Such a cute little park in the middle of Cary. Because of COVID, there arent any balls or pieces for the games they normally have out, but the fountain is still lovely and there are plenty of tables and chairs. The lights up in downtown Cary make the nighttime really enjoyable here

Wonderful park! Fantastic fountain in the center, well designed bonsai around. Park tables and chairs for people to sit and rest. A delightful experience to just walk around it, which guarantees a good day. Look far from the park, big pine trees and blue sky in the background, what a paradise scene! Highly recommended for people visiting Cary downtown area!

This square is very nice, here you can enjoy listening to the sound of water falling from the fountain, having your coffee, you can even hear the clock chimes when they give the time!

The fountain in Downtown Cary Park is the perfect place for a casual meeting, first date or family gathering. Tables and chairs are scattered around for your use. The ping-pong table and other friendly sports make this area a strong pull for families. The fountain is the focal point whose light show is fun to watch.This is the best thing Cary has done in a long time! Parking is available in the Library garage, at the old library parking off Academy St., and on Academy St. its self.Take advantage of this park day or night!

The Downtown Cary Park is a beautiful place to take photos by the fountain. Be sure to have lunch at the Lithuanian food truck. Baltic Bites for a DELICIOUS meal!

Its a beautiful little place with a great fountain. Plenty of small things to do like ping pong and checkers, plus plenty of seating just for relaxing and appreciating the views of downtown Cary. Great place to rest your legs if youre on a walk.

This is a great spot to take your kids to eat outside while social distancing. They have chairs with umbrellas and lots of room for the kids to run around. The fountain is a lot of fun to watch while you eat, too.

Very cute park with games for everyone to play. Sometimes they put on little concerts or put up a projector to watch movies on the lawn. Its next to the public library and on the main strip of downtown Cary. A perfect place to go on a short walk or sit and hangout with family or friends.

Beautiful park, with places to sit, nice umbrellas for shade, a fountain and bathrooms. This is just one example of why Cary is the nicest place to live :) oh, and its also a great Pokemon go spot.

Its such a great place to go! I wish that we didnt have to miss out on the festivals that take place in downtown cary park. I also, noticed that the area was listed for sale. I hope that it isnt torn down if sold.

Outside table tennis, foosball, and picnic tables. Pretty fountain.Quick trip there on a late afternoon Sunday. There was an older gentlemen painting landscape at a table. A few insta-stars taking pictures but were courteous when you tried to get by them on the walkway. Very family friendly.

Downtown Cary is not only a nice vibe place to be, but also one of the safest place in the U.S. :)

It was a nice hometown feel. Ping pong and fussball were going at it, people were picnicking, and families were walking together... And it was almost 11pm!!!

Beautiful place to spend time with friends and family. Downtown has a small garden with beautiful fountain , varieties of flowers , some sports items like table tennis. There are sitting arrangements. The fountain changes colour in the evening till 11 p. m. Best place if you want to eat your dinner in downtown.you can walk on the straight road .you can definitly try ice creams there. This area has lots of ice cream shops.

Cute downtown area in Cary. Family oriented fun. Could use a bit more investment though and perhaps not run a main road right through it - I have to pass through every time I travel from Apex to home because there are limited alternatives.

A very nice family park, outdoor games, seating, cozy, ping pong table, seating areas, nice decorations for an outdoor space, perfect to celebrate a birthday or a get together.

A family friendly town with nice restaurants and wonderful people. Walk around the town and spot the art from local artists. Especially during the street fairs get an amazing taste of the area.

Nice open park with a lovely grouping of games for kids and adults to play. After living in another town with a new park that wasnt maintained or respected, I appreciate that Cary residents respect this park and leave the games and associated toys that go with the games, at the park.We recently attended Bakers and Baristas in downtown Cary Park. I was disappointed that there was only one coffee vendor and one food vendor - I was hoping the local BREW coffee shop would be there!We also attended the downtown chowdown, which was a lot of fun! The band invited kids up on stage, the CARY NC sign was out and there were a ton of great food and alcohol vendors.We do really appreciate the TOC putting together events at this park. We do enjoy getting out and spending time outdoors.

Great place to walk

My band performed at this new Cary Pavilion in the old downtown. This was a particularly pretty place to be with the fountain, the small bowling green, and the cafe table chess sets.

