I booked a 6 hour fishing guide for my brother and I through Robert. When we got to the boat ramp, we were greeted by Robert and introduced to Steve, our guide. Steve took us out on a new bass boat with all of the bells and whistles needed for fishing. Let me just say Steve did a great job of putting us on the fish and keeping us there! Steve coached us through catching striper, hybrids, and white bass (we’ve never fished for these species before) and did an excellent job helping us keep catching fish! What an awesome experience fishing and celebrating my birthday!!! I was very impressed with Steve’s knowledge. First time fishing for striped and hybrid bass and WOW what a blast! Had a blast today! Our guide Steve found the bite quick, first fish caught was the Alatoona lake record Blue catfish at a whopping 44lbs. After that we didn’t stop catching all day. Strippers, white bass, and hybrids. Only thing that could have been better was the weather but a little rain didn’t hurt. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely have my business again in the future.

Our guide Steve was fantastic. Took us to a couple different spots on the lake and we boated 20+ stripes/hybrid bass. He’s been fishing the lake for over 20 years and really knows the lake and the habits of the fish. We had 5 fish on at one point. Our first time fishing on Lake Allatoona. We were with Captain Dan. First rate all the way. Its all about the kids catching fish and we did plenty of that! All my boys said Captain Dan was awesome. They loved the boat too, fast! 5 stars well be back!

3 friends and I went out today with our guide Steve for a bachelor party trip. We started off the day with a Lake Allatoona record blue catfish and then followed it up filling up the boat with stripers and Hybrids. My expectations were far surpassed in every aspect. We fished with Captain Steve, and I couldnt ask for a more knowledgeable, fun, family friendly guide. He was a professional by every definition. I called on Friday asking for a Saturday evening guided trip and was told they typically dont do Saturday afternoons because its busy and hot. I said I understand my but two-and-a-half-year-old and I just want to go out on the boat MAYBE catch a few fish. They set my expectations properly and we booked the trip. The next day everything went smooth at the ramp got on the boat then had to run away from some thunderstorms, put in some bait and hooked up within the first 5 minutes but it got off. Then we had to run from the thunderstorms again to sit under a bridge for about 30 minutes before going back out to fish again. At the next spot we caught four fish in before another storm came in. They ended up exceeding the expectations that were set for me. Great experience

We had such a great day with Captain Steve ! We literally pulled up to the loading dock and the boat was all set and ready to go ! Boat was plenty big enough and comfortable for us to fish and relax some on ! We caught at least 20 fish and I don’t think there was more then 15 Minutes where we didn’t get a bite ! We will for sure be back again!

There were three of us and there were six poles out between the three of us and the hybrid striper‘s were biting like crazy and Steve was definitely keeping up with it and did not miss a beat. I can’t wait for the call when the stripers are biting at Carter’s lake we will definitely be using Steve for that trip.

Captain Rob is the best captain Ive ever experienced going out on a charter boat with, hands down! He has a great personality and great sense of humor. My wife got me a trip with Captain Rob for my birthday this year. This is our 2nd trip with him and just like the first it was great. The fish were being fish early on, and not being cooperative, but he worked his tail off and got us on some hungry fish. His knowledge and experience with fishing in general , and Lake Allatoona in particular is very obvious. We ended up with a great variety to fish with several striped & spotted bass with a few hybrids & white bass thrown in. Cant wait to make a trip this fall.

Allatoona ! First bite guide Brad had us on fish w/in 15 mins of leaving boat ramp! Boat tackle bait and him all ready to go well before our depart time. We brought home a cooler full of fish! We caught total of 31! We threw back the striper even though they were more than big enough to keep. Figure they can grow bigger than they already were and b caught at later time for sport and hopefully released again.I give entire experiance across the board 5 stars from start to finish. Brads a great guide and even w 3 of us catching fish he managed to keep bait on our hooks fish off our hooks bait back on hooks and back in water.Nothing but good and we will b booking again and will b booking at Carters lake in future as well.Thank you first bite for a much needed day of relaxing. fishing, good times, alot of laughing and alot of catching fish

Incredible trip with an excellent guide. His 22+ years of experience on lake Allatoona are clearly on display with his knowledge of the lake. He has more honey holes than Winney the Pooh. This was our first charter with Capt Rob but it will most certainly not be our last. This was hands down one of the best fishing days I’ve ever experienced. We caught large spotted bass, hybrids, striper and even a big walleye! All from the comfort of a very nice center console vessel. We took our two boys 7 and 9! We are an avid outdoors family, and fish a lot while we camp.
