I’ve been to this place at least 3 times already and I had a great experience each time! It’s clean and the surround sound system is awesome. If you have to make a trip to the restroom there are speakers in there so you won’t miss anything. Nice location and easy to find!

This place had a great ambience. The food was plated nicely and looked good. However, it was cold. We even sent it back and the fresh items they brought were also cold. The cocktails were tasty, but be prepared for high prices. I would recommend this place to others and Ill likely come back. I plan to not order hot food in the future and maybe just enjoy the show and drinks.

The venue is really nice and the comedians were great! We got there fairly early so we were seated by the stage. Drinks were served quickly but we had to chase the waiter down 45 minutes later to put in a food order because he never came back. The food and drinks were good, but much too expensive for the quality. There is a 2 item minimum, which I completely understand; however, if they lowered the price point a bit, so many more people would order. If youre planning on dinner and a drink for a couple, expect to spend $100 minimum.

The experience is enjoyable and I understand having a 2 item minimum order but do not like that aspect of it. Also, I have been twice and both times our server was extremely slow in taking our order and getting it to us. We watched her take orders from others who arrived after us and their food arrived before she even took our order. Hopefully next time I’ll have a different server. I wish I could remember her name.

Fantastic venue. Great headliners for Raleigh. Food is delicious and service is fast. There is a “convenience fee” per ticket for online purchases. Not sure why each ticket carries a fee if it’s a one time purchase online. Rather annoying and a bit of a racket.I was the DD for my party and 10 ounce soft drinks are $6 with no refills. Vegas at the MGM for Kevin Hart? Fine. West Cary at the Improv for Doug Stanhope? That’s dicey. Some of the more expensive drink prices in the triangle as well. $8 miller lite bottles and $14 eight ounce margaritas.Food is pricey but not as heinous. It’s not a cruise ship, calm down over there.5 star venue. 5 star entertainment and staff. 3 star prices.Meet you in the middle. Will be back.

Tickets stated doors @ 8:45 show @ 9:00, doors didnt open until 9:20, opener took the stage roughly @ 9:45/50, headliner roughly @ 10:05. Cute place inside, our comedians were great. Down sides: each patron is required to purchase 2 items each (to be fair this is stated online in the purchasing process) however, Martini was warm and @ $14 per cocktail I was very disappointed, mentioned to the server with no attention to the matter until I reluctantly ordered the same cocktail as my second mandatory drink since the list was limited, and only then did I get a cold cocktail. No disrespect to the server who had AT A MINIMUM 20+ groups at once, which also slowed cash out process to linger on 30 minutes POST headliner leaving the stage. Poor business model IF THIS IS HOW IT ALWAYS RUNS, maybe it was a bad night, but I wont be returning.

Had a great time on our first visit, the club is nice, big, and clean. We went to a 9:30 show. Doors were supposed to open at 9:15. We arrived at 8:45 in the hopes of being towards the front of the line...we were not. The doors didnt actually open until about 10:15, so I wasnt impressed with standing out in the cold for an hour and a half. It wouldve been nice to have had a staff member communicate that the previous show had room long and give some estimate as to how much longer we would be waiting. That being said we will return.

This is a fun place to see the top comics visit Raleigh on their tours. Fairly intimate setting, good drinks, regular bar food. Great for a night out to enjoy a few chuckles. The nice thing about a comedy club is usually the audience is self-selecting in already being in a jovial, happy mood, so you will be around a bunch of happy people.I would add photos but they are against cell phone photos in the place.

When I arrived at the Raleigh Improv and got in line a manager was walking the line saying they were over capacity so theres no guarantee you are gonna get in. 8:45 PM doors open? Evidently not, one of the coldest nights and the line was wrapped almost to the end of the back parking lot. 10:00 PM we finally made it to our seats. Not one apology from management in regards to the long wait outside. So Ill assume this is how they normally operate. Youre required to order two items but the menu is blah! A plain cesar salad is $13. The wait for food was extremely timelong. By the time we received our food the ice in our drinks had fully melted. Mind you when you know you have to order items you come hungry. The comedians kept expressing that the audience wasnt responding as expected. When youre frozen it takes a bit to fully warm up.

Great venue for a date night or evening out with friends. I like that its in Cary so theres plenty of free parking and easy access. Remember the 2 item minimum per person when you go. Drinks are decent, food is pretty good, I usually love the spinach dip and chocolate mason jar dessert! Get there early so you can be up close, be prepared to get cozy with the strangers sitting next to you. I wish there was a little bit more space between tables, and that the hallway to/from the lobby was wider, it gets pretty awkward when its crowded.

