After months of having very few safe activities for our kids I received an unsolicited call from Goldfish of Cary. They were reaching out to former members to explain the measures they had put in place. It was a delightful and thorough call. Within 2 days my husband and I had decided to reenroll our 2 children. They have been having an amazing time doing their lessons again, I feel very good about the safety measures and we were even able to enjoy 2 family swim times where there were less than 10 people in the entire pool. We started swim classes here when my son was 9 months old. He’s 16 months old now and he loves coming here! All the instructors are so energetic and helpful. At this age you have to get in the pool with your kid. They also have open swim that you can sign up for weekly in addition to your scheduled class. Everything is very clean and they take your temperature before you enter. The pool is indoor and heated.

Our daughter loves her teacher and we appreciate all of the precautions being taken for COVID. We like the environment and that our daughter is learning and getting more comfortable in the water.

Very clean establishment. All of your workers starting from Ms. Lynn to the lifeguards, are all very professional, polite and very respectful. I love Emma’s swimming instructor, Ms. Pamela. She’s so patient with Emma and for that she’s actually getting comfortable with Ms. Pamela. I’m so glad I came here to enroll Emma in swimming lessons. Great job Goldfish!!!

Everything about this school is fantastic. From the minute you walk in everything is clean and organized. The pool area is kept at a nice temperature. The learning environment is positive and friendly. Parents sit behind the pool glass and can watch. There’s a toy/ coloring station. Changing rooms, bathrooms, showers with soap and shampoo. Hair dryers. Even diapers at the changing station in case you forgot to bring some. The teachers are fantastic. My child would scream just trying to get a bathing suit on. After just 1 private lesson with one of the instructors she’s smiling and asking to go back! The owners are wonderful people and they truly want to help!!

I have to say that this organization is simply the best! We have been members for a year now and with time we have had more and more positive experiences. The staff is top of the line, everyone from the front desk staff, to managers to the teachers. They truly care about our family and take the time to remember us and anticpate our familys unqiue needs and desires. The teachers are so knowledgeable and work with each kid on their own level of experience. I have seen my kids go from a fear of water to having a passion for swimming. If you enroll here you will be amazed. Great organization with amazing, caring staff.

Definitely a wonderful place for young kids to learn and feel confident about swimming. There is a nice shower area with plenty of showerheads for kids to rinse off and shampoo and also multiple changing rooms. There is also a mirror and hair dryer station. Two swimsuit spinners are also available. Parents are also able to view classes outside large floor -to-ceiling windows. Younger siblings are also welcome to play in the viewing area. My son enjoys the group classes and their meets. Overall an excellent facility!

Weve been very impressed with how organized the staff is at the Cary Goldfish location. The instructors are always prepared, class starts on time, and safety is always the most important thing. We have recommended Goldfish to multiple people and will continue to do so.

Absolutely, wonderful experience at Goldfish! You guys have thought of everything to put both children and their families at ease. I would recommend to anyone looking for a caring and professional atmosphere to teach your child how to swim. We couldn’t be happier! The instructors are amazing and class size is ideal!

The instructors my two children have had are excellent. Miss Emma has been very patient with my hesitant three year old who was in tears the entire first lesson. Miss Jessica is wonderfully enthusiastic with my five year old, and her encouragement is helping him gain confidence and valuable swimming skills he didn’t have two months ago. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The overall atmosphere is happy, upbeat, warm, and welcoming.

Amazing, solid curriculum. Expensive up front, but you get free access to family swim times (all 7 of my kids swam for free even though I had only one baby signed up) they get a free toy each time the finish a class. They also get a free swim diaper or shirt and waterproof bag upon registration. We can also schedule make up lessons if you notify them ahead of time that you will miss one.

Carly & Casey are great instructors. They encourage our child to try new things, but in a way that helps him feel comfortable and not anxious.

Goldfish is such an amazing place. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful and the staff are top notch. My son has learned so much in a short amount of time of taking swimming lessons. I love how after each lesson the parents are allowed in the pool area to see their child swim and get a progress update from the instructor. I highly recommend Goldfish Swim School!

The facilities, swim coaches, and owner are all superb and I can not recommend this place enough. My daughter was quickly put at ease and loves her lessons. The owner went above and beyond to work with us on figuring out a lesson time that would work with our schedule. Best customer service ever!

I like Goldfishs course curriculum. From where I come, one moves up a level if he/she masters a stroke. Goldfishs curriculum is pretty intuitive and incorporate several important technical aspects that are fun for the current level, yet important for the next. I also like the schools evaluation method to level-up.

