Ritter has a good playground. During Covid19 times I dont recommend going on the weekends. There is a basketball court, a couple baseball fields, a long paved walking trail, and a large covered area with picnic tables. Be forewarned, the open grass area by the covered picnic tables floods and stays wet for several days after a good rain.

We come here for baseball games. The fields are fine, though the third-base dugout on Field 2 gets the sun straight in their eyes in the evening. The bathrooms are centrally-located, which is kind of a pain if youre already at the game. However, the bathrooms are maintained well as youd expect at a Cary park. The location is fine if youre on the south end of Cary. Be warned that Google Maps may take you to a cul-de-sac on the back end of the park. If you want to get to the park be sure to turn in off of Lochmere Drive.

The park is designed for ages 2–12, but my 14 month old son could easily play on the smaller set and loved it.
