A great selection of pottery to paint, and the glass is really fun to fuse aswell. They fire the stuff very quickly and you can just pick up your items all wrapped up.No pay for the paint, and there is a great selection of it. They have speckled paints too.

I came here 2 weeks ago with my son and the environment did not feel very welcoming. the woman who attended us quickly ran us through how this works as it was our first time here after I asked. The check out experience was just as unpleasant. She kind of just left us waiting there until I finally asked are we done here? this is our first time here then she just said yes and that they would text us when our piece was ready to be picked up. I waited to write this review until I picked up our piece trying to give this place and that woman another chance, assuming she was having an off day but yesterday when I picked up my sons art piece it was the same exact dynamic. It felt like we were a bother to this woman. My son was excited to pick up his piece and she made this experience equally if not more uncomfortable. She held out the art piece but i thought she was showing it to us for a while , finally when I reached over to get it, it seemed like she didnt want to let go and was holding it in a way pulling it back. Thats when she FINALLY asked if I wanted it wrapped but I was just already extremely uncomfortable and said no. My son and I left immediately after. I really dont think the woman was having an off day anymore because I noticed she was fine with the other group and then the lady that was there with her but not with us. The prices were fine but the customer service will be the reason we will never return.Ill also add, the woman I am referring to I believe was not the owner (otherwise thatd be a shame). This woman was tall and had grayish hair.

Great studio with some options I havent seen in any other pottery painting shop. Added photos from before and after firing what I now refer to as my pretty bank

Aran is the best! Took my mother here during an evening session as a Mothers Day gift, and we had a great time. We had so much fun and Aran was great at being available for help, but also giving us space. We love our creations and have gone back for more creative fun.

Great place for walk-in pottery, DIY, Do it yourself ceramics pottery and glass work in Castro Valley. They have it all. My two boys and I walked in to make something for Mother day. We received skillful guidance with glass work and it was fired and ready the next day. We are thinking of ceramics for Mom for the Holidays. They lead fun classes in the ACES after school program in SLUSD in San Leandro schools, always a big hit and they fill up fast. Son1 (12) and Son2 (10) both want to take summer classes here. Its a very cool shop. Release your inner artist. You will want to hang out all day.