Supportive teachers and atmosphere are certainly the most important! But the confidence she has gained in her swimming abilities is also so valuable to us.

They have been absolutely amazing with my kids; working at my kids pace and confidence. They are also very flexible with scheduling and accommodating.

The teachers are very friendly with the kids, they make them practice their skills and teach new skills in each class. Staff is very kind to accommodate any missed classes, and the family swim option is another plus point :)

I must say that I love many things about Goldfish Swim. The first thing being my son is actually getting in the water and keeps a smile on his face. He has been terrified of water since birth. We had pretty much given up on swimming lessons. Cooper saw your commercials and came to us saying he wanted to try. I jumped on it. I was not expecting him to enjoy and I figured our first class would be our last. Your facility is so bright, clean and welcoming. We are amazed how smoothly it is ran. Especially with so many younger instructors. You can tell that they take their job very serious. Our instructor Dannah is amazing! She was very quick to pick up on Coopers personality and understood his fears. She does not push him beyond his comfort, but she encourages him to try a little more each time. We are amazed how she has helped with his comfort in the water, she has gained his trust and we are thrilled! We love the fact that little ribbons are given. Cooper leaves feeling so proud. We are very thankful for Goldfish Swim! I truly feel we made the right choice„

I have several friends who went to a different swim school and their main complaint was the amount of instruction time their child received, so I was wary of this group format. Lets just say, I was pleasantly surprised! My sons teacher is focused, efficient, and gives the kids clear directions so they know what is expected of them. She lets them try, corrects them if they need it, and reinforces them when they dont. I couldnt be happier!

Golfish has done a great job teaching my 3 and 5 yr old boys how to be comfortable, confident and improve their swim! We also love the space there - the kids feel like they are at the beach!

Everyone is so nice and professional at Goldfish, Ms. Danelle, Brendan, Jill, Danielle etc. sorry I cannot remember all the names. They are patient with all the kids while teaching them new skills. The kids learn quickly and teachers provide constructive feedback. Both my sons go there. Bryson my youngest wasn’t adjusting well so Brendan held him in his arms to calm him and got all wet as he was wearing regular clothing. Such a nice and professional young gentleman. Thank you very much for working with Bryson! They always accommodate us with the schedule changes when we are sick or out of town. Very friendly and professional atmosphere. Thank you for everything that you do for Clancy and Bryson!

I never write reviews but Im hoping this will prevent this from happening to someone else and the manager can implement some changes for safety reasons.Within minutes of our first class starting my 3 year old managed to get into the pool. The instructor didnt notice him get into the water or notice while he was flailing underwater (her back was turned while with another student).My son was completely submerged for probably 4 or 5 seconds (doesnt sound long but felt like an eternity), long enough for me to make it from behind the blue chairs and through the door and to the pool. The lifeguard got to him the same time I did and I believe she was the one to pull him out, although I could be wrong - I was only looking at his face to make sure he was breathing.I hope they will introduce a water safety class for new students before expecting them to sit poolside. It should be mandatory that instructors NEVER turn their backs on their students. Also have lifevests or floaties for new students in between their turns with the instructor. Id also advise first timers to stay with their kids poolside until you feel confident they will not try to enter the water.I did talk to the manager who was apologetic and offered us a refund. Im just thankful my son is okay and needless to say we will not be returning.

Weve had our daughter enrolled for about 7 months and we can definitely tell the difference between when she first began her lessons and now. The facilities are very clean, we have consistent instructors, and a very comfortable pool.

This school is amazing!!! The teachers taught my son confidence in the water in just 4 weeks.

Today my son had his first swim lesson at Goldfish Swim School in Cary, and we could not be happier with our experience. Everything was extremely clean, the staff was friendly, and we were not hit with an overwhelming smell of chlorine when we entered the pool area. We visited another swim school in the past, and you could smell the chlorine in the parking lot. With asthma, allergies, and eczema to contend with, that was very important to us in choosing a swim school. My son is also extremely shy and takes a while to warm up in new spaces (22 months old). When he was screaming and clinging to me at the beginning of class, our instructor was very accommodating and adjusted the lesson so that he could learn in his comfort zone. By the end of class, he was so comfortable he even let the instructor touch him without getting upset! He has never warmed up to a new activity so quickly. I am so happy that we found Goldfish Swim School, and I look forward to my son continuing lessons there for a long time.

Love the feedback we receive after each lesson and how much fun my kids are having. They are advancing at a pace that is much faster than any other previous lessons
