A Hidden gem. A beautiful store with a great restaurant in the back. The food and service were great and I really loved the atmosphere.

My family wanted to go out to eat on a Friday night, but truly didn’t not want to drive to Joplin. Fortunately , we decided on the Woodshed. The food was wonderful. My salmon was cooked perfectly! I hate dried out salmon. My husband’s pork chops where fabulous, and the leftovers made an incredible sandwich the next day! My niece ordered a grilled cheese that any adult would have loved. It had several kinds of cheese. I, of course, stole some french fries and they are just fabulous. For you ranch lovers, it is good too. Yes, we dip our fries in it. My daughter’s hamburger was fantastic. Great taste and perfectly cooked for her. The bottom bun wasn’t soggy either which is a pet peeve of mine. Anyway, skip the drive and all that Joplin hectic traffic and stay in town. You will be glad you did.

Hidden treasure on the Carthage square! You must try out the food in The Woodshed. It is fantastic & the portions are very generous. After stuffing your tummy you can wander around the art gallery & marvel at the incredible talent of our local art community, including Andy Thomas & Lowell Davis. Check out the rest of the wonderful shops around the square if you get a chance.

The Sante Fe salad was super big and tasty. The live music was good too.

Love this place. So fun to look at the art in the gallery, Wonderful stuff. She is doing a little renovating so the shop was a little out of place from the last time I was there, but didnt stop us from browsing and buying. Had breakfast at the restaurant and food was very good. Had eggs Benedict with a yummy salad. Hubby had the spinach/garlic omelette and enjoyed it. Waiter was efficient and cordial.A little of a wait to get our food, but we werent in a hurry. Coffee was good.

We went to the Woodshed for lunch today and had the Rueben sandwich and sweet potato fries. YUM! The service was good and the atmosphere enjoyable. There are several things I would like to try off of the breakfast menu. We will be back!

Before you even walk into the place youre surrounded by beautiful art in the glass display cases outside the door. When you walk into the gallery its like nothing youve ever seen in a small town, high ceilings, wood floors, very classy. Theres so many gift ideas in this place it will blow your mind! They sell alcohol and snacks, small household goodies. The restaurant in the back of the building is nice and cozy, theres a full bar, full kitchen, a stage fits snugly into the corner of the room. Perfect venue for any event.

Local artists works on display and for sale, in the back a bar and restaurant. The food was good, I had bread pudding for dessert. I enjoyed the experience.

Loved the food, Cherry & her staff, the artworks, and Carthage football team she serves every Saturday morning! Yay! Everything was perfect!

I took my wife there to see Celtic Knot. I enjoyed the music, the food was decent. Its a little different than your conventional restaurant.

This is a wonderful place to have dinner on a Friday night. We are visiting family that brought us to this gem for dinner. The live entertainment was great.

We came to eat at the Woodshed on 4/14/2018 and were not disappointed. The burgers were amazing! Probably the best burger I have ever had. Our friends who came with us would agree.Great wait staff. They were friendly and attentive.The Emporium itself has lots of gorgeous art pieces for sale.Overall a Must see if you are in Carthage, MO. Try the burgers in The Woodshed. They are glorious!!!

Cherrys is a great place to stroll around in if you enjoy viewing great paintings and crafts. They have a wide variety of interesting pieces that are displayed and created by local artists. They also have the woodshed restaurant in the back that has live music at times and great food. The room was very dark and poorly lit which kinda killed the atmosphere. We also stood around to be seated and the waiters mostly stared at us which was frustrating as we didnt know whether to wear ourselves or not. Aside from those two little quirks, I definitely recommend it.

Great find! Wonderful ribeye steaks, terrific friendly service. Definitely recommend this place. Well be back soon and reserve time to shop the artistic gallery store out front (Cherrys).

Went here for a wedding reception and this place is really cool. And the artwork on display is amazing.

Fun to browse. Art is over-priced. Gifts are unique. Woodshed food is trendy and over-priced.

Cherrys is the perfect place to browse, shop, grab a bite, gather with friends on a comfy couch for a beverage, or shop next door through the cozy archway at Annies, where youll find an epicurie of exquisite finds, and libations too, if you so desire! One of my favs to visit!

What a fun place, Its so full of spirit! The square in Carthage needs the energy Cherrys provides. When you walk in the front doors you are surrounded by local art, in various forms. If you make it through the first room without being lured into the restaurant by the enticing smell of burgers theres a whole lot more to explore in the next room. Plus, theres a bar yall! And a stage. There always seems to be something happening at Cherrys!