Every time we go the balls for the games are missingWe end up taking pictures by the fountain and go to the library . Great family venue in the summer. Nicely decorated in the winter for the holidays.

Cary has done such a great job in revitalizing Ye Olde Downtown. Grab a beer at Pharmacy, dinner at Crosstown, ice cream next door, and then head to the epic fountain to process the caloric onslaught!

Great place to relax and enjoy the downtown atmosphere. The fountain is a great sight at night as well. Since the recent renovations and opening of Cary Regional library, I am excited to see what other developments happen!

Great park with lots of folks walking around. Pretty fountain, and now the new library and parking garage nearby. They are doing more landscaping behind the library. Really a Cary gem. The downtown construction was so awful when it was going on, but the result is simply wonderful.

The girlfriend and I came here on vacation from upstate New York. We came to the park because we are big into Geocaching in the world couple around the local area this park is really clean and up kept and just looks great. Definitely recommend this park to other people

Outdoor games, beautiful fountain. Very clean and spacious, and close to amenities.

I thought this place was too good to be true. It has ping pong, bocce, foosball, chess and all the supplies needed to play them! Hope the community keeps the equipment in good condition for future use and visits!

Good quality books and you get to keep the book for 3 WEEKS amazing experience! I am definitely going there again the is a fountain there as well were you are welcome to bring dogs!

Small clean and beautiful downtown

Great place for an evening stroll. Its beautiful especially with the lighted fountain. Awesome location, right next to the library. We always stop by on our way back from the library.

Cary has done a great job revitalizing (what feels like) the original downtown. The fountain is wonderful, there are games and people strolling around - it feels fun and alive. Not to mention the great spots nearby for beer, food, and ice cream (also known as the holy trinity).

Just happened upon the drum circle and it was so fun! Our grand daughter joined in playing the drums and dancing. The group welcomed and encouraged her, they were great! Spend some time in the park and walking downtown; really nice, family friendly place.

Pretty cool place to bring the kids for games and activities, or your significant other.. Watching the water fall is pretty cool the changing of the lights different colors. Or for those who are married and want to get away from the wife / husband for a breather or two to collect your thoughts.. Lol

Good place for a relaxed walk. The downtown fountain is the main attraction with musically synchronized fountain light during Christmas time adds to the flavour.

I like the park itself, but there is no bathroom here that I am aware of. That makes it very hard to visit in the evenings and at night. Please fix this!! Where Im from there are bathrooms at every park. Also, not nearly enough activity tables. We love the idea a lot, but can never get a turn at playing any of them, due to people never leaving the tables. We love the fountain too, but lights only changed 2 times the 2 hours we were there, waiting to take pics of the changing colors. It only turn to purple and blue one time each. Again, we love the park. It just needs some fine tuning.

Great little park in downtown Cary, perfect for waking about. They have a Christmas light and music performance up for the holidays in the evenings. We stayed to play ping pong and admire the tree. Great space!

When I saw them building this I was very skeptical even negative but I was wrong, it is a great place for kids and all members of the community. I love the games available, the fountain is a great centerpiece, its a good place to hang out for a while if going to the library or arts center, always being enjoyed by many neighbors.

This park is dog friendly. There are dog clean up stations and water for dogs on the water fountains. Mocha loves walking around the fountain and people watching.

Downtown Cary has changed a lot in the past few years. It is now a great spot to spend an afternoon with the family and have something to do for everyone from visiting a brewery, having brunch and coffee, walking around enjoying the sights to having some ice cream with the little ones.

Holloween Celebration was wonderful. Face painting, bubbles, pumpkins, pumpkin carving, movies after dark... couldnt have been better...except of there was free food!!! Lots of awesome memories made!

New Library next to the Park is nearly complete. I love the way Cary downtown is growing. It is so active every day of the week. Just a wonderful place to live.

This is a great and cozy place. You can play pingpong, chess or checkers; or just relax and enjoy the fountain.

They did a great job with the fountain and new library. Nice for a walk or skate downtown for plenty of options to enjoy and unwind!

After more than 20 years living here downtown Cary is finally turning into an attraction. New fountain with rotating colored lights is a people magnet especially at night. Lots to do within a couple of blocks including ice cream. School across the street is being converted to Art Museum. Much more open space now. But not a lot of parking.

We love to bring kids here equally during summer and winter.
