panthers were fun to watch. I wish every stadium was like the UNI-Dome.

Went to a concert and this place jas no acoustic set up. Sounded horrible and wasted a lot of money.

Great inside sports & activity venue! Its nice to watch games in climate controlled environment! Not the most comfortable seating with bench-style seats, but do have backs. Clean & well-kept arena for the most part!

Typical college sports stadium - big and spacy! I went there for a robotics competition the other day; The Main arena is very spacious and has a vast echo. The seats were pretty standard in terms of comfort, but they offered a pretty good view.

I was forced to attend commencement, I was not impressed. Lack of alcohol was a definite negative.

Attended Luke Bryan Concert Feb. 2016. Sat on Hudson Road and it took us over an hour to move 1.5 miles to the parking lots for the UNI Dome. There should be portable digital signs to direct people which lane to be in as parking lots get full on certain sides of the road. Tickets should have directions on the best door to enter according to your seats. Missed the entire Dustin Lynch opening act because of all of this and we left Waterloo an hour before show time. We entered the building from the opposite side of our seats and there was a long congested line to enter. Tickets should advise best door to enter according to your seats. Waited in line 10 minutes to buy pop at a window that had fountain pop machines. When I got to the front of the line, I was informed that window sold beer only. Again, no sign to tell customers that. We did have a great view in the lower bowl Section R.