The Raleigh Improv has two things that stick out to me as soon as you step into the show room. One being a beautiful show room and two a bad floor plan in the sense of direction of seating.Number one we can skip. Number two make you feel like you at a family table with strangers. Sure were all there to laugh but spacing to your neighbors is minimal. It could be difficult to see the entertainers trying to see past your neighbor to the stage. The food options are good. With all of the basic options and some specialties depending on the day by the chef. With so many people ordering at the same time food and drinks come out in a timely manner. Also to mention the staff was grade A. The lady infront of me had a issue with a previous show and managment offered some options that the lady was pleased with for a possible future show as a means of reimbursement (He still needed to present to the front office but he brought it up which is a plus. Willing to work with the customer).

Dont go hungry..this was our first visit & were really excited to have a new comedy club in our area. I hosted a group of 6, we arrived 30+ mins early & still had to sit in the back with another group. The seats were cramped but not terrible. The comedy was great! That is about the only positive thing I can say. We ordered our food & it NEVER came. Literally at the end of the last set the waiter dropped off our bill (took the food off) but never mentioned it, apologized, tried to explain etc. After we paid & were getting ready to leave, some staff shows up with our food & to-go boxes...are you joking? I could not believe no one came out to explain..apologize..nothing. All the other tables around us seemed pretty frustrated too with their service, etc.We finally walked to another restaurant to eat..at 9pm.For the record I rarely leave bad reviews but I was pretty appalled & embarrassed.

I really wanted to enjoy the show at this place but it was a disappointment right from the start. The line was very long to get inside and it was already time for the show to start so we didnt get in till 30 minutes later. I have to say for the first timers or even returning customers you would want to feel welcome like any other professional establishment would do but we didnt. The wait staff started to take everyones orders when the show started and it was disturbing to listen the comedian. I was no aware of the 2 items minimum per person since the official website under Info and FAQ says highly encouraged not required which is misleading. When asked for clarification instead of professional attitude my husband and I were threaten if we dont order a police will be called. We should had leave right then as this is not a way to treat customers but we already paid for our tickets and wanted to enjoy the show. We were annoyed that instead of GM come and talk to us for clarification they sent their wait staff to threaten us. We did acknowledged it wasnt the waitress fault and ended ordering 4 items from overpriced menu. A man in the black suit (who I assumed could be either GM or security but never introduced himself) came to our table and told us we had to leave right now otherwise he will call the police. We asked why and been told we threw a menu at his waitress. Excuse me? I was shocked. We told him we didnt do such a thing and we did order the 4 items. Instead of having a professional conversation he kept treating us with police. This was so upsetting. Im pregnant and really didnt need this kind of stress or be treated this way. We left harassed, without explanation or civil conversation. Is this how you want to be treated? Im writing this review to let other women know. Shame on this establishment, general management and Levite Lite company.

We visited for Raleigh Improvs grand opening/VIP night without any expectation for what might be in store and were completely WOWed. Although its a solid 25 minutes from Downtown Raleigh, its worth the drive or Uber for the national comedy talent they are booking here. The facility is incredible in capacity and planning - every seat in the house has a great, unobstructed view. The staff was wonderfully accommodating at keeping the drinks coming and the strawberry cheesecake I tried for dessert left me wanting to come back and explore more of the menu at an upcoming show. We saw a set from Brooks Wheelan for the first time (he was unknown to us at that time) and laughed so hard the entire time... The host came out and did his thing...still no food or drinks. The opening act came out...we got our drinks but still no food. The headliner came out...still no food or refills. The comedian was 15 minutes into his show and we still didnt have our food. We ended up canceling the order because at this point the show was almost done. In fact several tables canceled their orders. We asked for a manager 3 times before one happened to be walking by and we stopped him to let him know how disappointed we were. Really nice place, and the show was really good!!!....However, I can only give it three stars because first off the show started extremely late, the service wasnt that great, and the food and drink prices are pretty high. The doors were suppose to open at 9:15 pm, but didnt open until around 10 pm. Once we were seated and ordered our food it was about 30 minutes or so before we received drinks. The food did not come out all at the same time. I ordered spinach dip as an appetizer and street tacos as a main course, but I never received the tacos. There also was some confusion for me regarding the menu, about the sodas/tea. The menu indicated $6 for a small drink, but a souvenir cup of drink with free refills for $7. It does make clear that the $7 is in addition to the $6. So, once I received my bill the drink cost was $13. This wasnt the worst thing in the world, but it wasnt that great either seeing as how I only received one refill, toward the end of the show. Overall, I was just a bit disappointed with my experience, but the night wasnt a total bust! I still enjoyed the show. Its just unfortunate that I couldnt give it more stars. I will say that it is a fairly new place, and Im sure they will continue to fine tune their service.

