I highly recommend working with the Omens Group for events. I recently hosted a brunch banquet at The Shelby and I can not say enough positive things about the team who is a part of the Omens Group. From my first meeting with Layton, I knew that the team would be amazing to work with and was in awe with the beauty of the venue. Layton, Tyler, Jess, and Layssa were patient, courteous, and responsive to all of my emails and text messages. Overall, I am so glad that I decided to host my banquet at The Shelby; the Omens Group made my event planning process a breeze!! :)

The staff was courteous and attentive. The space was well lit and accommodating. We were treated with kindness and respect. The fruit table was bananas lol. Jay LaMont the comedian gave a hell of a performance and the reason we were there was for the Queen who turned 50. What an amazing night!!!

Great venue, cool vibe, bartender makes great drinks and hes cute! Great selection of alcohol. Bar is separate from dance floor which is great. Parking is easy. Thinking of celebrating my birthday here. Thank you Brion for the drinks!!

Went here recently with some of my girlfriends and the bartender, Brion (I believe that’s how you spell it) was amazing! Best bartender I’ve had in a while! Drinks were perfect, he really knows how to make a good margarita! Thought I’d be just coming for like 30 minutes but we ended up staying all night! Definitely gonna come back for my birthday!!! Turning the big 26 this year!

Brion is awesome and makes really bomb drinks. Vibe and atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Easy location to get to and easy parking. Would definitely come back again!

My whole experience was amazing to say the least. Brion was absolutely exceptional. We laughed the whole night. Also, I’m so picky with margaritas but his was up to my standards! Can’t wait to go back

It would be absolutely perfect if it had a stove... but otherwise excellent venue for moderately-sized events.

Had a wonderful night at The Shelby hosted by a friend and would definitely consider booking an event here myself! The decor is gorgeous, I especially loved the lighting and how it made the spacious venue feel cozy and warm. Besides the lovely interior, the workers and bartenders there are very friendly and really dedicated to ensuring that everyone present in the venue is having a pleasant time. Jordan was very friendly and kept the atmosphere fun and bubbly. Overall a great venue, 10/10 for sure!

Such a great venue to host any type of party. I love the flexibility, the service, and most importantly the professionalism of the team that works the venue. I hosted my daughters quinceañera there and it went so smoothly. I would highly recommend.

Excellent venue -- we had a birthday party here and thoroughly enjoyed our event from start to finish. Beforehand the communication/response from the staff preparing for our event was incredible. This is a great addition to Carson and we are so happy we ended up finding the Shelby. We know our friends and family all had a great time. We will be back!

The Shelby Venue in Carson is gorgeous. Needed to have a reception together in 48hrs and they made it happen. The space is so creative to include beautiful lighting, tables chairs, and linen eliminating the need to have to worry about decor. The host response is great. My inquiry was answered within an hour at 8pm at night which eased my worry. of all the host were both so nice, sweat, and just helpful. I really appreciated how helpful they both more. Many of my guest raved of the venue and inquired about use of the space for future events. I will definitely be back.

Came here for my friends birthday party, and I cannot put in words how beautiful the venue is. The color of the lights changed between pink and blue, which was freaking awesome and beautiful. I also heard my friend said that there was no charge for bringing in home-made foods, which I do not see many venues allow that. I would love to have my birthday here after my friend.

I cant believe what a gem this venue is! Attended a bay shower here a few weeks ago and the space was absolutely perfect! Totally customizable floor plan AND lighting! They also have an awesome projector that played baby pics throughout - such an awesome touch.The staff on hand were incredible, nothing but great things the whole day!Id definitely recommend this space or consider for my own event!
