I’ve gone to Double Deuce Tattoo for all of my tattoos, and each and every one of them came out amazing. Scott did one of my tattoos, which was a gypsy girl face. Not only did it come out amazing, but he is a very good guy that makes the whole tattoo experience a great one. He is very professional and detailed in his work. I have only gotten tattooed by this shop because of the quality of business it upholds. Scott is a great artist that I will be going to again. I would most surely recommend this shop to anyone.

I’ve gotten my last few tattoos here and I have been very happy every time. My artist is usually Scott and he keeps everything clean and does amazing work! This is the only shop I will go to especially with covid they have taken extra precautions and I feel very good about going there even now.

I got my Bender tattoo here. And then promptly forgot where I had went. Ive been searching to remember where it was and today I found them.I chose this place because the other shop I first went to was very unprofessional and didnt even acknowledge my existence when I first came there. Ive gotten tattoos done here three times, but the second two times were for the same and large tattoo. The second time I went it was a perfect experience, at least as far as being repeated stabbed can be. When I felt a little dizzy, one of the guys went and got me some water, and they took a break while I recovered a bit. The third time was the same as the second time, and the tattoo came out perfectly. Those two times Tooch handled my tattoos, and I seriously have no complaints. The guys there were all really friendly.The first one was done by some idiot that didnt even work there anymore two weeks after I got the tattoo. When I came back to show that I thought the tattoo was uneven, Tooch apologized about the other mans bad performance and fixed it for free and then did a free touch up for it a few weeks later. Honestly, they corrected so well and quickly without fuss, I cant really take a star away from this for this; the problematic element has been removed and they made it right.They also have some pretty cool art. Better than you might expect if not a little niche.

Got my first tattoo done here and they are great. I had an appointment to discuss my idea and they help you make it better if needed or help you put an idea together if you are not sure exactly what you want. They are very professional, they take there time to clean the tools being used and they try to be as gentle as they can when doing piercings or tattoos. However the prices for piercings are a little to high i would say.

This is my second tattoo with Tooch. He did a great job both times. He soothed my first tattoo worries so we’ll i came back for a second one. He worked with me on the design all the way through the end. He made suggestions that were very good and I’m glad I listened to him about sizing, placement and shading. And he’s a nice guy to boot. Got a couple of piercings here. Not only did he do a great job, but advised me not to get certain piercings based on the shape and size of my ear. Having someone you can trust not to just be looking for more money is wonderful. Loved my experience and will definitely come back.

Nate was phenomenal! There was not many reviews about him so I made sure to leave this and spread the word that THIS GUY IS GOOD. He was extremely patient with making sure every detail of my tattoo was exactly how I wanted it. The experience was amazing, for my first tattoo Nate was light handed and consistently made sure I was doing okay. The actual store was steril and the guys in there treat everyone who walks through those doors like family. I will definitely be going back for my other tattoos.

Scott and the team do an excellent job! We are working respectivelly on our 3rd and 4th tattoos with them, and all of them have healed great and look crisp! Went in earlier this week with my cousins for tattoos (my first). Edgar was able to talk to us right then, and we set up our appointment for that evening. At our appointment time, Edgar drew up our designs beautifully, and was so amazing during the entire process! He was calming and as gentle as possible; really made this a very positive experience for us! We LOVE the tats - the design and shading was perfect for all 3 of us. By far the most friendly shop Ive ever been to. As a person who is heavily tattooed Ive been in many cases where the artists are talented but the tough/cool guy attitude ruins the experience. Here I was immediately greeted and made to feel at home. They were happy to discuss my tattoo idea and potential problems that may occur with certain areas as well as tweak it where it would be a better fit for the location (feet). More than happy with the final outcome as well. Considering I just recently moved to the area, this shop is definitely my new go to spot.

Double Deuce is the place to go for a REALLY GREAT TATTOO!!!I went to Double Deuce because my daughter had been there and had 3 awesome pieces done. I had been thinking of an idea for a tattoo for 3 or 4 years and finally went to Double Deuce and talked to Scott Russell to get the work done. Not only was this going to be an original tattoo it was also a cover up of a smaller tattoo of an Eagle that I did not think looked right. When Scott was done I had THE BADDEST super hero eagle tattoo you have ever seen!!!!! The colors are truly amazing and the shading is just off the charts!! I could go on and on about how awesome this tattoo is, but lets just say I already know what I am going to have done next and I will be back to see Scott REAL SOON!!!! I’ve had nothing but the best from the guys at Double Deuce. I initially went there about 3 years ago to get a train wreck on my arm fixed and the results were amazing. Scott did a super job recovering what I had and turning it into a wonderful piece. Since then my wife has gone to Double Deuce, Scott, to get a full back piece and it looks great. I have also integrated more work into the initial repair job and am on my way to having a full sleeve. These guys do more than tracing flash art onto skin. The staff has always been courteous, timely, and professional. I would highly recommend anyone to go to Double Deuce for any art work.

So Ive been here to get several of my tattoos done by Errol, and Ive finally decided to leave a review. This is easily the best tattoo shop that i have ever been to, but i guess its not really about the shop. Its about the artists. Its about the art. Let me start by saying I didnt really want to leave a review because if people found out how good a of a tattoo artist Errol really is he would be booked out for months (at least). Errol has gone above and beyond on every tattoo Ive gotten and his art always comes out looking better than I even imagined (my imagination is pretty awesome too). Again, go get a tattoo by Errol, but dont take all the spots because i still have work i need to get done.

