Staff was great & very attentive. According to my pal the drinks were also stiff. However, the food leaves something to be desired. My pal got the B. L.A.T and you could tell the chicken had been boiled previously then thrown on the grill for the marks prior to going on the sandwich. The biggest robbery of the night was my $32 Tomahawk Steak. No doubt at one point this was a Tomahawk but somewhere along the line it had obviously been cut in a least half or maybe even thirds. It was chewy and fat full, wouldnt recommend, couldnt even finish it. Good atmosphere tho, very Wyoming and definitely lives up to its name, The Fort. Id come here to drink and have a good time in a cool place but I wouldnt come here to eat.As a restaurant you live and die by the quality of your food.1/1 star for staff, 1/1 star for atmosphere, 0/3 stars for food.

The place is so unique. Love the multiple floors and the ambiance. The only reason why they only got 4 stars from me is because the staff was a bit distracted within themselves. No one at the door, no direction as of whether to seat self or wait. The staff talked a lot to each other and didnt pay much attention to customers but still had great food, cold but delicious after warmed up. Cook does steak on the under side, would have ordered more on the well side had i gotten better answer from beautiful server. Her beauty made up for it though.

Whoever needs someone to hire talent. Find the person who staffs this place. The people here are fantastic. The food was decent and was priced accordingly. A small improvement on food quality would make this place lights out.

Absolutely amazing food and service! Their google rating (3.9 on 6/30/20) does not reflect the experience that we had at all...we were a little bit hesitant to try it because the google review was less than a 4, but the look of the restaurant drew us in either way and I am truly glad that we gave it a try!The prime rib is some of the best I’ve ever had and the staff was super friendly! We will definitely be going back before we head home to South Carolina!Thank you for a great experience in Wyoming!

We had our anniversary dinner here, it was our first visit. We were seated in the bar section, during covid-19 only every other table was occupiedThe stakes were well prepared ,service was good and the food came in a timely manner.A nice dinner house that we would revisit if we were in the area

Dark, cool ambiance. Like being in an old fort. Attentive wait staff. Maybe scale DOWN the size of appetizers, for one person, or offer half orders maybe. Had the full rack of ribs, tasty but a little tough. Would definitely go for this steak house style restaurant again!

Had a wonderful anniversary dinner. The St Louis ribs were amazing! Our server, Annie was very attentive and her customer service was top shelf! Give that girl a raise for sure!! :)HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

I had a real bad experience. I called in 7 dinners for pick up, boy oh boy, and had the person repeat the order, she got it wrong and I repeated it again. Do I have a story. We had to go back twice . My Smoked Salmon Dinner was just that, oh and a purple garnish. I cant upload a picture or else I would. They didnt add any salad dressing for the Salads we ordered. No ketchup for the French Fries that were ordered, no utensils. We had just arrived from a long motorcycle ride all the way from Big Pine California with a few stop in between. What an experience. Never again. One more thing it wont let me post unless I give it a star.

The Fort has a wonderful happy hour from 2 to 6, half priced drinks and $4.00 pitchers. To go along with that is a Happy Hour menu with tasty selections. Mmm

Was told on arrival 20 minute wait so ordered take out. Within 5 minutes party behind us was seated! Made no sense but being hangry some noise was made. Fell on deaf ears. To go prime rib and filet mignon was great, but my loaded potato was not loaded. Might spend $ there again.

Ive been in Casper a few months living in La Quinta right next to the fort and thats my go-to restaurant and Bar the helps real nice bartenders are cool and the foods terrific.I like the Bloody Marys and i like the Prime Rib and the big chilli dog. I recommend this restaurant if youre in Casper.

Best prime rib I’ve ever had. Went here almost every night for a few weeks. Very reasonably price for the quality of food and drink prices. Servers were nice and fast one of my favorite bars of all time. I’m from Washington state and am temped to make the 18hour drive just to eat here again.

Bad wings! Ordered the teriyaki chicken wings only to find out they put straight teriyaki on it! No Buffalo or I would have gone that route! They need to learn to mix teriyaki with honey to make a glaze!

Great food and atmosphere. Had a very large bone in ribeye with all the fixings and was cooked perfectly. The service was great, never had to ask for a drink refill. Worse part is I only get to dine there once a year for hunting.... Highly recommend.

The service here was horrible. My waitress was rude to my family and took over 45 minutes to even put our order in. She is rude every time we come in. The food was not worth it.

I love this restaurant. They have the best food in Casper. From their steaks to there quesadillas their food is delicious. The place has a good western atmosphere and the staff is extremely nice.

Best menu in town. They go all out on their dishes. Stuffed avocado if you want something light. Fajitas if you want Tex Mex. Steaks and taters for the Cowboys. Yankee pot roast is unreal. Kids deserts have gummie worms in them. They have a huge horseshoe bar and a Poolhall with 8 tables in the back. Casper’s best hang out hands down.

Meat tasted old, very old, took two bites and could not eat it. Place looks good and I have to believe they spent all their money on decorations...should spend it on fresh meat. I will never go back there again.

Cant rated the food, I took it back. Should have read the reviews. Please go somewhere else. Ordered carry out, walked over from close by hotel. Got back to find half my food missing. When I called about it I was told I would have to go pick it up myself in 10 degree weather. I asked for them to bring it and was told if I was that close why couldnt I go get it myself? No apology until I went over myself and screamed at a manager. Too much DRAMA, no service!!!!