My own experience, yours may be better or worse: I will be back. If youve been to goodnights in Raleigh you know how crowded and uncomfortable that place can be. This is a brand new establishment that is clean, huge, and modern. There are a couple of very bad seats so be aware if they try to sit you there. Ask politely to move somewhere else if possible. The bad seats are at bad angles at the sides of the venue where you cant see the whole stage. Other than that, there is enough room to actually eat your food and enjoy the show. Plenty of lightning so you dont have to use your phone flashlight to see your bill - you know what I mean if youve been to goodnights. Prices of food and drinks are a little high and there is a 2 item minimum per person - both to be expected. Doesnt have to be alcohol which is good. Will definitely be back. We mightve been roughly 75 people deep in line and maybe another hundred+ still filling in behind us.Once we finally got moving a little after nine, and into the building, we get seated furthest to the side. For arriving early, youd think theyd favor seating, but they dont. Get here late or get here early, makes no difference.. you might get good seats, might get less favorable seats. Its now 33 minutes after the show was supposed to start and theyre still seating people..Edit: servers were great but also very distracting. Saw lots of plates and drinks, (including our table) being served the wrong orders. Drinks (altho relatively expensive) and loaded fries were delicious. Doesnt negate this place has issues with timing and putting customers out in the cold.

Even at 2 spirited beverages youre looking at $20-30. The food looked nice but was cold. We ordered loaded fries, nachos with pork and chicken bites. The food was at least $12 for each item and then it was all cold. We sent the chicken and fries back. Once it returned the chicken was hot but overcooked and the fries were still cold. Had a fun date night there. It was clean and very wide open. Ive been to other comedy clubs and felt cramped. I did think the 2 item minimum per person was a bit much. I could understand 2 per couple /table. We dont drink and had already went out to dinner so being required to get 4 items there was hard to accomplish.

2 stars because the seating arrangement is very bad. It’s the worst. The food and drinks service is terrible. It almost felt racist when the waiter didn’t get our drinks even after reminding twice. I loved the comedy, but the lowlights of seating and the wait staff overpowered the experience resulting in a poor experience.

Great atmosphere! Plenty of seating space. No seat is a bad seat. Wait staff are always available. Bathroom is very well lit with lots of mirrors too. Well be back soon.

The comedian, Pete Lee, 10 stars! A comedian who had everyone laughing and only afterwards did I realize he didnt have to use profanity or stoop to political jokes, which are cheap to come by these days. The food is what is expected, not that great and way over priced. $9 for a bottle of beer. But I go for the comedy and a drink and eat elsewhere.

I have been to lots of comedy clubs. I was really impressed with the venue and the staff at the improv. Will definitely come again for more shows. The layout makes it so there is not a bad seat in the house.

Had an awesome experience at this newly opened place! First of all its a really cool venue! Its very modern and I couldnt believe the interior would be designed so well. Its a huge venue but you can see the stage perfectly from anywhere in the house. Ken Jeung is hilarious as always, so that part was a big plus to our last night of the year. They just opened this place and all the staff were running around nonstop. Theres a thing or two they need to perfect so service can be faster but we didnt mind as we were busy enjoying the great show Dr Ken put on. Definitely a great place to be added to this area. Highly recommend to check out. They had a reduced menu due to the opening night and I ordered the burger and it was pretty good! They also had a decent drink menu/cocktails. I look forward to the next show at this place.

‪ImprovRaleigh worst customers service. Went to see Dean Cole didn’t even get to see him because we left due to we didn’t get our drink orders. waited over an hour and nothing. Also waited 1hour plus in line. Couldn’t enjoy the show because of this. Everyone around us got there drinks and even other drinks when they ordered more. Asked our server she said that sometimes tickets get lost. But didn’t even say sorry or tell us she would get us our drinks right away or anything. Then asked for a manger and was told they are too busy to come deal with an issue. Thought that was what they are there for to solve problems. Don’t go there. Had better time at good nights and that place you sit on top of each other ‬

Great spot! Large space with much seating. Theres room to sit comfortably and be entertained by the best comedians! Be prepared to have to order 2 items off the menu and to stand in line at the door for some shows (even if you buy your ticket in advance).
