As a parent seeking to support her daughter to pursue her passion for acting, Dan has been an invaluable resource for me and a mentor and role model for my daughter. He goes above and beyond to provide his students with the necessary skills for growing their talent and exploring their passions. Additionally, he helps parents understand steps to help encourage their children. We have only been with Dan Gauthier Acting Studio for about 6 months, but we cannot wait to continue. Dan has even gone above and beyond to work with my daughter during the stay-at-home order. I brought a team of business owners to Dans Improve class. We havent stopped talking about it. It was very very fun. I laughed till I cried and then just kept laughing. My face hurt. It was also amazing seeing the connections grow between our group. And lastly, I really think this helped us become better owners, better in front of group and better at going with it! We really enjoyed it and cant wait to do it again!

Dan and his wife Lisa are talented, supportive, accommodating, and fun. I started classes with Dan this winter, and I highly recommend them. Dan works well with people of all ages and experience. He provides great direction and encouragement. His talent as an actor is evident when he serves as a private coach, scene reader, or as a model for different performance choices. I also participated in Dan’s auditioning workshop ( led by the talented Dan Roebuck), and this, too, proved exceptional.

My daughter started classes here several weeks ago and has enjoyed herself since day one.It is great that Dan sends videos to you of your child during their lesson. The progression in each video is amazing and I can see she is really learning while in class.Dan is an amazing teacher. He is super friendly and the children are very comfortable with him.I recommend this acting studio to anyone who is looking for on camera acting classes.

Dan was exactly what I needed. Tons of positive energy and playfulness, which empowered me to really be myself for my self tape. Lisa kept things moving and offered amazing feedback on what audition to select. My overall experience with super professional and very supportive. I may drive from LA to Palm every time I need to do a self tape.

I just want to say that taking classes at Dans studio has been life-changing! The Commercial Workshop was really informative and helped me with my auditioning skills and grew my confidence level. I have had several auditions since I began the workshop and I feel so much more comfortable during the process. I am so glad I made this investment in my career! I cannot wait to start the Scene Study classes!

My wife and I hit Palm Springs for the weekend and decided to take an improv workshop with Dan. He put us at ease right away, was friendly and informative and kind, and he allowed us to express our creative ideas in a safe space. hes a natural teacher and encourages his students to trust that their contributions are worth sharing, even if its the first thing that pops into your head. hope we have a chance to visit with Dan again.

My daughter is an actress, and while in Palm Springs visiting the grandparents she had a self-tape audition opportunity. We were so thankful to find the Dan Guathier Acting Studio. Dan was very accommodating so we could send the tape in good time. He and his wife, Lisa, met us at the studio and read with my daughter. Coaching, direction, and quality of tape was great. Her agent was very pleased!

Was scheduled a corporate improv event here. Last thing I wanted to do after a long day at work. This ended up being AWESOME. Enjoyed some networking and social snacks and drinks. We did some improve activities like build a story with your teammates and learning about different emotions. My biggest takeaway is improv forces you to think on your feet , quickly adapt, be open to new ideas, and be okay with being out of your comfort zone . Skills that are applicable anywhere in life. Dan and Lisa really took the apprehension out and made the event very fun and not cheesy. They really know there stuff and had great feedback how to improve.

My son has had a great experience at Dan Gauthier Acting Studio! Typically, my son is more relaxed about things he does (doesnt show too much excitement), but these classes have really turned on his enthusiasm. Once he gets out of class, he says he cant wait until the next and it shows. He works diligently on his homework (monologues he is given to practice) and goes back all smiles. A big part of that reaction comes from Dans ability to make the class fun, low pressure, and educational. I highly recommend this studio to all seeking a new experience or to better their craft.

Ive taken other acting classes, but theyve always felt false or unhelpful to me. It was always scene study, or focus on interpreting a text.Dans approach is novel because under under his system, the actor isnt really interpreting the text. Rather, the text is interpreting the actor. Everything Dan preaches is about honesty, and the importance of letting the text drive your action and reactions, rather than trying to make it interesting or emote properly.Its a great class, Dan and Lisa are great. They create an environment where it feels safe to take risks, which is a big deal when so many acting teachers denigrate and demean their students.I highly recommend this class to anyone interested in taking their acting up a level - or writers, directors, artists who are trying to get in touch with that elusive spirit of spontaneity that always seems present when were at our best.

I love my current class with Dan Gauthier and his wife, Lisa. They are committed to sharing their experience from over 30 years of acting and it shows in Dans teaching style and all the little extras from Lisa. Class is a mix of improv, filmed scene study, all interspersed with Dans experience (stlll a working actor) and vast knowledge of the business. In addition to an incredible learning experience, I have never had so much fun in a class.

They are terrific, really know their stuff. Excellent!!