Truthfully, I feel for the price you would be better off going to texas road house. My stake wasnt anything special. No flavor. And here I sit at my table with an empty glass and havent seen my waiter. For the money spent here for a stake I could of got a porterhouse at Texas and thats a good chunk of meat. Ugh..

Never in my life have I walked into a restaurant at 7:15 for them to tell me they’re going to close at 8 PM but they’re going to close the kitchen at 7:30, another lady spoke up and said “no close it now”, for another lady to say “we’ll seat you and try to get your food, but last call is 7:30. Apparently there was to be a Labor Day Party. Mixed communications. Too many chiefs, not enough Indians. Enjoy your party- well give our money to someone who wants it.

Great steak and really neat place! When you walk in door it looks gross needs attention for sure. We almost left because of this, but pressed on inside. After inside was seated from very kind bartender. We sat up in booths and could still see tv and all the neat things in the walls. The people at the bar were using foul language and getting loud so it was somewhat annoying, finally someone told them to shut up because their were children that came in with family, so most of dinner was peaceful. The waitress was excellent. Steak salad fantastic. Could use some cleaning, but would come back.

Good steak and a decent menu. Had a nice waitress and great service. Mix of locals and tourists staying at the nearby hotels. Nice change from the chain steakhouses. Expect steakhouse prices but my sirloin was definitely worth it.

Cozy Western decor. Excellent service. Superb meal, cooked to perfection. 6oz NY strip was juicy and melt in your mouth good. Reasonable pricing for quality eats.

Barkeep was good, after that service was horrible. After ordering, the waitress ignored us, someone from kitchen staff delivered the food. Luckily, he took the reorder of my wifes glass of wine. Which the barkeep delivered. She did bring the bill. I guess that was important.

The service is great, probably the only real saving grace.We ordered the loaded fries with steak. The steak was like rubber and the taste of the steak was bland as could be.I ordered the country fried steak. It was cooked well, but again...no flavor.My son had the grilled cheese and tots. Both were mushy. His apple sauce actually had a hair in it.My wife had the bbq ranch quesadilla. It was the best thing we ordered. It wasn’t phenomenal, but it was palatable.

I had the big dip sandwich and ordered a side of baked beans. The sandwich was good nothing special however. But the baked beans were the worst I have ever had in my 60 + years on this planet.

Husband ordered salad and chicken fried steak. Salad NEVER came and the chicken fried steak appeared to be placed directly on the plate, out of the fryer. Huge puddle of grease under it .....gross! Had to chase Ricky down for our ticket. When he delivered our food without the salad, my husband was miffed. My husband said just forget it....Ricky should have brought him the salad. Poor service.

We ate lunch and ordered the wraps and quesadillas and the portions were huge. The food was wonderful. On our return trip we stopped again and had dinner and again the food was outstanding and you dont walk away hungry. Great place and atmosphere and wait-staff!!!

The food was pretty good. But honestly the help was the best part. My friend and I were outside smoking and our waiter at the time came out to let us know it was the end of his shift and he was leaving; he introduced us to our new waitress. I thought that was exceptional service. Then when we got the check; it was super cheap. We were not expecting that!!

Just find another place! If you want to drink beer and shoot pool then its a 5 star. But if you like good food this is not the place! Salad was tiny and the steak had no flavor. The menu is huge and if they made it smaller they could concentrate on improving their food!

The place was not busy at all when we were there, and it was over 15 minutes until someone came to ask what we wanted to drink. Then it took the waitress another 10 minutes to come back with our drinks, and to take our order. She was too busy talking to friends at the bar. When we got our food, it wasnt what we ordered. She said that is exactly what we ordered. What she brought out to us is nothing that my mother and I would even consider eating. Lets just say that she was not happy at all. Im sorry but maybe she should have listened better than worrying about talking to her friends. So we got our food the second time, my mother got her open faced beef sandwich, and I got the club sandwich. Well once again she still didnt listen, my club sandwich was so spicy, and my mothers beef sandwich had some kind of peppery spice in it. We told her, and she said that the beef sandwich doesnt have any peppery spice in it. Well I tried it, and it did taste spicy. The waitress just about called us liars. My mother used a spoon, and scooped up some gravy of course from somewhere where she didnt eat yet, and had the waitress taste it. She did and hesitated to agree that it was spicy. That was her first appology. My club sandwich was very spicy. On the menu there are 2 different club sandwiches, she thought I wanted the blackened chicken. I told her I would keep it, I didnt want to wait anymore. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. The place is not very clean either. I wish I could give zero as my rating. STAY AWAY!

Waitress spent too much time flirting with the bar men and eating ice cream, she never offered me help. Then acknowledged that she knew I was there and that the door staff had gone home. I was picking up a to go order. They need a bell if their not gonna man the door or have their bar staff offer help.

Service was horrible . No hostess at the front ,and then when we was sat ,it was at a dirty table.it took forever to get a server to come by and get our drink order ,when she finally brought our drinks we asked for straws , she disappeared and still didnt bring our straws finally we caught her to get one. Then we waited again for her to get our order . We was 1 of 2 tables she was waiting on .