Me and my friend wanted to get a tattoo for the first time, we shopped around for a little bit and found Double Deuce fairly quickly. I checked out the website and I really thought that this was the place for us. I was able to schedule a consultation with Edgar, within a couple days of emailing.I was nervous, but he definitely put us at ease. He was able to fit us in due to a cancellation and we were so excited!He was able to do my finger tattoo, free hand and it came out so great!I would definitely, recommend him.Tooch was very nice too, he greeted us and it added to the great atmosphere. They were the only two people I met but, I bet all of the artists are great! Definitely would recommend!

Tooch was very informative about the tragus piercing I received. He kept the atmosphere light and funny. Didnt have an appointment but he fit me in. We will be back for future tattoos and piercings. Personable and professional staff. Very clean shop.

The atmosphere was a little weird, but the piercing itself was done perfectly and the price was a lot more reasonable (in comparison to others). Steve Tucci did a great job, you can tell he knows exactly what hes doing! Very knowledgable and confident in his practice, and made sure I was good before it was done. I took my daughter in today to get her eyebrow pierced. The shop was very clean and orderly. This was her first piercing (besides her ears) and Tooch made her feel extremely comfortable. He was both professional and informative and explained every step. Highly recommend Tooch for your piercings!

I got my first tattoo in North Carolina from Scott and I love it. It was the best healing tattoo Ive ever had! When I wanted another tattoo, I returned to the shop and talked to all the guys there, getting all of their opinions. Not one minute did I feel pressured to get a tattoo and they were very honest about what would and wouldnt work instead of doing whatever I wanted regardless of logistics and how it would look in years to come. I eventually came up with a few random ideas Id hoped to throw into one tattoo (which I thought would be very difficult to do) and Derick did a fantastic job incorporating every element Id wanted into an awesome tattoo! My experiences with both Scott and Derick were great and I will not be going to another shop for any future tattoos!

Ive been getting Tats for over 15 yrs from Baltimore, MD to around the Raleigh, NC area. My best and favorite work has been from here. Tooch is the sweetest guy and a super talented piercer. He is so careful to really take his time and explain everything to you as well as being sure that he is using the perfect jewelry. He made me feel super relaxed and had me laughing the whole time. And the rest of the guys were really warm and welcoming too! Love this place!

Scotty has done cover-ups/touch-ups for two of my tattoos, and they are fantastic. Im so happy with how they turned out! All of their staff are personable, professional, and make you feel at home. I will definitely be coming back!

My experience with double deuce tattoos was great. Scott was the dude that did my tattoo. I love it. He really took his time and did a great job on it. The price was reasonable and the atmosphere was cool and laid back. I enjoyed my experience with the shop. They get 5 stars in my book.

I got my tattoo done and could not be happier. While its a simple tat, the staff was very friendly and definitely made me feel comfortable for my first tattoo. I sat down with the artist and went over what I wanted, brought in a design, and he did it. Quoted for an hour but only took 45 minutes. Prices are very reasonable as well. If youre in the market for a tattoo, check them out.

I went it for two piercings - my daith and my nose. Tooth took great care of me. Im terrified of needles, and he made me very much at ease. He talked me through everything as he was doing it, and sat and chatted with me afterward when I felt lightheaded. He gave me very clear instructions for aftercare and told me to come back in 8 weeks so he could make sure they were healing well. The studio was very clean, and he used very good aseptic technique. I was really happy with my entire experience!

Double deuce tattoo is definitely the best tattoo shop in the area I have quite a few tattoos and I have always trusted the staff there to knock it out of the park and they never let me down. Always top notch work! Very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I also recently just got my ears pierced and tooch (the piercer) was really awesome and polite and I was in and out in no time. Stop in and go see them and you will be glad you didnt go anywhere else!

Double Deuce is the only place Ill go for piercings and tattoos. Tooch has done all 7 of my facial piercings and all of them have been perfect. Errol did my calf tattoo and its the highest quality tattoo I have with excellent line work and filling. Everyone working here is a pleasure to talk to and work with. None of them have ever made me feel uncomfortable, rushed, or unworthy of their time. Everything is very clean and very well sterilized between each persons visit to the chair. Best experience and service Ive ever had at a tattoo/piercing joint and I plan to get any and all future work I want done here.

This is one of the best shops I have walked into. It was very clean, chill and every employee was super friendly. Every employee knew how to treat their customer and listened to everything their customer had to say.I had Tooch do a piercing for me and he was very knowledgeable and matter of fact about all of the questions I had. He went over the pros and cons and went out of his way to show me how clean the place was. He walked me through every step and the piercing didnt really hurt at all. You can tell he cares about his customers because he makes sure you know he is there to ask any questions even after the piercing and to come in if needed also. He was very professional all around.I would recommend this place to anyone for any piercings or work they wish to have done.

A few girlfriends and got nose and ear piercings. Tooch was very patient, gentle and took the time to answer our questions. We have gone back for follow up visits and to have nose jewelry changed. He has always been very nice and helpful. Great for first timers!

Came here for my first tattoo, a full spine, and was very pleased. Tooch and Scott were there to help me get the design down and Scott did an amazing job giving me what I wanted. The color and shading is gorgeous. The customer service was great and I will definitely be coming back here.
